Don't forget about Norse mythology and Japanese (Asian in general actually) mythology!

Japanese-
Sushi (or sushi shaped items)
etc.
(I'm currently researching other things on Japanese mythology)

Norse:
Hammer shaped (along w/thunder and such): Thor's hammer
etc
(theres a lot more of other things, I just have to refresh my memory)

These are just other suggestions, they don't have to be neccesssarily used at all. 3nodding

I like the idea of a Greek Mythology Ball it would be amazing. In greek times, the greeks loved to wear gold. They also loved bright colors.
Then again I also like the Norse Mythology and Asian mythology because of the way my family but the thing is it reminds me to much of the summer.
I believe that we should have the theme as Greek Mythology.

Maybe to raise money we could come up with a couple of items and say for every 10 gold you donate you could get such and such as a prize that way more people would be willing to donate for such an item and because they dont know what it is..more people would want it.

I has question....
How do you have an online bakesale? sweatdrop never done one before...
and how do we come up with items? kinda confuzzled....
anyway since the theme is Greek Mythology there should be lot's of bright colors like Elemental said. Maybe I can add something else once I know what a bakesale is :
edit: oh and...(brain block D: one sec....) oh ya...we could have an art shop where people can buy art that has our theme with it to get ready for the ball. Like when we get into more what the rooms will look like someone can draw their avi in the room, or something.

The items are pixels, and since its a bakesale shop that means they revolve around things you would find at a bake sale. cakes cookies, cupcaks, the sorts.

And the bakesale idea was made before the mythology was pegged down onto one mythology. Also, I figured give it many different regions of mythology because we don't want to give away the theme of the ball until it gets closer, hence more than one mythology.

anywho with the pixels, we are getting artist to draw them and scan them or draw them on the computer, we save them into jpeg, png,gif files and put a price on them and sell them.

Those are great ideas lol i don't know what half of them are but the theme is going to be Greek mythology-.- ;maybe you can come up with some more good ideas lol this is all i have for the moment:

Every bakesale needs pie; so maybe pomegranate pie? food of the gods *yum yum*

maybe we could have moon cakes for Artemis (hah Chinese with Greek take that!)
you can always peg Apollo with a sun cookie if you need to

And Hades should have an invisible cookie wink (easy to pull that one off)
