Amy was a little confused at Katana's comment about Dec. In the past, Kat had never really interacted with Dec when he had been in the bar. Sure, Dec had been polite and charming with her, but from what Amy could remember, that had been just about it. Had Leko cursed Katana, too, into being much happier and kinder? First with Amy and then with Dec? Well, if Leko had, it wasn't a bad curse from what Amy could tell.
"I know what you mean about having fair skin. That's why I, too, usually go in the evening when the sun is just about to set. I also put on SPF 70. The new Banana Boat sunscreen hardly smells bad at all! It's really cool."
She slipped her scarf down slightly, the scarf Thistle had conjured for her weeks ago, to show her green tattoo. "I like doing Henna tattoos. They're not permanent and so much fun to do. I can do something new all the time."

She looked at Amy's tattoo. "Nice....well, I got my dragon tattoo when I was on an extended assignment in Japan years ago. Took awhile to do, so it's a good thing I was there for a few months."
She sips her coffee, "I'll have to keep that sunscreen name in mind, would hate for my dragon to fade."

Amy gasped softly and her eyes widened. "You got it in Japan?! That is so cool... I might even be tempted to get one in Japan if I was there visiting. An ancient, genuine Japanese tattoo... Yeah, that would be something permanent I wouldn't mind having."
Amy went over to the espresso machine, got a cup, and began making a French vanilla cappuccino.
"I also got some beautiful flowers yesterday. I don't know who they are from, though, because there's no name on the tag. It simply says 'Happy Birthday'."
She figured that she should probably mention Karrie's gift, too. With Karrie working here, it might be brought up if someone saw the matching red collar he wore, and then he'd wonder why Amy hadn't mentioned her collar to anyone. She didn't want to hurt him.
"Karrie also made a collar for me. He made it all himself. It's purple with a silver heart on it. He has a matching red one that he wears."

Dec raised his eyebrow and thought, 'Katana is like the only person I've been talking to lately at the MW. Oh yeah, Amy hasn't been around to know that, so I can forgive her for missunderstanding.' He smiled at Amy, "I'm glad you enjoyed your present. Yes, it is from Nepal, even though I picked it up in India."
His eyes drifted over to Katana. God, she was looking hot. He stood up and and slipped behind Katana. He rubbed her shoulders and bend down to kiss the side of her neck. "I'm still thinking about our plans, Kat." He staightened and walked over to get a glass of water.
He walked back and leaned over her to set down his glass. Leaned over as he was he could see straight down her shirt. He lifted her eyes to his and smirked, still leaned over her. "Very nice." he commented.

She closed her eyes when Dec kissed her neck, glad for the jacket covering her since goose bumps prickled her skin when she felt his lips on her. Taking a shaky breath, she watches as he goes to grab some water and then comes back to blatantly stare down her top. Flushing slightly she meets his eyes with a sultry stare, wishing like hell they were alone right now.
Once he was seated next to her again, she sneaked her foot back over to rub his leg every now and then.

Amy finished making her espresso and turned to take it back to a seat on one of the bar stools. When she saw Dec rub her shoulders and then bend down to kiss the side of her neck, she nearly gasped and dropped her cup. Well that was a new development! Since when had Dec and Kat gotten together? When Amy had been interested in Dec, he had told her that he couldn't have something serious with someone because his schedule was too weird and he wasn't around for long periods of time. Well, guess if he had the right motivation and right person to stick around for, he could be persuaded to stay around longer...
God, she was really sick of all this crap that men did. Would it really be so bad if she just decided to remain single the rest of her life and live out her days with Thistle and the owl she had yet to name? She'd probably be a lot happier and stress-free.
She forced a smile on her face for Dec. "Yes, it's beautiful, but I don't think it will go with anything I have. I might not be able to wear it. I'd hate to keep it and just have it collect dust."

Dec raised his eyebrow, "Well I'm sorry that it doesn't match. Guess I'll have to work up my psychic abilities." he chuckled. "Well dont worry about it. You can also hang it as a decoration."
He looked at Kat and smiled. He imagined her lain out on his bed. Satin sheets and leather. His smile got darker.

Amy frowned as she saw Dec flirt and hang all over Kat and Kat soak it all up. Wait, wasn't she with Showcase? Well, maybe something had happened there as well. You know, it was weird. First Dame dumps Karrie, then Ayami doesn't remember Black, and now apparently Kat moved on from Showcase. She wondered if Psyzapp was still with Dougherty or not. Did becoming an MW Lady make it so that you couldn't have a committed relationship? Maybe it was a good thing that she left and stopped trying to become one. She almost felt bad for the ladies.
But she was still upset over what she was seeing. Dec could have simply told her the truth and said that he didn't have interest in Amy when she had thought about possibly being with him. Oh wait. Guess that would send a mixed signal after he had kissed her twice. She really wished now that he had not given her her first kiss. She would have even preferred if it had been Kai to give her her first kiss. Not Dec.
"Well, I use the flowers and plants I grow to decorate my home. If you wish, you can always take the scarf back. You might be able to give it to someone else who would have more use of it..."
She glanced at Kat and then picked up her cup. "I'm sorry to have disturbed you two. I was going to wait for Icy so that Thistle could see her, but I can wait over at the Jade Dragon. Dec, if you want your scarf back, just stop at my house and Thistle can get it for you."
With that, she went into the Jade Dragon.
Thistle had seen her master get upset and had also seen how Dec had been interacting with Kat. That was how she used to see Dec interact with Amy. She thought Amy wanted to be with Karrie, but it still wasn't nice to see Dec interact with another woman like he had with Amy so quickly.
Thistle went up to Dec, frowned at him, which looked funny since she was in a pink tutu, and snorted at him. She lifted up one of her front legs and then hit her hoof on one of his shins.

Dec looked after Amy, "You know I think she's mad at me for some reason..." He thought quietly. "You don't think she could be jealous do you? I mean six month ago she and I had a little fling. I kissed her a couple of times and flirted. But I told her I wasn't interested in getting serious." He looked over at Kat, "Do you think she thinks you and I are dating? That might explain her behavior."
He shrugged, "Well I hope she doesn't take out her anger on that gift. I gave it as a friend."
When Thistle kicked him, Dec looked down sharply. "No Thistle." he said firmly and pushed her away. "Bad girl."

She shrugs, "I really don't care what she thinks, frankly. I'm a grown woman and do as I please." She gets up and goes behind the bar to toss her coffee cup and grabs a Kirin. After opening it, she takes a sip and returns to her seat.
"I thought she was after Karrie anyways, so I don't know why you being in here with me would bother her so much."
A maintenance man enters the bar and approaches Kat, giving her the new keys to her quarters. She thanks him politely and the man exits the bar.
She turns back to Dec, "Well, I'll be leaving tonight, I have to go away on business for a few days, and I really need to pack."
