RPing is still open and I don't think anybody has done one. You have until Wednesday at 8:00 PM, PST. Or Thursday at 9:00 AM, PST. You have until those times to do an RP. After the RP is finished, a bonus will come.

Okay, my turn. I´ll try the Diatrymon rp challenge! ^^
Kaya wondered why she had agreed to do this.. She had a tight grip on the bird digimons feathers, his massive body moved with startling speed across the landscape leaving enormous dust clouds behind them as he ran like the devil, faster and faster, never slowing down or pausing to catch his breath, it seemed as if he had been created for the sole purpose of running. The girl could feel the birds muscles working underneath his skin like iron poles shifting and moving along with the champions body, each passing second brought the sound of metal claws sinking into the grass covered ground beneath them and every now and then there was a loud “crack”, if Kaya closed her eyes she could almost imagine that the crack came from a small rookie digimons skull being crushed under the bird champions feet instead of a twig. The rocking movements from the body underneath her reminded her very much of the ones felt when being on a horse from the real world when you lost the reins and could do nothing but grab the horses neck and hold on until someone saved you or you fell off and broke both arms and legs, only difference was that this “horse” was almost 3 meters high, capable of speaking, weighed perhaps a ton and was running about 200 kilometers per hour, not exactly your every day My little pony. Kayas stomach did a very uncomfortable shift, the girl gasped for air and clutched her stomach with one hand for a brief moment before she tangled her fingers in the feather again to avoid falling off the massive beings back “Are we there yet, I’m getting motion sick here!!” There was a deep chuckle from the body under her, she tightened her hold on the feathers and leaned her forehead against the cold surface of Diatrymons neck armor. The metal plates shifted and the bird digimon turned his head to look at her, he was grinning playfully “Only a little further human” Kaya scowled at him, then groaned when her visual world did a tilt-a-whirl and a belly flop at the same time. The girl leaned against his neck armor again with a quiet whimper, when Diatrymon started outright laughing at her antics and even rocked a little sideways on PURPOSE she considered throwing up on him. Nah.. That would be yucky.. “Just hurry please..” The digimon nodded shortly noticing the strain in her voice. He shifted his wings and leaped forwards, almost knocking off his human rider. Kaya swore under her breath that she would never again complain about walking ever again. The redheads amber eyes scanned the area around them, or at least tried to as they passed forest, hills and meadows at high speeds, making the colors blur and trees gather in brown wooden fences before her eyes. Feather Valley was a very beautiful place inhabited only by bird digimons of all kinds. Kaya and her digital partners had stumble upon a sweet little village consisting of wood houses in the giant trees at the lake side and somehow the feather-balls had convinced her that she had to help the newly digivolved Diatrymon with his “champion test”. Apparently the bird digimons had a herd of GrandKuwagamons near their village, (a bunch of rookie eating nasty-bastards) and whenever one of the village digimons evolved into a champion or ultimate he or she had to leave the village and travel towards Bug Mountain to defeat one of the virus digimons and then take home the head shell as proof of his or her courageous deeds, only then would the other villagers consider the digimon an adult and a true champion. Kaya had never heard anything as ridiculous in her life before, but it meant a lot to the villagers and the birds had offered food and shelter plus a promise that their doors and their hospitality would always be open for her should she ever return to the valley. She didn’t know why it was so important but she had come to like Diatrymon rather quickly and the feeling seemed to be mutual so she had agreed even though the terms were outrageous: She was only allowed to bring one champion or ultimate digimon and the digimon had to be a bird digimon, otherwise the ancient bird gods would not acknowledge the young champions victory. Since Karatenmon was the only bird digimons she had there had not been much of a choice, Metamormon -could- digivolve into a bird digimon but since he was considered a Mega level in all forms, that was not allowed “Are we there yet!? God damn it my freaking wings are KILLING me!” Kaya tilted her head backwards to stare up at the sky where Karatenmon seemed to be having trouble keeping up with Diatrymons break neck speed. “We are almost there Ten, so hang on a little longer okay” The crow digimon screeched something that sounded very much like; I don’t wanna! But the comment was promptly ignored when the bird digimon she was riding on halted very suddenly. Kaya, not being prepared for the sudden stop at all, was thrown right off the digimons back like a ragdoll and went flying through the air. She didn’t even have time to scream or yell or consider that she was likely to die when she hit the ground, all she had time to think was; “..wow..” Gentle claws grasped her around the waist before she landed face-first on the ground, the purple wristbands was a dead giveaway. The human tamer trembled in shock, eyes wide open and unseeing turned towards the hard rock surface that would surely have cracked open her skull upon impact. “ARE YOU CRAZY! What the bloody HELL do you THINK you are doing! Throwing her off like that! You ¤``% bird-brained maniac!..ehm.. not that I care about her or anything..Nu-uh” Kaya felt her weight shift and then her feet touched the ground. The girl let out a breath she did not know she had been holding and leaned heavily against the purple armor that covered Karatenmons chest “I really hate riding” The masked black bird warrior only nodded then continued to glare at a rather shocked Diatrymon who was stammering an apology. She could hear his beak clattering uncertainly “I’m sorry tamer, I thought you knew I was going to stop” Kaya waved one hand at the bird as if to brush away the comment, then turned around and started heading towards the mountain side. The sky was darkening above them and the clouds were turning a sad shade of grey, matching the color of the stones and cliffs scattered around the mountain. Bug mountain was tall but also very broad, offering the insect digimons a lot of space and many hiding places. Kaya huffed “Let´s just find one of those bug guys and get this over with so I can get back to the village and pretend this never happened okay?” Both bird digimons nodded and then followed the girl, Karatenmon from the air and Diatrymon on the ground right behind her. Kaya muttered something about having armored running bird digimons for thanks giving before disappearing behind a rock along with Diatrymon and her digimon partner. When the massive bird digimon offered her to ride on his back until they reached one of the GrandKuwagamons he got a look that should by all means have turned him into a pile of melted red and green goo..
