I turned on Fuse one day & it was in the middle of the video for I'm Not Ok (I Promise), which I had never seen before. So I'm sitting there thinking "Wow, I wanna see this movie! The singer is adorable.". Then at the end it was like "My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise) - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" & I was mad that it wasn't a movie. So for like a week I wouldn't watch it, then was like "Hey, it still a cool song." So I've been hooked since.
Now I plan to go on a quest to find their first CD ^^

And yeah, I love it how it looks a lot like a movie; even if the song is a bit overplayed the video is still cool. If you're having trouble finding there first CD, move over here to California, cuz our FYE music store now has 5 copies of Bullets in stock. 3nodding

My story's actually kinda funny...I follow the falsh and game updates on www.albinoblacksheep.com, and the "sweet revenge" game was on there. So I played it, and was fond of the crppy midi music on it, so I searched out the band, and fell in love.

I heard of them on fuse. I was all 'Hey.. who's this? Interesting video. Good guitarness, cute members. Hm...' And then I looked into their stuff, and got my dad to buy me their CD. Attached to it ever since.

My ex-boyfriend. He heard about them somehow back when they were still -sorta- small. He had the first CD and had me listen to it in his car everyday because he got tickets to go to their show.
I got hooked, went to their show (there was only 800 people there are the most), and have loved them ever since.
Because my ex-boyfriend had the CD, I never bought it myself. We're (clearly) not together anymore and broke up around the time the new CD came out. So, I bought that one and just downloaded most of the songs from the "I Brought My Bullets..."
I -will- actually get the first CD though... I swear it!

I read about them in Kerrang! then I heard Thankyou For The Venom on a K! compilation and I thought it rocked, then ages later I found a link for their My Space page and listened to some of their other songs. I basically became obbsesed overnight. I found some vids then I bought Three Cheers.

A friend of mine loaned me Three Cheers and I ripped a few of the songs onto my computer. I didn't really get into it until he kept going on their site and watching the Helena video whenever he came to my house. The song sounded cool to me, so I actually listened to the songs I'd ripped, and wound up really liking them. I started listening to those songs (it was only the first four tracks) so much that I had to buy the album so I could listen to all of the songs obsessively. I'm lucky that my friends are getting into them right now too, so we can all share the MCR love.
