Can you tell the difference between Asians?

The only thing in which I'm just about 392842389% sure of, is the actual written language. That's pretty easy to tell apart. ;D

There's actually a shopping center with a lot of filipino people near where I live. [you know, how they have small communities with different asian subgroups?] I swear, I thought everyone there was Chinese when I first went there. o wo

you can tell many ways.
hair, way they talk, etc...
Koreans sound a bit like Japanese...i guesss?
Viets have slurs when they talk in their native language.
Chinese and Taiwanese..really..just ask? lol~
Filipino most are tann like Indonesians and Malays but some are pale..just matters where there from and what not.

but language is the easiest way to tell. at least i can tell like 98% of the time. lol~

Hmm, well for me I can basically differentiate people just through instinct?
haha idk its hard to say since everyone is different but there are certain things that can help you figure out what ethnicity that person is such as accents

I can tell the dfference from Japanese asian, flilipino, Vietamense, Etc..


It depends on the language that person speaks and there names, like had this friend that is Vietnamese and his name is Vo witch is only had two letters, and I know this other Vietnamese lady that has only three letters and her name is nuu. And it is the same with other names.

The Surname always gives a hint.

Most of the time, is the language.

But for female, is mostly their look and gesture.

usually by the language, japanese is a bit quieter and a small bit quiter, then chinese. Also the eyes are a help too.

Only sometimes, like if their skin tones are different, or their facial features are slightly different.

Some people mistaked me as Japanese, and then I say something in Chinese. XD

I'm half Filipino and half Irish, but I'm tan tan..especially during cross sountry season when I'm outside a lot. xD;

But anyway. I have the hardest time telling Chinese and Japanese people apart when only looking at them. :/

yep i can tell between chinese japanese and korean
i have been mistaken for korean and japanese several times even though i dont think i look like them lol
i'm really actually chinese...just i'm pretty dark lol
idk how i tell the difference...i just have this feeling...kinda based on instincts i guess lol
and usually i'm right lol
i had practice from watching all cjk dramas lol

Chinese - usually light skinned. Very squinty eyes xD
Korean - Complicated words.
Japanese - usually light skinned. Easy words.
Filipinos - BROWN AND PROUD XD
