I prefer to be a Red Mage, even though they're aren't the best at one thing and are considered to be 'picky' (to me)....

But that's what's great about them - they train themselves to study all the basic stuff of white and black magic and equip themselves with a rapier or a sword. That's what I want - a sword casting magic! xd

After playing through FFTA2 (so many mages!!) I'd have to say Red Mage. they are always the coolest. I wouldn't focus on anything, and be true to my red roots...

If you're talking specifically FF, then either Red or Summoner. I like healing more but also like the ability to fight. But summons are awesome.
