     Oh yes, Neopets had forums. Though you had to be 13+ to use them or have your parents fax in some form. Faxed in form was what I had done.
That was when I used to suck so bad as well...
But the topics always moved pretty quickly and threads died off in hours time. So you didn't get bored away. Perfect for someone of my age at that time.
Then I moved onto a forum hosted by invisionfree and got off the * *

After that, occasional Gaia roleplay.

I RP waaay to much. I think I may be addicted to it or something. That's kind of why I decided if I did not get into SCAD for Game Design then I was going to go to Armstrong or GSU for Creative Writing instead.

Now I'm just kind of lazy. Hard to find a really good RP these days.
A good one that doesn't have you writing a chapter of a book every post heh.

I know what you mean. The good rpers are starting to expect a lot more out of a post. It really adds to the experience when you have a lot of description but god do I hate writing that much all the time. I mean I can write like that but I have to keep going, if I stop I get distracted and don't want to anymore.

     Oh yes, and that is why I get quite lazy with RPs. Lengthy posts that might have no real content and just lengthy to meet the requirements. Tends to happen after a while, especially when an RP loses steam and purpose. I don't mind typing up a bit, but my attention span starts to wane after a while because of all that. That is why I sort of miss the rapid RPs of past... They were quick to go and when they died down they died. No topic lasted more than a day unless there was enough people to keep it going through the night.
Of course, slow paced RPs are good too since then you don't get left out when you have to go do something but there is more chance for it to die out as people get less motivated in replying.

Hard to find a good RP I say...
Though I haven't tried in a while. So many school ones and vampires and slaves and such.

Hehe I made my own RP once. Have it all set up and everything in Microsoft Word. Just never go the time to post it and get into it and now I'm not really in the RP mood so much. Course I'll try to participate in yours.
Just have to go through the process of visualizing and creating a character... such a pain sometimes xD

The faster paced RP's certainly get you more excited and hold onto your attention because you have to constantly stay active lest you want to get left out and I generally like that for the more action packed RP's but I enjoy a few slower paced RP's that let me really think through things.

And it is hard to find a good RP. There ARE way too many vampire based ones and things like married and slave crap. I've been seeking out anything with War in the title and stuff like that. Lol

I've become pretty quick at making characters but I think that's because I have so many different ones stored away inside my head. The slowest part for me is making up a bio only because I want it to blend well with the RP that I am getting in to.

     Yeah... darn lack of good RPs...
The solution? Make your own! But that is a lot of work...

Hmm making characters is slower for me only because I care to think things through and don't go for the overplayed back stories and such. Do have characters saved on a folder in my computer for some usage (bits here and there) but meh.

I'm in a RP guild right now, and the only active RP is mine because apparently everyone except for me and two other people decided to randomly become inactive. Of course, in my RP I'm not too concerned with length as I am with actual spelling/grammar.
