Tsuku sniffs the air and then, in a suprising burst of energy, bounds over to dame. 'master'smate! Missesd you missed you lots!' He rubs all over dame's legs affectionatly.
Dec frowns for a sec at dame's grin and then memory sets in. He remembered that face; that beautiful blissed out smile after a long marathon of sex. His smile falters a bit as he realises exactly what she and this Flame-guy have most likely been up to. He looks down, guilt and regret tearing into his gut like broken glass. He looks back up at his ex's beautiful face and wonders once more exactly what in the world possessed him enough to cheat on such a wonderful woman.

"My day has been fine, I was just chatting with Dec about his band and whatnot. As for Kaoru, he hasn't been around, but I'm sure he's going to make an appearance sooner or later. And Brat....haven't seen her yet either, but it's early yet."
She sips her drink and sets it down on the bar. "What about your day? Everything okay with you?"

*walks into the bar looking tired, followed by Velcore* Hello, everyone. *seeing Icy behind the bar, takes a seat at the counter to wait for her to move*
*flies up to Dame and lands next to her*

-Dec looks over at Karrie and then back at dame, pretty confused about the situation. Wasn't dame with Karrie? Did he know about Flame?-
Tsuku leaned back slightly and then politely sniffed the dragon. The giant fox and the dragon seemed almost the same size. Master'smate seemed to like the dragon so Tsuku was friendly. As the moon rose, Tsuku's markings and coat darkened and he regained his full size.

*she just nods, not able to form a coherent sentence with her mind constantly filling with questions. When Karrie comes in, she waves to him and comes from behind the counter, taking a seat a couple of stools down from Kat*
Uh, yea. It's been alright, mostly worried but no, uh, no reason for it now...
*shuts her yap and sips her drink, pulling out the throwaway she'd taken from the office. Setting her drink down, she takes it in both hands and literally snaps it in two, letting the pieces fall to the counter. Picking her drink back up, she sips it and tries to think of anything but what her mind was currently on*
Ah, Karrie. Done any good baking lately?

Entering the bar through the front door, he sees dame in conversation with a young man and heads directly to the bar where Kat and Icy are in conversation, along with the young chef. Feeling bold, he takes a seat next to Kat, and smiles at the little group.
"Good evening all.....how is everyone tonight? Ladies, I must say you are looking lovely." He gives Kat a smile, hoping her anger at him has cooled a bit since the other night.

-lets out a breath of relief when Icy doesn't come over and try to kill her. Then she is suddenly bombarded by animals. stressed Will I never get back downstairs? stressed sweatdrop She leans down and pets Tsuku- Hey baby, how have you been, Tsuku? Aww, just as affectionate as ever. ^_^
-busy petting the fox, dame doesn't really notice Karrie walk in but waves when someone says 'Hello.' When she looks back up, suddenly Velcore is right in her face- eek Ack! -startled, she almost falls over. She steadies herself and then pets Velcore with her other hand, while still stroking Tsuku- Hey Velcore, how are you, darlin'?
((Any good baking? rofl Not with dame at least! stressed rofl ))

*allows Dame to pet him, then looks her in the eyes* We need to talk.

*while waiting for an answer from Karrie, Kaoru walks in and sits next to Kat, speaking. Something still not sitting right in regards to him, she gets up, grabbing her drink and bottle, and takes a seat at her abandoned table. She hears Karries answer and sips her drink*
Your nephews, you say? How nice. How long are they here for?
*refills her glass, knowing it's idle chitchat but needing a distraction, any distraction*

Dec took a seat at the bar and just kept quiet. There was a silent tension in the bar and dec was deciding to stay out of it for once.
Tsuku leaned back in shock. 'Velcore-dragon can speak human? How odd.' Tsuku slinks back to Dec and hides in the shadows under his stool.

She turns as Kaoru sits next to her. "Well, you can be sure I didn't dress up for you... rolleyes If you're here to find out anything, we're still at a standstill and need to find out some more information."
"Hey Karrie, how's it going?" she sips her drink and tries to not look in Kaoru's direction, face blushing slightly.

-still a bit distracted, she laughs and pets Velcore again, then kisses him on the head and does the same for Tsuku- Soon, honey. For now I have to bring this food back downstairs. -looks up at Dec- Catch ya later? -stands back and goes to pick up the food-
-she stops in midreach- eek surprised eek -turns back around, staring a bit gaped mouth at Velcore-
... stressed Did...did you just talk? confused neutral Uh...sur...surely not... -shakes her head slightly and grabs the bags and the drinks- Man, I really must need more sleep... -walks off towards the JD- Or to get my head checked... eek sweatdrop

Dec waved at dame, calm smile on his pokerface. He slid down a stool and decided to try to strike up a conversation with Kaoru. "Hi, Kaoru was it? I'm Decorera but please call me Dec, everyone does. I haven't seen you around before but I'll admit to not being here very often." he smiled.

He turns as the young man takes a seat next to him at the bar. "Nice to meet you Dec, I'm new to the bar anyways. You want anything to drink? I think I'm going to grab me something."
Glancing over at Icy, he wonders what's going on with her to just ignore beind spoken to, but he just shrugs his shoulders and gets up to make himself a drink. Once behind the bar, he grabs Kat's near empty glass and refreshes her drink first before pouring himself some vodka in a glass. After setting Kat's drink back in front of her, he leans against the bar, sipping the vodka.
"So, Dec....what's your story? What do you do when you're not here, that is?" He gives him a genial smile.
