I'm scared to venture to any bookshop or library, because I'll get loads of books.
I still have to finsh the book I'm currently reading ('The famished road-Ben Okri. It's a brilliant book about a spirit child, I forget what they call it but I know such children as obanjes) and I'm getting the Iliad as a christmas gift from my mother.
I'm not going to bu anything else until the sales wink

patch99329 I'm scared to venture to any bookshop or library, because I'll get loads of books. You probably wont end up as bad as me. I've had my eyes on The Complete Sagas of Icelanders for a few years now, and now that I have money, its growing even more tempting to buy. Of course, retail price is suggested at $498 USD. sad They're great translations too, the library Nuri works at owns all of them.

Haha you're right! I AM no where near as bad as that.
When people ask me what I want for my birthday, christmas or any other holiday I'm either going to request books, or some sort of amazon gift voucher biggrin
-- I've decided that I'm going to put the names of some deities and other divinities in a hat and pull one out each week. I'll dedicate time in that week to do some decent research on the entity in question. It's a practical approach to something I've been doing so impractcally for a long time. xd

PhantomPhoenix0 Is it just me, or is limlynn becoming more annoying then Barry? confused Eh, I'd still take someone spouting Bible verses in every thread over some racist a*****e twisting the Bible and the Catechism to fit his agenda.

I think limlynn and barry are about equal. I've started to have fanstasies about hitting limlynn with a cricket bat.

I love my friends xD They've bought me the cutest stuff for christmas. I got a personalised mug saying 'Emma's perfect tea. Hands off!'
Hehe, I think my obsession with a good cup of tea has been noticed. xD
-- Two of them even signed my cards 'seasons greetings' and 'happy holidays'. I'm not someone who demands this or gets pissed when people wish me a happy christmas. Quite the opposite actually. But the fact thet actually thought about it and made the effort meant that I've never felt so chuffed to recieve a secular greetings card xd
