Unlike most here by the looks of it, I like the song. I mean, really like it. I like them just a smidge less then Panic! at the Disco. And I have always liked Ryan's voice as much as Brendon's, so Brendon not singing didn't bug me too much. I just went blank on what I was going to say...but I found this funny, it's from their twitter's:

Personally, I'm a bit conflicted about the new song/project. At First, I was very excited to hear that they were separating, because i though it was apparent on Pretty. Odd. that the band members were pulling in different directions.
At first, I was more excited about the Ryan/Jon band. Plus, I think Ryan is brilliant for his songwriting skills. When I heard the new song, I was kind of disappointed. I thought it was a good song, but the producing wasn't that great. I thought it sounded pretty tin-y, even though good speakers.
I was more impressed by New Perspective, to be honest.

However, I can't wait to see what's next!

Maybe the sound quality wasn't so good because they were trying to imitate the sound quality from the 60's? That would be taking their 60's inspiration a bit far I think. "Change" isn't that bad of a song in my opinion, but I think they could do better, so I'm looking forward to more songs from them too...better songs, hopefully.

Ever thought that maybe you're not going to get the best sound if you're not recording in a studio?
Keep in mind these guys aren't even signed yet. And I'm sure this is just a demo so we can get a taste of what their plans are.
