What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman's Secretary - Ohayou Productions
Doing what one does best...??
Hiroki made his way to the plane and looked at his watch. He knew Aki was already there but would the mouse have arrived? Curiousity filled the Elephant as security did their last scan and he boarded the plane. Upon arrival, he chose a window seat because Hiroki didn't do well in aisle seats. He actually didn't care for flying as much but discovered that looking out the window usually distracted him if the conversation did not.
He knew Aki was on board the plane but probably talking to the someone. Aki was always so fluid with people. Hiroki sometimes wished he could go back to being just a secretary in the background for the man. He'd have been content to live his life as Aki's shadow in the business. He still was attracted to his boss even now after all these years but it would always be a love unrequited. However, Hiroki was also content to leave things as they were as long as he could remain in Aki's orbit.
However, once the mouse arrived, his more realistic interests activated once more. And he wondered if Nezumi was adjusting to this fast paced world. "I see you made it." Hiroki said as he looked up from his comfortable seat. His head was already finding a cozy spot on a very nice pillow so his nose could drain. Yes, the nose Narcissus broke. Poor Nezumi...
Hiroki had no idea that the mouse would be saddled with Narcissus. If he had he might have had words with Aki about it. Maybe it was best he didn't know before it was too late. Hiroki and Narcissus were definitely the wrong pair to put together for any stretch. Even when Hiroki tried to be reasonable, Narcissus always lit his fuse. They fought like cats, dogs...maybe worse at times. And well for the most part, Hiroki didn't know how it always happened like that. To him, Narcissus was Never reasonable...a brat beyond brats.
"I might sleep most of this flight. I didn't get much the other night. Seems like I can't get a break, except with my nose." he chuckled under his breath then just watched the mouse for few moments rather content he was there.

It had been hell, trying to make the flight on time. Such short notice made things all the more difficult. He hadn't been able to pack anything at all, or even eat. All he had was his work files and the suit on his back, but he made it.
Scrambling on the plane after going through the terminal and getting through security, the mouse sighed in relief the moment he saw Hiroki. Somehow, he completely relaxed as soon as he set eyes on the man. For a moment, he remembered the delicious ravioli from the night before, the scent of warm tomatoes and sweet desserts. How blissful it was.
"Yes, I made it, in one piece...barely." Nezumi smiled and took a seat as he was addressed by the handsome man.
"It's understandable if you need to sleep. I can't say I blame you." the manager slipped his briefcase under his seat and sat back, his stomach growling loudly. "I'll need to eat as soon as I can, it seems." he laughed.
"I guess it comes with the business. I'll probably have a nose to match yours when it's all said and done. I'll be taking over managing Narcissus, it seems. Just found out, oh, fifteen minutes ago? I'm hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst. I can't imagine he's going to be easy to deal with, especially now,...but...this is my job, so I may as well learn to deal, ne?" Nezumi looked over at Hiroki.
"Did you bring bandages and pain medication for your nose, Hiroki-san?" he asked immediately after, obviously more concerned with his boss than his own grim fate.

Call me Ishmael who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth------------------------------------------------}:- Shou listened from the captain's chair as Izzy stood on the bow singing to the open sea. "It's from your diaphragm not your stomach!" He called out before hopping from his chair and pulling himself around to the bow.
"You work from here." He poked Izzy on his bare tummy up top, which was looking a bit leaner since they were rationing the food.
"Alright, I'll try it again. Give me the first notes?" answered Izzy as he took a few breaths trying to find the control that Shou spoke of.
Shou sang out a few bars patted the roof of the cabin like a drum beat before Izzy started singing again.
The manager's work very much impressed Shou. A fine student for an eccentric star. They sang and swam... exercised and ate canned goods. Izzy dealt with his crazy moments and both were getting a bit tan from the trip after Izzy's first big sunburn, which Shou slathered with lotion and hoped that it wouldn't peel too badly.
At times when Shou looked at Izzy, he couldn't help but be attracted to the hard working manager. It felt good to work with someone whose determination could equal his own. There were occasions where he wanted to just take the man as his own because there was something tantalizingly sexy...this chrysalis transformation. The man Izzy would become was the man Shou found sincerely tempting. No more bound by Narcissus' abuse and Ohayou's pressures. Shou would set him free from that cage.
Night time on the open water was cool...chilly in fact and with one cabin bed; it was hard to avoid being close. So when Izzy shivered in his sleep, Shou watched for a long time before pulling the smaller man up close and draped an arm around him. It settled the other man to a quiet slumber and Shou wondered if Narcissus had once held him like that. Tucked in their small bed, Shou closed his eyes and wondered about Jun...Was he ok?...Was Naoko..Ok?...Finally, the blond hair floating around his face mixed with the brown and the sands of sleep brought slumber.

