Rikuto struggled under the weight of all the small kids that crowded around him. They were sitting at a ramen shop and he was struggling to help the owners feed his brood of foster siblings Aaaaah! No no no! he lunged to stop one of the twins from hitting each other "Ayaaaaa...." he sat as everyone finally got settled and began to eat. Rikuto glanced down the street, wondering how Matsu was doing in the hospital Also...what happened to Ryo..Ryu...well I wonder what happened to him. He was so bad with names and he sighed into his bowl of soup, head drooping. Some of the older kids were starting to take the younger ones back and within a few minutes he was alone with his soup "Haa...how much?" Rikuto dug into his pocket and payed for the food as best he could, promising to help clean everything up at closing time before he started to wander around the streets. He wondered briefly if anyone knew Matsu so he started asking around as it began to snow heavily again.
He breathed into his hands, rubbing his hands together, as Rikuto made his way down the street. He wore a light jacket and scarf as he ordered a cup of hot tea "He's blonde...blue eyes...no? Thanks..." he sighed miserably. It seemed whoever Matsu had been, he'd not been around for a long time. No one seemed to remember him Its sad...well...next shop!

As he exited the hospital, Ryo looked around hoping to sight the monk not too far in the distance. But he didn't see him. He decided to ask around to see if anyone had seen him pass by. Civilian after civilian had claimed they didn't see him. Ryo was just about to give up until he finally found one homeless man. He figured the homeless would pay attention to more than normal civilians. So he approached the man and asked "Have you seen a man with Brown hair that was pulled back? He had a slight bear and purple robes." The homeless man looked at Ryo with a confused look. He then pointed to his left toward the forest. Ryo nodded. "Thank you." he said as he made his way towards the forest.

Fuji began to walk the streets with a few ninjas escorting her. As she walked by she seemed to be getting greeted and welcomed back. "My apologizes for leaving the village and having you all lose faith in my abilities..," she said with a down cast look. "But I will make up for it by become this village Sanin and supporting the new Yukikage to the best of my abilities..." he said as she and her escort now headed toward the Yukikage's tower.

Matsu Hyuuga

Matsu walked along the peaceful streets that broke up the village in sections. Several villagers walked about as well, minding their own business. Occasionally one would meet eyes with Matsu and would return a smile shown so kindly to them. Once Matsu got used to treading over the icy stone, there was a sort of magic that settled on the place. All was generally quiet except for the humming of a nearby channel that hosted a river. Countless shops and small businesses were scattered at corners and street intersections. Anyone would feel lost and surely would lose their way if it were their first time traveling the streets. This was not the case for Matsu, though. Using his still active Byakugan, Matsu knew the exact location every apparel store and boutique in the village. That included blacksmith shops and several armories.

Matsu stopped at each store starting with the ones closest to him. In each store, Matsu would find one or two items that would fancy him and he would buy them. After buying sandals and pants, Matsu had also purchased a bag where he would keep his boots and muddy pants until they could be cleaned. At the end of his journey, Matsu visited the blacksmith's own establishment near the edge of the village. A pillar of smoke left his house, an indication that he was hard at work. There, Matsu used most of his money to get himself the rest of his clothing.

Feeling much better, Matsu played with the idea of going back to meet up with Rikuto wherever it was that she had gone but decided it would be best to begin getting back into shape. Finding the Academy in a few moments, Matsu turned heel and began walking down the main road to the Academy that was closer to the center of the village. There, he would gather Taijutsu scrolls and maybe begin training again.

Fuji having ran as fast as she could was standing now in a crowded street as she looked around and even behind her. "Did I lose that guy?" she asked herself as she seemed to be panting and had her right hand on her chest. "Why must it by a strange guy like that.." she asked herself as she sighed and began to walk a normal pace feeling she hand lost him.

Zain had stopped at a flower shop, it was hard enough to find one and he had lost sight of the beauty by letting her get ahead of him. He stood ontop of a roof and spotted her, she was simply too beautiful to not spot. He jumped down behind her and tapped her shoulder. "I've never seen a lady run so fast! Err I got you a flower, girls like those right?" He held the flower in his hand and smiled, he didn't have time to fix his hair ponytail so it was a bit of a mess and made him look a bit older than 20.

Fuji felt a tap and a voice she heard before. Right away she seemed to blush and get a chill at the same time. "Back off!" she shouted. Without hesitating she turned to face him and began to do a series of backwards flips and such. When she stopped she was about [5] yards from him. People in the street around them began to clap as if it was some type of act. "You do know who I am....I;m the former Yukikage...." she said as she than saw him with flowers. She looked at the flowers than him and than his last statement about girls liking flowers. "Well...I.....er...they are lovely" she couldn't answer correctly. The flowers were indeed pretty.

Fuji quickly shock her head and got the thought of a date with him out of her head. "Please do not follow me!" she said as she pulled a smoke bomb out and throw it on the ground. It exploded in a cloud of smoke and Fuji ran the opposite way away from the man. "Damn he is so persistent ..." she said to herself as she was running down the street as people clapped still thinking it was a side show of some sort.

