Maura was great actress, but she felt as though these two were seeing right through her and Erik's plot. Did they even know Erik was around? Best not to think about him! But how could she not! He simply loved him too much not to! "Oh," she said realizing she had spaced out. "I-I'm Maura! A-and I was just wondering if you could help me!" she said pitifully as she could.

Erik could just barely hear Maura's whiny plea for help. "She's good! No one in our history together-not one-has escaped a charm like Maura's!" he thought. he shifted and cracked a twig with his foot but ignored it, thinking they'd think it was a squirrel or something.

"Well, I was looking for someone very important to me! H-he's my...my boyfriend! He's, you know, kinda tall, short black hair, really cute!" she went on. As she did this, Erik couldn't contain a smile. He stood as slowly as possible so he could make his appearance and reveal their true purpose. But after years of intense training, fighting, and carrying Maura, his knees were damaged. So when he stood from his crouching position, the bones in hs knees made a loud cracking sound to realign themselves. he gave himself away! Dammit!

What do I do to ignore them behind me?
Do I follow my instincts blindly?
Do I hide my pride from these bad dreams
And give in to sad thoughts that are maddening?
Do I let them go and try to stand it?
Or do I try to catch them red handed
Do I trust some and get fooled by phoniness,
Or do I trust nobody and live in loneliness?
Because I can’t hold on when I’m stretched so thin
I make the right moves but I’m lost within
I put on my daily façade but then
I just end up getting hurt again

Dragea sent Kiki a sharp glare, meaning no. She knew her sister's true reasons and besides, she could handle things herself. She was thoroughly annoyed by Erik's comments and gave a slight wince at the loud crack. She wasn't sure if the wince was noticeable, though.

"How do you suppose I could help you find a kid, when you yourself know he's straight behind that tree? Whatever you're really here for, we're not interested..." She stated, rather harshly as she turned and started walking away.

If I turn my back I’m defenseless
And to go blindly seems senseless
If I hide my pride and let it all go on then they’ll
Take from me ‘till everything is gone
If I let them go I’ll be outdone
But if I try to catch them I’ll be outrun
If I’m killed by the questions like a cancer
Then I’ll be buried in the silence of the answer

Kiki chuckled. Her sisters reply was so predictable. "Come now Dragea. Can't we have a little fun with them?"she asked, looking over her shoulder up to her sister. The vet can wait can't it. Freaking them out by...oh I don't know, I talking cat. Would be fun don't you think?

Kiki looked at the girl, and slightly at the boy when his knees cracked. He was work hard for a boy his age to already have acheing bones.

"Well, there's no use in hiding anymore!" he said walking out form behind the tree. "I was doing good until my knees popped!" he sighed looking up at the sky. At this point he was trying to get his words together.

But Maura as she often literally did, beat him to the punch with another stupid choice. "Erik! Oh where have you been, boyfriend?" Maura cried hugging him.

"Boyfriend? What's your problem, girl? We're just friends!" he said with a laugh. 'I swear she has some serious issues!' Erik thought and laughed again.

"Ok! Let's make a deal!" Maura began with a grin. She took a few steps forward and spoke again, "I'll fight you, one on one! No alchemy, just hand to hand! I'm no alchemist!" Her offer was ridiculous in Erik's mind!

So he intervened. "Maura, no! She's way too powerful! Let me fight her! All out alchemy and hand to hand!" Erik said pushing her back.

'First of all, you talking wouldn't freak them out one bit, seeing as how they know how we are. Second of all, the longer you wait, the more shots you may have to get, so no, the vet can't wait' She told her sister, giving her yet another glare.

At this, Dragea spun around in annoyance. She growled as got within five inches of their faces. "I'd like to keep my secret intact from this city! What do you not get about 'I'm not interested?' Lastly, how the ******** would you know how strong I am!?"

((If you don't like my swearing, I'll try not to do it again. I just did it to emphasize her temper.))

Kiki twitched at the thought of more then one shot. For her best interest...they would have to get out of here. "You there, boy!"she said in her purring voice that sliped off her cat tounge like velvit, "We do not have time for this. You best leave...now."she shot Dragea a look that said, "Lets go! I will lay with them later."

