It's not really racist to think that people should only date within their own race. Its just a preference. It is good though that she at least is willing to meet her brother's wife. Because that I think is where she was venturing into wrong-ness. Family is family. And stating an opinion is perfectly fine but constantly smearing it in someone's face causes problems.

I'm a black girl and I'm married to a Puerto-rican. My family doesn't care. We're all pretty mixed up smile But some people in his family do care. I'm the first person to marry into his family that isnt puerto-rican. But that's okay too. I married him, not his family. And everybody he loves the most, loves me just because being with me makes him happy. My family loves him for the same reason. At the end of the day, thats really all that matters.