"I wouldn't be prepared for the worst if I were you." Aki spoke, walking into the cabin with two glasses in his hands. One, he deposited in Hiroki's hand, a ginger ale to try and help soothe the man's obvious discomfort, and the other in Nezumi's, which was a barely carbonated diet soda. In all honest, he didn't know if either would like it, and would have rather offered wine or something a bit stiffer... but there were too many things to discuss right now. Perhaps further in the flight.
"I was finishing making sure the supplies we've gathered so far were stored correctly. This may be my personal plane... but it does have a fair amount of cargo room. There will, of course, be more deliveries. I simply didn't want to land in Hawaii empty handed." the chairman spoke, sitting down across from both men.
His keen eyes focused in on the mouse for a moment, "This may come as a shock but if I predict my grandson's reactions to this tragedy properly, and if, indeed, Izzy Lucky is not found... Narcissus won't be as big a handful as you seem to think he is. In fact, I think you'll be doing most of the work and he will, no doubt, pretty much stay out of your hair, so to speak." of course Koyasu knew his grandson well... and he had faith that somehow, especially from an update via Yuuji shortly after they arrived in Hawaii, Izzy had gotten into the heart of the young musician once more. "I wouldn't be surprised if he simply locks himself away in the studio and churns out song after song after song." waving over the stewardess, he ordered a simple club soda. "As for eating, I already asked that a meal be prepared, so you should have to wait about an hour at the very most, Nezumi-san."
Aki's gentle gaze then focused in on Hiroki. "I've actually got pain medication and extra bandages packed, just for your use. And please, feel free to get some sleep. After all, this is a rather lengthy flight, and you're free to use the bedroom on board if it will ease a bit of the tension. I know you've dealt with far more than I should have ever asked of you lately, and for that you have my apologies, Hiroki. Believe me when I say your Christmas bonus will be spectacular." the chairman said, taking his club soda from the stewardess and sipping it. "On the bright side... I'm quite glad you decided to accompany me. I think you as well, Hiroki, will find Akihiko far more accommodating than he has been in the past."

"Not to worry?" Naoko whispered then shook his head, amber eyes focusing on Ryu as the pianist turned onto his side so he could better face the bedroom door. "How can I not worry? But... but I know they're looking for him... I guess I just really want some good news right about now..." he replied, obviously still broken up over the entire situation.
But at least he wasn't crying anymore...
And thankfully, he wasn't trying to murder Ryu either.
"Is... does your lip hurt, Ryu-kun?" the blond asked, still feeling quite bad about that.

Blinking, Nakai stretched his arms up over his head, arching his back enough that it popped, resulting in a sigh of comfort from the guitarist.
For a few minutes he lay there, staring up at the ceiling, smiling slightly at the idea that Chiyou had let him sleep in.
He'd have expected the 'kid' to pounce on him til he woke up.
But the blond's odd hours lately had probably prompted the younger musician to realize that Kai's schedule was... haphazard at best. He certainly went to his own beat.
Something Izzy Lucky had found out shortly after they met.
Tilting his head to the side, Nakai wondered why he had just thought of Izzy. Laying there, naked except for his boxers, it was odd for the manager to just pop into his head like that...
With a shrug, Kai got out of bed and scratched the back of his head, fingers tousling his hair as he exited the bedroom and headed into the living room.
"Hey, Hi-chan... thanks for not waking me up, I..." but then his amber eyes adjusted to the room's light and he froze.
Fearing something was wrong with Chiyou, and having no idea in regards to what was on the tv, Nakai dashed around the sofa and skidded to a stop, dropping to his knees beside the young man.
"Hi-chan!" Kai said quickly, putting his arms around the sobbing musician. "Hey... hey what's wrong?" he asked, his voice soft and kind as he gently ran lithe fingers through the 'kid's' own blond hair. "Why are you so upset, huh?"

