Becoming Chloe ((TeHsChNoZbErRy))

Chloe sat silently. Watching the previews then the intro to the movie. She sighed, leaning away from him slightly, her head resting on her hand. She yawned, closing her eyes. Her feet were sore and she was kind of tired. 'Why'd I agree to go to a movie' she thought with a grumble.

As the movie ended, he turned to her, "So... wanna go for a drive?" he asked, "I know this nice place."

Chloe yawned and shrugged her shoulders "Why not." She murmered and got to her feet sleepily, falling back onto him a bit. She blushed and quickly got up again and made her way into the aisle.

He smiled, leading her to his car. "Great," he opened the door for her and went to the driver's side.

Chloe smiled and climbed into the passengers side. "So where is this place?" She asked as she buckled her seatbelt and they started off.

"Its just a place with a great view," he replied, driving towards the place. It was a little parking lot on a hill which had a view of the city. "Right... here." he pulled into a spot, putting the car into park.

Chloe nodded and climbed out of the car. She walked over to the edge of the hill with a wonderous sigh. "It's... beautiful." She murmered. The twinkling lights of the city below her made her feel almost inhuman. Like she was watching from above. Like her parents were. Or at least she hoped.

Jordy put an arm around her, "Isn't it?" he smiled, looking at the city.

Chloe sighed and peered at him, raising her eyebrows a bit. She shrugged it off and let him keep his arm around her. "It is." She agreed. "How'd you find this place?" She asked softly.

"I like to drive around, it's a good way to clear my mind," he smiled, glancing at her.

Chloe nodded. "Near my apartment, there's this great big tree. I like to climb it... It makes me feel more connected with my family." She whispered, looking out over the city.

He blinked, looking at her. He looked at his feet, thinking about how he had done all this to get away from his family. "That's nice..." he said softly.

Chloe nodded. "I always like to think they're up in the sky watching out for me. But the things that happen to me... I highly doubt it." She muttered softly, not looking at him as she spoke. "It's just been one disaster after another.. It's upsetting... But I try not to let it get to me." She said calmly, tears welling in her eyes. She just blinked them away.

He hugged her, "Its okay," he whispered, then thought of something. "Would you like to come with me?" he asked.
