Vertigo_Kiwi I bought myself a B-52's hits cd for $9. I am now rocking out to "Rock Lobster" and I am happy. eek *twitch twitch* That song is the bane of my existance. But of course, when you hear it 5 times a day at work, it would get annoying anyway.

A party supply store called Factory Card and Party Outlet. We played it alot around Halloween, along with other strange songs. Now I'm stuck witht he Jackson 5 version of "Santa Claus is Commin' to Town", a soul version of "White Christmas", and some song with Rosie O'Donnell and Cher. All of those songs just plain suck, but of course when you grow up with the Bing Crosby version anything else sucks. emo At leat my assistant manager is talking about loading up his Mp3 player with some Trans Siberian Orchestra and hooking that up instead of the company radio thing.

Woah, that would get really annoying after awhile. ----------- Here's a question for everyone, it's about the emergency vehicles (police, fire trucks, ambulances, etc.) in your town. When they are rushing to an accident, do they leave their sirens on for the entire time they are traveling to the accident? I guess in the town I'm currently living in they don't do that. They leave their lights on, but not the sirens. Personally, I think it's incredibly stupid because you usually don't know they're coming until they are right behind you. It's kinda pissing me off a bit.

Also note that many police officers use silent approaches to ensure they will have a better chance of catching people in the act.

Yea, I guess I'm sensitive about it because of my car accident. I'm just annoyed because if you're at an intersection or on a curved road (there's a lot of those here) you have no idea they're coming and you usually get in their way. It makes me so nervous driving here, as opposed to back home when you can hear the sirens from a mile away.

TeaDidikai Do you check your mirrors as often as your manual suggests? I'm assuming, but I'm not going to dig out my manual and make a personal study out of it. But if you're at one end of a curve and they're coming from the other way, a mirror won't make much of a difference (unless it can see through a giant hill/mountain, what a great invention that'd be).

The majourity of the newer stuff that's out is s**t. Quote: At leat my assistant manager is talking about loading up his Mp3 player with some Trans Siberian Orchestra and hooking that up instead of the company radio thing. Double lucky for being able to put in some decent music, and getting to listen to music at all while you work. Tea: It's only flurrying here. Snow harder, damnit! scream