What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman's Secretary - Ohayou Productions
Doing what one does best...??
"I'm am glad you made it...in one piece." his smile took in the mouse's and once Nez sat down he tilted his head so he could watch the mouse for a moment more.
Then Nezumi added words that caught the executive by surprise, however, before Hiroki's blinking eyes could follow with his voice, Aki had spoke and left him silent. He couldn't see Nezumi handling Narcissus day in and day out. No one did well with that man except for Izzy but even Izzy even had to put up with the crap. He really didn't want to think of the mouse dealing with that.
And even before Hiroki could open his mouth again, Aki handed him a ginger ale. Seemed like his boss was more than skilled at keeping his former secretary quiet for a few moments. Hiroki took the ginger ale and smiled. Seemed like Aki never forgot anything including his discomfort of flying and his nose. One sip later and his nose tickled; making it twitch. Although he didn't mention that. He just was too happy to have Aki give him some special attention.
Still Hiroki's elephant like mind resumed its course after the distraction but even then Aki was ahead of him and telling them what to expect so Hiroki was left rather surprised because some how he didn't expect Koyasu-kun to be anything but frustrating and painfully annoying.
"Are you certain that he's going to be like that?" Hiroki questioned. "Unfortunately, my experiences over the years with him haven't been that easy." He didn't want anyone else suffering from abuse that had been seriously left to stray on its own. "I don't want...Nezumi-san hurt. I don't want anyone else to get hurt. He's your grandson but..." he didnt' finish the sentence because there had been plenty of conversations over the years. So he moved on to the next comments about something important. The aid to the people there.
"Is there anything you'll need me to do in regards to the supplies once we arrive or have you already someone ready on the ground there?" Hiroki asked as he sipped a little more soda and tried not to mind the tickle.
Oh no! He had totally forgotten his meds and bandages! As he looked into Nezumi's eyes like a deer caught in the headlights it was pretty obvious without words.
"Oh...thank you sir." he answered feeling rather relieved after a moment of panic that someone remembered as Aki mentioned the options. "I might take the bed but you need rest too, sir. You've got a lot of things to do. I can probably be comfortable right here since this seat will recline all the way down."
Hiroki hadn't even thought about a Christmas bonus but it was rather comforting. Although he couldn't believe that Akihiko would be any more accommodating. In fact he couldn't even dream that happening and it might scare him if it did.

Somehow, Narcissus found himself laying beneath the other musician. He didn't resist Hayato's explorations, and for a moment just closed his eyes and let those gentle kisses tingle on his neck.
Akihiko's hands moved, wrapping around the other man's shoulders and pulling them closer.
Would he really do this?
Would he sleep with Hayato?
Have sex with Hayato?
Try and get some sort of pleasure out of this... substitute?
Or would he feel hollow and empty in the end?
Would he be destroying that last glorious memory of happiness he had?
That memory of Izzy Lucky in his arms...
Of the two of them in the shower...
Of... love?
Blue eyes opened and Narcissus was about to say something, when suddenly his phone started to ring. Judging by the ring-tone however, it was Michi.
Reaching down, Akihiko pulled the phone from his pocket, letting Hayato continue kissing his neck as he spoke.
"Michi-kun, is there any news?" the young Koyasu asked, hoping that the physical therapist was calling with information on Izzy and Shou.

The violinist smiled softly as he confirmed that Naoko was still himself, and he allowed himself to enter the room completely. "I know it's hard right now, and it may be some time before we get any news, but for now, we shouldn't dwell on possible bad outcomes and, maybe, do something to help. Maybe we could organize a small benefit show, send the proceeds to Hawaii? Don't you think that's what Shou would do? And your brother...he wouldn't want you so upset. Think about what he would tell you to do. He certainly wouldn't want to see you crying and miserable over him." Ryu soothed, taking a seat on the edge of the bed, slowly stroking the pianist's golden locks. "My lip? Ah, don't sweat it. Just...if you have to lash out at me, try not to leave visible marks like this, ok? It...it doesn't look good, and Izo would probably get bent out of shape if he found out about it. I've got an interview with the J-Rock News magazine in two days, so I have to hope it heals enough to hide by then. We just...we have to be careful, doll. Let the Memories of the Evening be... the first think that you think of------------------------------------------------}:- Tanaka Michi Physical Therapist
Fingertips...walking up your spine...a tongue sliding right behind..
"Hey Akihiko, Mmm...about Ishi-san and Shou-san. No. But Yuuji's gettng the glass out of his leg right now. And I've been reading some of your medical paperwork. So sit back a moment and hear me out." he said as he leaned against a wall in a room he could use his cell phone.
"You remember when you were on the plane and things were cool with Ishi-san and you. And how you've been having headaches and a bit off once we got here to Hawaii? Well, I think I know the cause, you've probably been having some swelling inside your head again. The flight pressurizing of the cabin and depressurization probably had something to do with it.
"I'm going to try to get a helicopter up there to you sooner, Akihiko because swelling is dangerous. You could make serious judgement errors, violent...and do things that normally you'd never even consider. I know you're probably feeling terrible right now because of other matters but...I'm worried about you." Michi had no idea how things were going in the hotel room, if he had known there would have been another urgent string of thoughts going through his head.

