patch99329 Astrox patch99329 (can we make a book list too? Fiction I mean.) 3nodding 3nodding 3nodding *Cheer* Well then, I reccommend 'The famished road- ben okri' It's about an african spirit child (in the book they refer to it as an abiku child, but I know them as obanje's). Who has chosen to stay living on earth. The book is about his life and interactions with the spirits around him who want to take him back home. There's an entire chapter where he goes to the otherworld. Set in the 90's, it's laden with african superstition and folk religion blended with christianity. Everyone go read it now!
Oh.. I thought you meant like a whole new thread...
I know there is a Recommended Reading thread, but the fiction section in the first post is rather small...

bondage bunnie Event Horizon Obscure scifi film Try Critically acclaimed Cult Classic!
Quote: but it does indeed dip into concepts of magic and extra dimensional existence. (gods devils whatever) No It doesn't. At least not in the sense your presenting it.
Quote: On top of all that it has 2 Scientologists and is an all around lame movie. Lame? It's a Freaking fantastic Flick!
