Edit: Ooooh I recognize it now. It's from that one. The Happy Day troll. Error likes her a lot too.

I don't really see the appeal... >.>
Insane comedy relief? She gets to vent for some of us. sweatdrop

I guess.

Maybe it's my long breaks from the ED that make her less of a necessary thing to me?

I'd bet if I stayed around more often my anger levels would be a lot higher. x_x

Money is evil, filthy stuff that should never have anything to do with religion- after all, it isn't like clergy need to eat or anything.
oh, yes. what a horrid thing that one gets something of value for one's time and energy that one can then trade for something of equal value...yes, because those of us that deal in non-material trade should learn a damn system that has physical aspects to use to barter and trade.

point me to the nearest barter market! where'd i put those chickens?

*headdesk*

why is it an assumed aspect of so many that the material is "teh ebull!" ?

When it comes to paying pagan clergy? Blame Gardner.

I can't remember the precise wording, so I may be paraphrasing but the Ardaines say something to the tune of "Do not accept money for the Craft for money sullies".

My personal tradition and ethics have no issue with the idea.

Actually I wonder. You do have a slightly sadistic streak sometimes.

Same here. If you earn money there is nothing wrong with accepting what you earn.

If it were me, I would tell you, but in all honesty, she isn't. I am utterly clueless as to whom exactly she is.

Hell, sometimes my tradition demands I accept payment for such things. It completes the dynamic and severs unwanted entanglements.

it would make sense in a good number of traditions that hearken to Indo-European cultures, now that i think about it. give and take, with both sides being equal in importance.

That is true. You would tell me right away.

You'd probably be giggling and fidgeting to tell me if you knew who it was. *grins*

Considering I actually enter into barter agreements with many Essences and Aspects, thinking that due compensation for services rendered is immoral would be really hypocritical and nonsensical for me.

Nothing is for free in my world.

She knows us too well . . . should we be concerned?
Hush, and no, unless we're gambling against her, in which case we might be in a bad spot.