Sighing, Naoko shook his head, "Sometimes I don't know what Sai would want of my anymore..." he replied in a whisper before looking up at Ryu with a sad smile. "But... a benefit show sounds like a good idea. It... it might get my mind off of..."
But his words trailed away as the pianist took in his lover's next words. "You... you're right... if word got out I was insane... well... it'd be over for me and your reputation would be tainted. I'd likely go to an institution or prison and we wouldn't be able to see each other again... let alone me ever play music so... so I can't let that happen. I can't loose what I really love in life..." his sad smile turned to one slightly more happy. "So... lets do a benefit, ne? Lets get our minds off of this... and be productive."

At first, Kai was confused as to what Chiyou was talking about... but as he stared at the tv... as the younger man's words began to sink in...
"Oh god..." Nakai whispered, amber gaze glued to the television. "Has... has anyone called, Hi-chan? Koyasu-sama or Hiroki or anyone?" he asked, finding it impossible that no one would have contacted them in light of this catastrophe.
He stood, releasing Chiyou and dashing over to the kitchen table. But there were no messages on his phone... No missed calls... Were things really that chaotic?
The guitarist tried Izzy's number, but there was no answer.
"Maybe... maybe Narcissus knows something... do you have his number, Hi-chan?"

What was he supposed to say to that? Swelling? Cabin pressure?
"Michi, I..." Akihiko paused, thinking it over for a moment, even as Hayato continued to kiss him.
'You could make serious judgement errors, violent... and do things that normally you'd never even consider.'
It kind of made sense... But...
"But my head hasn't really been hurting here... I mean, since the quake. It... it hurt once but it went away." Akihiko replied, trying to make some sense of this.
Or even deny the possibility.
"I thought they fixed the problem. Why would it be happening again? Besides, I haven't exactly done anything drastic that I..." but then Narcissus stopped and truly thought about that.
He had made some serious judgement errors... This moment with Hayato... Getting angry with Izzy for the English... The karaoke... Flat out rejecting the man...
"Oh god..." Akihiko whispered, going silent. "Are... are you saying all the things I did... the anger... it... it has to do with my brain?" he asked, perplexed by this.
Right now, he didn't care if Hayato heard.
Because if it hadn't been Narcissus' fault... then Izzy... Izzy might have died thinking that Akihiko didn't give a s**t about him.
When in reality...
"It could put me in a coma again, right?" the musician asked carefully. "Yeah, I... I think a helicopter would be good... Hell, I think if I passed out now, Hayato-san might lose his marbles." Narcissus tried to make light of the fact.
But inside... deep down... he suddenly felt even more wretched than he already had...

Nezumi was surprised to hear the chairman's voice coming from behind him. He didn't know how he had managed to not see the man, but he felt rather embarrassed to be caught talking about his grandson behind his back. Of course, he hadn't intended anything bad or devious, but it still caused him to feel awkward.
Silently, the manager accepted the drink, nodding in thanks as he took a sip.
The mouse blushed ever-so-slightly when Hiroki chimed in, saying he didn't want him to get hurt. How noble of him, Nezumi thought. Nobody ever looked out for him like that...though he was sure the man would have done the same for anybody.
"It's ok, Hiroki-san. I'm not opposed to doing it. Besides, I think it's better me than you. I'd hate to see you hurt again more than I would hate to be in the path of Narcissus' wrath. Koyasu-sama may be right, though. Like you said, Narcissus is his grandson, after all. He knows the man better than any of us, so let's not think so negatively." the mouse spoke softly, saying his piece and letting the other two men continue conversing without his input. Sometimes he felt it was best to limit his conversation, speak when spoken to.
