Galad Damodred Priestley Galad Damodred Insofar as morality and ethics, faith can be a wonderful tool of guidance. It's just that people have different ideas about what's right or wrong. Agreed, which really shakes up political debate.Personally, I think a benevolent dictatorship would be best. People are idiots, so get someone in power who is least idiotic of the bunch and make sure s/he takes care of everyone. Heh, it's the 'taking care' that would concern me. xd

I don't know about that. The taking care part. I mean, you look at how it has worked so far? I say we go to an anarchy, no government at all. Just let us all go crazy.

The only reason it hasn't worked is because no dictator has yet been truly benevolent.

Well, I'm in favour of an anarchy so far as the ruler is yet to reappear, but a thearchy with regard to self, so a sort of theautarchy (theo-/the- is the prefix from Greek meaning 'god/deity', auto-/aut- is the prefix from Greek meaning 'self/within'. -archy is the suffix from the Greek meaning 'rule').
Wow, I just got a big sense of deja vu. eek

It's advantagous for us to form collectives.

ryuu_chan Galad Damodred Personally, I think a benevolent dictatorship would be best. People are idiots, so get someone in power who is least idiotic of the bunch and make sure s/he takes care of everyone. I believe we have a communist in our midst... BURN THE WITCH!!! lol Well, the US WAS supposed to be a republic. We just at some point decided that a 'democracy' was the better route and now look at us. The popular vote means nothing, the rich are still in power and the poor are getting poorer. And then we're trying to push OUR failing government on other countries. stare Anyone know how to apply for Canadian citizenship? Well, yes, I am a witch, but no, I'm not a communist. I'm not idealistic enough to believe that communism works. And since when is a benevolent dictatorship communism? Last I checked, a communist state has no government.
Myself, I've always wanted to live in the Scandinavian countries. A free university education and some of the best rock bands on Earth.

If it's socialism you're looking for, just wait until January.

Agree'd. Sadly when they rallied up all the youth to vote Obama, they forgot to teach them about socialism.
