snaksie I'm a DJ and have over 1400 cd's, about 800 records and maybe 200 tapes. I love all kinds of music, except for basically country and gangsta rap. domokun However throughout all of my music that I love and listen to, The Beatles stand alone at the TOP! I like Elvis a lot, but he had more hits simply because he put out and album a year or sometimes 2 in 1 year in the late 50's. The Beatles put out very few albums in comparison. Elvis had 114 songs in the top 40. The Beatles only had 42 in the top 40. But here is the difference between quality and quantity. Out of Elvis's 114 songs, 18 went to Number 1. The Beatles, with only 42 in the Top 40 had 20 NUMBER 1 Songs . eek That is incredible! Almost half of their songs that charted went to the top. If they would have spaced out their songs a little, they would have had more Number 1's. Many times it was their own songs that kept one of their other to hit the top. stressed There is no question they are the best group ever and no group will ever match their creativity, song writing skills and just pure talent in one group! You know what they say though, Paul was the Brains, John was the Heart, George was the Conscience and Ringo was the drummer.
You need to switch Paul and John around. xd
