Holes.
Here's an easy one: A fireman is running to get a net under a lady who looks like she might jump off the balcony of her 20 story apartment building. There is nothing below her except a 20 story fall. The fireman is still 100 yards away when she falls and can't nearly get there in time. The woman is not hurt more than a bruise. How is that possible?

Ms. Pac-Man. Give her a quarter, and she'll swallow a LOT of balls. xD
The same five letters can be anagrammed into four different words that fill in the blanks in the sentence to make (somewhat) good sense. What are the missing words?
The farmer with hundreds of _ _ _ _ _ , deeply _ _ _ _ _ about the amount of rainfall, and _ _ _ _ _ around with artificial watering systems when the ground is dry enough to _ _ _ _ _ him about the possibility of crop failure.

Yeah, telephone is wrong on the "You heard me before, yet you hear me again. Then I die until you call me again." riddle. The right answer is "Echo."
When you have me, you feel like sharing me. But, if you do share me, you don’t have me. What am I? -- A Secret.
What is more useful when it is broken?

Certain type of flower in a rhyme. Where have you heard of that in a ring?
I hate riddles.
Telephone should work, too.

Exor Omega Certain type of flower in a rhyme. Where have you heard of that in a ring? I hate riddles. Telephone should work, too. If you hate riddles so much, and yet are so willing to throw your own in, why don't you at least answer the ones of the people before you? Also, what about the old "Roses are red, Violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you" rhyme? That features two flowers, therefor, your riddle has no SINGLE answer, though I find Taxi Mama's answer yet another possibility. As to the reason telephone doesn't work, well.. Telephones don't DIE. The connection does, but not the telephone itself. And the connection doesn't make the noise, it's the sound waves traveling through the transceivers. What grows up and down at the same time? I'm guessing a plant.. Roots go down, branches go up. If seven people meet each other and each shakes hands only once with each of the others, how many handshakes will there have been?