Jae walked the streets, her footing careful as she picked her way over the slick ground. Before she had been able to trek without worry but she wasn't used to the ice anymore. It would be embarrassing if she slipped. Not only because she was slipping but because she used to be a Yukigakure-ian. Letting out a sigh, she walked the streets, taking the place in around her. It was not as empty as before, the population having increased in the time she had been gone. Hugging herself she marveled at the simple beauty of the architecture. How she missed this place. Pausing slightly, she recalled a store she had liked going to in her younger days and decided to seek it out. Her head snapped to and fro as she scanned the different stores, praying that the place was still around. Unfortunately, after walking the whole strip she came up short. It saddened her somewhat to find the store was no longer around. She wanted to buy something to take home with her. Maybe it was for the best she didn't. Being here was making her reminisce. If she stayed here any longer than necessary she would not want to leave and she knew that the reality of that was not possible. She had to go back. One her way she stopped by a place where they sold flowers, the type that withstood the frozen tundra that they were surrounded by. A soft scent wafted from them, reminding Jae of her mother. Letting out another soft sigh, her breath trailed out in a little smoky puff. She watched it disappear before heading out to the river. It seemed she was sighing a lot now a days.

Lynx was somewhat taken aback by his own disinterest, feeling less in touch with things as they walked in a changing setting. It seemed they had taken it upon themselves to perform lesser duties; Lynx was grim, walking at a bored pace with the Doctor and keeping his thoughts to himself. At the very least, he needed something to do; if they found the girl while taking their rounds, it was practically dinner and a show. Either way, the streets were perhaps among the unwisest place to start.

It was colder than usual, stretching winds pushed small, loose piles of snow into the air gently. Lynx was fairly enduring of the environment, more hot blooded than most to say the least. The streets were coated in sheering ice, more intimidating under feet wrapped only in bandaged cloth.

He glanced at the Doctor, casually before speaking. Lynx couldn't see the face behind the mask at all; for all he knew, Cain could be sleepwalking. "Nobody is even out here..." Lynx spoke, discouraged, "We're patrolling snowbanks."

Kiya had been walking the street allies when she heard a familiar voice. Stealthily going forwards, she waited until they passed, then, "Why hello." She cooed, stepping out of the shadows she snickered. "And what are you finE men up to today?" She asked. Bain growled menacingly low. "Oh hush." Kiya said. "You just ate." With another snicker, she strode towards them.

The Doctor walked along over the sleek surface of a lesser used street making the swiftest way towards the training fields. Cain had already made his assumption of where the spy might be and the first stop is to return to where they first saw them. "It does seem rather underpopulated, perhaps there are fewer stores here..." The Doctor held a casual stride as he made his way through the streets.

As he hastily made his way down the street Dr. Cain drew from his side pocket a small scroll. With a simple draw the contents were revealed and studied over. "I expect we will be facing a powerful enemy, we should be sure to be prepared." The scratchy electronic voice gave its simple tone, but his thoughts were quickly distracted as he heard a voice that happened to catch his memory. The stretching beak turned to look over to the girl once more as well as he canine. "Oh... well hello there." Cain had truthfully not expected to see this girl again.

"Your dog does not seem fond of us..." The pauses were eerily silent. "We are on patrol keeping watch for any trouble... I believe we will be continuing on, we have an appointment to make." The Doctor did not stop his pace though he did not seem to be in a true hurry. He truly was apathetic if the girl was to follow she could fall into plans and if not she might be lost. It was truly her decision, her risk.

 

[Lovecrafty]

Lynx was on the brink of responding to the Doctor; but he smelled an oh-so-familiar scent just a second before hearing the voice that accompanied it. He was so hungry... It wasn't going to be long before he would snap, so in that moment he began judging odds. The girl was young, but the animal was large, and Lynx assumed a deep connection between the two. They shared a similar smell, an immediate giveaway for most animals. Lynx smelled like blood.

He first looked at the Doctor, impatient at the lack of violent response from him. Lynx laughed a little, his voice as sharp as ever. "There's gotta be some kind of curfew I can enforce here, right?" Lynx said, not so much asking as saying. His attention quickly turned towards the girl, responding specifically to her last remark.

"Listen. Your dog may have just eaten," He said, softly but with underlying fury, "..-But I have not. Normally I wouldn't settle for pooch, but I'm getting a bit light headed. I'd hate for you to become the two-for-one deal that makes my afternoon." He, in truth, wanted no other outcome than that. The only problem with that was the likelihood that he would immediately go back to prison. The sentiment was not one that marked his imagination as a kind one.

Kiya snickered. "I could give you some left over meat we just took, but, I have a better idea." She hissed, she then went on. "Why don't we spar for it? Hmm? If you beat me, I'll..." Kiya's voice tailed off slightly as she thought of something. "Oh! I'll hunt for you." She said sadistically. "I'll be at your beck and call for as long as you need me... But-" She added in a sharp tone. "If I win, you train me." A dark look passed over her face as she finished what she was saying. "Common," She chuckled, "A servant of the sorts if you win against little 'ol me." She cooed. "Or train me for as long as I need in order to achieve my goals." with that she looked up to glare at the pair, taking a fighting stance as she prepared for is answer. "Oh, and, the whole servant thing, it also includes helping out big time to find the person you're looking for." She added as she caught a glimpse of the parchment to beaked doctor was reading.

The Doctor's pace fell lighter as he listened to the two talk, he was nearly ready to remind Lynx of the consequences but it seemed the girl had some confidence. None the less the Docter was somewhat taken aback by the offer. He was not truthfully and experienced fighter but he had proved well enough as he trained. "Well, I suppose a helping hand wouldn't be too terrible... but we shall not fight here..." The Doctor turned once more and made his way towards the fields. "We will begin out on the training grounds, I'm sure none of us wish to pay for property damages..." The Doctor strode through the streets making a quick exit to the vast desert of snow with one enormous tree.
