This is my reply to all the stuff I've seen in this topic.
#1. My parents can't detect Fall Out Boy. Proof: My mom bought me Infinity on High as a late bday present and she's like "Boy?! Your dad would have a fit. (My dad's like super strict on everything, and he was supposed to check the lyrics of that CD but he didn't. Whew. sweatdrop ) Later, American Idol was airing that Verizon Wireless commercial featuring "This Ain't A Scene.." and my parents didn't catch "Fall Out Boy" twice . Also my dad didn't catch "Sugar We're Going Down" at a hockey game we went to. (Even with all the fangirls in the rink singing xp ) My parents don't know about Panic! at the Disco (thank goodness, my dad would have a heart attack over the lyrics) but I told my dad about the band name, since he likes to disco.

#2. "Hey There Delilah" isn't very hard to play, to be honest. I've only played a summer of guitar, and it was an easy song for me. In fact, I even used it to see if my guitar is always in tune (since the melody is easy). And City, use this link for your guitar needs, have fun. wink

#3. My friend's mom thinks Pete Wentz is cute, which I find funny cuz my friend thinks Fall Out Boy is annoying, but loves Panic! xd

I'm not sure what my mom would say to thier lyrics.
I could always reply with "Well Weirdo listens to Green Day and Gorillaz which curse too."
(Weirdo = my little brother.)

My mom tried to read Infinity On High's lyrics but she had to squint her eyes so bad because she couldn't read the font that well, that she quit the "bad lyrics search"
When my mom started saying that she was going to check the lyrics, I started getting nervous so bad like my hands were shaking sweating cold... wahmbulance

Seriously. I don't get how it's even possible.. but the other day, we were watching TV, and she was channel surfing... and she passed TMF and it was a live performance by Fall Out Boy. So I of course was like "stop, go back!" and then after a few seconds she's like "who's that fat guy?" and I was like "MOM SERIOUSLY. Patrick's not fat! surprised " and then she was like "who's Patrick?" and I say "the singer." and she says "yeah, but what band?"

I was like eek gonk
I have a huge FOB poster in my room, my mom was at Decaydance Fest with me, and every time Thnks Fr The Mmrs was on the radio or TV I would turn it up and listen/watch and every time I'd tell her it was Fall Out Boy. So you think by now she'd recognize at least the music, if not them. But nooo.

My mom knows who they are... kinda.

The worst thing my mom ever did was confuse Spencer and Brendon.
I was like "Mother! How could you confuse them?!"
She hasn't confused them since...

My mom doesn't know who either of them are xp
I don't mind though.

I'd rather she not know who they are than have her constantly making fun of them. Or thinking they're "adorable" xp

Haha. xD My mom usually recognizes Fall Out Boy's songs and Panic!'s, and sometimes even Paramore. Other than that, she doesn't recognize any other music of mine. Besides something like "Delilah" which is just overplayed and anyone can recognize that.

And she's heard about 5 FOB songs.

But once she called me and was like "OMG! Turn on the radio now!!!"
I said "Okay mom, why?"
"Panic! At The Disco is on," my mom said.
I started screaming and turned it on and... it was "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs".
"That's Fall Out Boy mom..." I said.
"Oh," my mom replies and hangs up her cell phone.
I was like " scream talk2hand eek xp "
