no one in my area likes ska, mostly country and stuffso the worldwide ones that i can name and everyone knows one, maybe once i get a bass, i can find some ska friends and start a band

One of our local bands, The No Name Charlies, played Ska Is Dead when it came to NY in our leetle suburb.

I don't know what they are but Johnny Giovanni and the Zombie Pit Crew is a fun time. http://www.johnnygandthezpc.cjb.net/

west coast dosn't seem to have that much local ska bands. sort of a shame. i havent seen any consert notices in the city i live in. it makes me sad.

Even in Texas, there is little ska and we are on the border. I was introduced by my freind who lives accross the street from me, she came from Chile.

If it wern't for her I'd never know about it. Now I love it!

ive basically only heard stuff from the more well known bands, but there are a few local bands around here that sound good. ive never gone to their shows cuz i can never find out when or where they are. one is called Hired Geeks, and the other, i believe, is called Crab Sword
