Aside from that, would you rule out the possibility that a deity is communicating knowledge of the scenario in question?

It is my opinion having tested the experiences I have that the gods are not speaking through these dreams.

I've had a few of these moments.

This winter my Grandma passed away. Two days before she passed away I remember saying how she'll stay alive until one of her grandchildren gets engaged. My cousin announced his engagement the next day and then she passed away.

The first time I saw my girlfriend, I got this feeling that I would know her for a long time (although this feeling didn't suggest romance). We've been together for 2 and a half years now. She said she also felt the same way when she first saw me.

Wow, I sound sappy...
