I've only seen the earlier seasons for both, i'd say they are both equally enjoyable.

Yu-gi-oh because the original series ACTUALLY ENDS!
Pokemon is kinda getting old.. or Ash is just odd because he releases all the pokemon he has ever catched except for Pikachu who he still didn't let evolve.

Pokemon is for the young ones while Yugi-Oh is for the more mature ones..
