I feel in love with the character WAY before the cards came out while watching the Japanese version (love the voice).
Loving the character forced me to make a deck of my own.
0 ATK, 0 DEF, and ALL my friends say it has an annoying effect, coming up stronger and stronger after death by effect and taking NO battle damage.
And by time you kill the last one, I would have had another one already on the field that I would have waiting for you and about to be destroyed by my own hands to start the cycle ALL over again.
There is also something strong about FORCING people to attack you with cards like Battle Mania and such, an then SMACKING them in the face and telling them "NO! This is what you tried to do to me. Bad boy. Bad."

Good voice over and love for the card is why Yubel is simply a strong card to me.
(And, I know all about Yubel, so being a what he/she is comes to me as no surprise.)
