@Sentida: I'm pretty sure that it's too little as well, but to be honest, I'm not sure what I should eat. I mean, it's not a good idea for me to empty out the cookie box, but I can't see myself eating tons of carrots to gain those extra calories.

Apparently, my BMR is about 1500 calories. gonk

@Anbaachan: Well, 1200 calories is on a good day. Usually, I end up slipping and eating a few cookies, but that still isn't good for me.

I actually eat green beans and eggs pretty often, so I do get a good amount of protein. Can't say I'm a big fan of tofu either; in fact, I'd much rather eat beef than tofu.

Thanks! I happen to like the taste of most fruits and veggies, so I'm pretty lucky there. c:

12/22/2009!

I just discovered that the gym I usually go to is closed both Christmas and Boxing Day, but I suppose that's to be expected. It's also closed for most of Christmas Eve, so if I wake up early enough, I just might make it to the gym.

Onto the eating schedule of today:

- About 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal + milk
- Dim Sum for lunch (a variety of small dishes) + about 2 cups of black tea
- A bowl of fruit (about 2 cups)
- Dinner was rice + stir-fried veggies + 1 cup of orange juice

I managed to get to the gym today, and was on the treadmill for 18 minutes, the cross-trainer for 15 minutes and then I did about 10 minutes of stretching.

It's two days until Christmas guys! I just finished buying stuff for my brother and sister, so I should be good. c: On a side note, it's freezing cold in this house! Why?! gonk

Onto what I've eaten today:

- One whole wheat bagel + light strawberry cream cheese + 1/2 cup of milk (I was starving this morning! Maybe my period has something to do with it? )

I'll add more when I eat more. c:

Merry Christmas~! I'm super happy right now, I just got the Hetalia 2010 calender and DDR Universe 3. I've been playing DDR until my dad told me to stop jumping because he was going to move it into the basement. ;_; Still, I'll get to play it again soon! c:

As for the food that I've eaten today:

- About 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal + milk
- Two slices of whole wheat bread with margarine + 1/2 cup of milk

Nothing else yet, but I've been craving chocolate, so if I find some, I'll eat it for sure. It's Christmas after all. c:

LATER:

I found some Smarties! They're not Reeses Peanut Butter cups or Kit Kat bars, but they'll do. Needless to say, I ate them. c: I also ate:

- About 3 cups of fruit
- 1/2 cup of white rice + veggies + potatoes + about 1 cup of orange juice

Boxing Day shopping! Hurray! I bought myself a new pair of shoes, three dress shirts, a plaid shirt and a bunch of little things from Claire's! At least all that walking around must have been good for me. c:

Today I ate:

- About 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal + milk
- A roast beef 6" sandwich from Subway
- A bowl of fruit (about three cups)
- A plate of spaghetti (about 2 cups) + scalloped potatoes

I also got DDR for Christmas, so I've managed to do a little exercise while the gym is closed! c: Hurray!

So I've got a ton of homework to do, and I may as well do it today. Might hit the gym, if I have time, but if not, I'll do it tomorrow!

So, for what I've eaten today:

- About 1/2 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal + 1/2 All Bran cereal + milk + baby carrots
- A little bit of scalloped potatoes (they were kind of bland >.< wink
- About 2 cups of spaghetti

I'll update as my day goes on. c:

LATER:

- A bowl of fruit (about 3 cups)
- One Lindt chocolate truffle (they are so good <3)
- A ham and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread + about 1 cup tomato soup + pasta

It's three days before the new year! I've got to get cracking and nail this homework before I get back. They aren't due the day I get back, but I'd rather have them out of the way, so I won't have to do them later! c:

On the bright side, my leg doesn't hurt anymore, so I should be able to go to the gym today! Hurray!

Today I've eaten:

- About 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal + milk + baby carrots
- One blueberry bagel with cream cheese + yogurt
- A bowl of fruit (about 3 cups)
- One piece of chocolate
- About 1 cup of rice + green beans + chicken

Okay! So today I went out with my friend to Pacific Mall (local Asian mall) and didn't actually buy very much, but I still had a good time. And I did lots of walking, so it worked out. c:

Overall, I ate:

- About 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats cereal
- About 1/2 cup of baby carrots
- A ham and cheese sandwich on whole grain toast
- A bunch of mini... waffle things. No idea what they are in English.
- Some frozen yogurt + fruit

I haven't eaten dinner yet, I'll update when I do. c:

Okay so, dinner was:

- About 1/2 cup white rice + potatoes + broccoli

And then after I ate:

- About 2 cups of fruit. I get this feeling I ate a bit too much today.

Hello, I'm star. <3 I read the first page-ish of your journal and I really like the goals you've set for yourself. I'm a total carbivore too and I don't eat as many fruits/veggies as I should. :c I'm working on it though! Also we have the same goal weight. c:
I noticed you eat all-bran, is it the original pellet-looking ones? 'Cause I used to eat that, then switched to Fiber One (I like the original best). It's like 51% of the fiber but it tastes much better (to me) so you might want to give it a try. I'm glad I'm not the only one in here munching on it, either, because it's good for you. :]

Thanks! According to the 'internet', the average teen around my height should weight about 116-125 pounds. I want to not only be healthy, but look good as well (which would make me less terrified of trying on new clothes).
Ahaha, carbs are amazing aren't they? I just happen to love the taste of carb foods. It's not like I don't like veggies, after all, bok choy has got to be one of the tastiest foods out there; it's just that I don't like them raw, minus carrots, tomatoes and celery sticks. As you've probably noticed, I have an extreme lack of 'salad' in my diet for this reason. I rather dislike raw veggies covered in dressing.
Um, it's not that kind of All-Bran, it's the kind in the small, stick-like form? I actually find them quite tasty, but I've tried Fiber One, and that's really good too.

12/31/2009!

It's New Year's Eve! I probably won't get fat because 1) I've finally gotten below 140 pounds and I don't want to go back and 2) my family doesn't celebrate regular New Year's, so there's no giant alcohol drinking party thing for me! c:

Hmmm, I should make New Year's resolutions though. Lets see, this year I want to:

- Get down to about 116 pounds and go to the beach in a bikini. c:
- Start my web-manga already!
- Put off procrastination and get my life organized. Time management is going to be everything in university.

That's basically it. I know I can do it, but it's up to my willpower to actually get it done. If I can say 'no' to chocolate chip cookies, I can do this!

I did get to the gym! I ran on the treadmill for about 18 minutes, used the cross-trainer for about 20 minutes, did about 40 minutes of weight training and about 15 minutes of stretching. I feel good. c:

- A bowl of fruit (about 2 cups)
- A slice of whole grain toast + butter
- About 7 cashews
- One Lindt chocolate truffle
- About 1 cup white rice + bok choy + cucumbers + a glass of milk
