I've been refusing to listen to it.
I think the leak was stupid - I mean we can all wait and it's so much more amazing when it's official. the actual only final one i've listened to is nine in the afternoon. i've listened to live versions of some of the others but that's it.
I feel slightly outraged that people would do that

Well, it IS an official leak. I mean, the band consented to it. So it's not like the songs were actually leaked, they're just being let out early...

The only thing from holding me back from the leak is I got my mom to block it till March 25th. Which isn't that far away from now!
But I want to hear it from the album first though.
It's just that feeling.

i guees, but somehow it just doesn't seem as special. i'd rather wait. i hate it when bands leak stuff anyway, it's just publicity and its really stupid.

I am NOT listening until I can hold the CD in my hands and listen.
IT'S SO DIFFICULT.
At the PATD LJ, some girl found Pretty. Odd. at her local record shop and uploaded what the CD booklet looks like.
So now I'm going to scour every music shop around here.
And pray.
But... I dunno. I think I should wait till March 25th. We all should.

The Leak is publicity... a slightly stupid career move for Panic actually.
Because kids who are into the 'scene' are going to listen and be all "THIS SOUNDS LIKE CLASSIC ROCK I DON'T LIKE IT" (swear to god I've witnessed that in perosn. It's disgusting sad )
Anyway, a LOT of people are not going to like it
and not BUY Pretty. Odd.
only true fans... and new fans (RHYMES!) will. So I dunno.
I hate that Panic's so close to MTV right now.
Weren't THEY the ones against that?

yeah, i actually feel slightly annoyed at Panic cause I swear they were saying they didn't care how many people bought the next album so what's with the whole publicity stunt?

I did that on Monday with the Hush Sound.
And I am so guilty and retarded.
My computer crashed after I listened to it on AOL.

But I think that's what they wanted. Those who truly like their music will buy it. That way those who disliked their new sound won't start complaining and saying "OMG I can't believe I bought this CD" Business wise it was a bad move though.

I'm not against the Leak. I support it. I mean, the sooner I can hear those lovely instruments and voices, the better! I've probably listened through the whole album about five times now, some songs more than others. <3 I love the album, and I love MTV.
