Jevan R. H. Divinitive Elementvampire Jevan R. H. Divinitive Pent and Ten nope, even if they did both to put that thing on a disk, it's still just on the computer it's more like the duelist kingdom kinda thing And what stops anyone from putting the needed hardware and software into a duel disk? I've spoken to someone about this before and how it is completely possible for someone to do this. As we have seen people have fiured it out as I predicted. It is completely possible for all of the technology they were using to by put into a duel disk (a revised duel disk anyway) and work over a wireless connection. It would of course be easier to make a mat system with a screen but if the research and testing is done we could see next years champions duelling with duel disks, with the duel displayed for all on a large screen. Anyone who doesn't believe this technology can be minimised doesn't own any portable gaming consoles. I agree with u it is possible to put it on a duel disk, but the question is this will they? Not until they think it will make money. They know it will make money.but do they really want to make it happen(think of all the stuff that can happen to make the world a better place but will people do such a thing?)no they don't they want people to think it can't happen when they know it could happen.

It would make some money but there's also the costs of design, build, tests and so on. They need to know that they will make a good profit. If the profit isn't big enough they won't bother.

Personally I hope they use this system at tournaments such as Regionals or Nationals for three reasons:
1-The Player's Duels can be automatically updated to the Judge's Table. Personally I don't like having to go around a bunch of people just to go and say "Hey, I won/lost at table X". A system like this would save players the trouble, and it prevents anyone from lying about how the game went down.
2-Letting other players watch your game. There are some People that I'd like to see Duel, but can't. If their duels were broadcast over the internet live then I could see a friend or favorite player duel even if I'm stuck at home or work.
3-Reviewing the game online. This one kind of follows the last one. Being able to chat and comment on the duel as it's happening. Granted the players wouldn't see it going on, but players watching could discuss the moves.

Thats super cool
as for the hologram thing thats way off but they could do something similar to the way the game The Eye of Judgement's creatures appear on the screen.they could use it on computers instead of a tv.

YDN (Yugioh Duel Network) anyone? It'd be like our own sports channel!

Hmm... this comment made by the video poster kind of makes me twitchy: no new Yugioh cards will need to be collected, but you will need to get new cards to slide into the sleeeves which basically doubles the thickness of the card and essentially act as an ID card....I will plan to make these cards available in packs to purchase if this invention succeeds.
So if we need to buy new cards to put in the sleeves, we pretty much have to rebuy and rebuild our decks, what about this: You know those little numbers in the lower left corner of the cards that you punch in to upload a card to a Yu-Gi-Oh game? What if the maching just read that? Yeah it'd need to be face down, and then face down monsters face up, but it would show up right on the screen. Just spitballing ideas...

Firstly there are cards without the number at the bottom of the card, about 5 I think, and secondly the machine could be build to read the picture of the card so our existing cards would be fine.

I couldn't see them using this technology in Nations ect, not unless the noise was reduced, also the size. With a constant buzzing, the losing player will blame his loos on the distraction of the noise.
As for producing these things, again wouldn't happen. The technology must be worth alot of cash, and without a major profit to be made, no company would produce them. Even if they did, can you imagine how much these things would cost?