Kiki grined, her sharp teeth glinting in the sunlight, "Perhaps we shall play again. When my sister and I are a little less...shall we say...preocupied?"she told them, reveiling her injured paw. It now was puffy and red around the bite mark. It felt like someone was pokeing her with a hundreds of tiny knives. "I sware...if I get rabues((Sp?))..."she said to her sister, her annoyonce clearly shown on her face.

At Kiki's speaking, Dragea sent her a glare. Then, she sent the two kids a warning growl. "For your sake, you better hope we don't cross paths again." She growled, warningly still. She then took by both front legs and held her up by her hind legs. "I've told you before not to speak. Do you want to get caught and tested on?" She muttered angerily, under her breath.

Kiki kicked her back legs as she was picked up in the way her sister always did when she was angry with her. She winked, and stuck her small pink tounge out at her sister. "If they already know, then what's the harm in it? You never let me have any fun..."she siad, mumbling the last part. Kiki looked at her sister with her sliver white eyes, "Are you ashamed of me..."she asked sadly. She knew that Dragea was only trying to protect her, but sometimes it felt like she was almost ashamed to have a sister who was so hyper-active. Not to meation, a cat half the time.

Kiki sighed, turning her head upside down as to look at the two, "I must warn you, my sister has a bit of a temper. It would be best to allow us to leave to get this blasted bite fixed before you see us again.Kiki winked. "And I do hope we met again."

Maura stood up straight up flipped her hair. "Well, I'll only let you go because of the cat! I'd hate to see her get sick and die! Such an unfitting end for such a beautiful creature!" she smiled. But after that, she shot a glare of disgust at Dragea for being so mean to her one true love. She looked to him and said, "Come on Erik! I'm hungry! Let's go eat!"

Erik stood, clenched fists sparking with electricity. "Ok, Dragea, you and your sister go!" he said quietly. "But, we will still cross paths and I will take you head on! I've been through too much to find you to get treated like s**t!" he added raising his voice. He turned and went along with Maura, even though he'd have stayed right there untill they came back.

Again, Dragea shot glares at all three of them. Dragea was about to tell her sister that she wasn't ashamed of her, but Erik's comment pushed her over the top.

"Don't even dare tell me that I'm treating you like s**t! You don't even know how much of a luxury being treated like this is. Have you ever been put through hell and back to the point where you can never put your trust in anyone?! No. I bet you haven't... So, back off!" She growled. At this, she turned and stormed off as that was the final word of their conversation.

Kiki sighed, "You really must watch your temper Dragea. We don't even know what they wanted....Though...there was something off about that young lady. Did you notice her legs?"she asked, not looking at her sister. She didn't really feel like looking, or talking to her sister right now. She just wanted to get the vet over with. she hoped that she would see her young master before the sunset. He had never seen her as a woman, though she wanted nothing more.

Kiki loked off into the distants, the sun would go down in a few hours. "What if...young master isn't here? Who will I play with then..."she said sadly. She didn't say anything more to her sister.

Maura had to literally drag Erik away after Dragea's last comment. She knew Erik would've raised hell and probably attacked her regardless. It wasn't easy pulling him away with him so pumped up for one. Also, we know that her legs aren't as strong as they should be so it was even more of a strain on her. Finally she got far enough and fell to the ground, letting him go.

He stood without a word and picked her up. "Come on, we need to eat! Tracking them down and running after them made me hungry!" he said softening his voice. He truly only wanted to befriend them. To be with others who shared pain like him. But Dragea's words still echoed in his mind as he carried Maura. "To the point where you can never put your trust in anyone...". Wow! That was one point he had never found himself at. Close, but not yet.

Dragea grumbled as she mostly ignored her sister. After what she just said to them, it put her into a sulking depression and for those that knew her, her being like that meant a horrible death for those that bothered her. What had actually made her say something like that, regardless of how true it was? She shook it off, as she finally allowed herself to be calm enough to hold a conversation with her sister.

'I'm sorry. I know traveling with and being related to me must be very taxing on the type of person you are, but you do understand the reason for me being this. Just try and bare with me for at least until we can get somewhere where no one's around. It can't be very fun for you and I'm sorry, but it's the best I can do...' She told her sister, in her thoughts.
