Cursed Love

Rina looked out the window, completely shocked. She knew she should stay out of this, otherwise the person might get hurt even more but instead she ran outside as other people stood in their spots and a few called the hospital. Rina saw Xavier's car, which almost made her fall into a panic attack. Without thinking she ran to the driver's side of the car and opened the door. "Please tell me you're still alive." she slowly brought her hands to his face.

Xavier's head had a bit of blood running down it, a small cut across his forehead, but nothing serious. He was out cold, but breathing steadily. The other person's neck had broken, causing them to die instantly.

The sirens got louder as the ambulance got closer. It took her a second to realize that he was out cold so she slowly backed away. Rina took her aporn off, standing a few feet away from him. A nurse pushed her out of the way but she couldn't even hear what she had told her. She turned around and walked home. She could never get any closer to him again though it killed her to cause him pain as well but she guess he wanted to keep his life. They took him and the other person away to the hospital.

Xavier woke in a hospital room, looking around slightly nervously, what had happened? All he remembered was getting t-boned by a drunk driver, he looked up as a nurse walked in. He zoned her out until she told him that he could leave. She had mentioned Rina, so he was going to see her. Xavier walked to Rina's house, hoping that she was home, he really needed to talk to her.

Rina was sitting on her couch, wiping away a few tears. She really hated how her life had changed and how she never knew what was going to happen to the ones she cared about. Of course the one thing she knew was that it was always something bad. Her apron was lying right next to her, they had let her go him since they realized that the person that had been in the car accident was someone she knew.

Xavier walked up to the door and knocked, his hair plastered to his face due to the rain. His bandage was barely visible under the heap of hair and he looked sad. He just waited for her impatiently, hoping that she'd answer.

As soon as she heard the knock, she got up and walked over to the door. Rina wiped away the last tear before opening the door, wondering who was there. "Oh...hey." she wasn't expecting to see Xavier there.

Xavier looked at Rina, silently begging her to let him in, the water dripping from his hair. "Thanks for alerting them to where I was.." He murmured, just giving her a weak smile.

"Anyone else would of done the same." she looked down. "Would you like to come in?" Rina asked moving out of the way just in case he did. She looked back at him then as it kept raining.

Xavier did his best to dry off as he slowly came in, making sure not to get mud anywhere. He took off his shoes instantly and put them on the porch, to keep the mud off of her carpet. "Thanks..." He replied, turning around to face her. He could easily buy a new car with all the money that he had saved up. "Do you have a computer that I could use..?" He asked, wanting to buy a new car.

She stood there for a second, it was a weird question and not one she had been asked in a while. "Yeah. Follow me." she led him into the hallway and opened a door to one of the rooms. Rina walked in, this was her small office. It wasn't exactly the neatest place but she knew where everything was. She picked up a pile of papers showing him were her laptop was. Setting the papers aside, she looked back at him.

"Does it have internet..? I'm gonna buy myself a new car.. Mine's a bit.. Messed up." Xavier replied, staring at her. He took a brief look around the room, just observing it then he looked back at her. He sat down in her desk and took off his soaking wet jacket, setting it on the floor beside him. His shirt wasn't too wet, but it was still wet. He waited for her to say something, just wondering if she was angry with him for being here.

She nodded her head. "Do you want a towel?" she asked since he was soaking wet and he could dry his hair with it. Rina looked back at him, waiting for him to answer.

Xavier nodded and began searching for his newest car, wanting something simple this time. His head hurt a bit but he ignored the pain, just looking for a decent car.

She left for a few minutes and came back with a towel handing it to him. She looked over at the laptop's screen for a second, wondering what he was getting. Rina began to leave, guessing that he probably wanted to be alone.
