Raenef from Demon Diary is probably the girliest male character I have ever seen in a manga. When I first read it four years ago, my friend and I actually thought he WAS a girl for a while into the story, but all the "he"s were too frequent to be typos.
Which also kind of freaked us out, because he's so affectionate with another male character, Eclipse, that we thought we were reading yaoi manga by mistake. I wasn't entirely comfortable with BL then.
It wasn't though.
It is not an official shounen-ai manga, but it probably could be. Easily. wink

Oh, I forgot about Reanef. He is pretty adorably girly.

That's Lily Hoshino's art. All of her ukes are that way, not just the one in My Only King. She also did Alone in My King's Harem, which has the same thing of uke boy that looks like a girl, dresses like a girl and acts like a girl. -_- Pretty much all over her ukes get a nomination from me for being girliest uke.


As girly as Shuichi is, he's still very blantantly male. I think he is going to lose this one.

Yea but when you line up Shuichi next to Bridget, Raenef, Jun and any uke drawn by Lily Hoshino... then tell someone who knows nothing of these characters to "pick out the boy" - I'm sure that most would point at Shuichi if we're going by looks alone.