Half an hour later
“There, I can see one” Kaya pointed at something very big and very black lying among the cliffs and rocks on the mountain side. She, Karatenmon and Diatrymon all looked at the insect digimon from behind the safety of a giant builder, The height difference was obvious Kaya lower than Karatenmon and Karatenmon lower than the massive dinosaur bird with metallic wings. The air was heavy with the smell of rain and thunder and the sky had darkened even more, a storm was coming. The human tamer took a deep breath and held it for a moment, contemplating the best way to attack. GrandKuwagamon was perhaps alone and that was an advantage, but he was also a mega level digimon and even though Karatenmon was an ultimate and had the help of Diatrymon the task was still a hard one, the other digimon was bigger, probably stronger and had serious home ground advantage. The booming voice of thunder rushed through the air and across the land like a blanket covering them all with unease, soon after a flash could be seen playing tag with the wind and perhaps the lighting punctured one of the clouds because seconds after a heavy rain fell from the heavens and down upon them. Kaya groaned as when the cold water hit her pale skin like needles of ice against her bare flesh. Karatenmon spread out one of his wings to protect his human against the down pour. She nodded gratefully and smiled, earning a snort from the crow digimon before turning to Diatrymon “Okay listen, we definitely have a few disadvantages right now, but we have to succeed even though it’s raining cat and dogs” She turned to the her own digimon “Ten, it’s raining a lot and the wind is picking up in speed so I need you to stay near the ground, promise me!” Karatenmon rolled his eyes with crossed arms “ Diatrymon..” She shifted her gaze to the bird digimon, he listened carefully, feathers already soaked and changing into a deeper color because of the water. It had gotten very dark already, the only thing that separated Diatrymon from the cliffs was the two ice blue eyes shining in the fading light. “Use your claws on GrandKuwagamons wings so that he can’t fly away and make sure not to run to fast, the rocks and cliffs are going to be very slippery, okay?” The digimon nodded determination and courage burning in his eyes as well as in Karatenmons. Kaya spun around and cast her arms around her partners waist, burying her face in his warm feathers “Don’t get hurt Ten” Karetenmon flinched, eyes growing soft and reached down to rub the human girls back reassuringly before clearing his throat awkwardly “Yes, yes, enough with the sweet-fluff thing already, let go” Kaya sniffled, then stepped backwards “Kay” Their eyes locked briefly, then he took off into the air and Kaya could hear Diatrymons claws hit the hard rock surface as he leaped towards the giant insect digimon who woke up from his slumber with a roar when the champions claws scratched one of his four orange wings and tore it open. She reached up to her chest where the crests of Love and Darkness hung side by side from her silver necklace, she hoped that both bird digimons would walk away from the mountainside unharmed.. or at least in one piece.. “This was a really bad idea..”
Several minutes later
“s**t!” Karatenmon barely managed to twist his body so that GrandKuwagamons needle attack didn’t tear off his wings. The crow warrior was already bleeding several places, more often than not it was only Kayas shouts of warning that saved his tail feathers from being roasted. Down on the ground Diatrymon was doing his best to help but a hit from the virus digimon had pushed him into a pit near them, the sides were slippery and muddy, it was impossible to get out of the pit, he slipped every time he tried getting away from there and ended up knee-high in mud again and again. Karantenmon cursed and spread out his wings, they started glowing against the night sky and momentarily blinded the insect digimon “Ballistic feathers!” A shower of glowing purple feathers started raining down on GrandKuwagamon, piercing his armor and making the mega level cry out in anger and pain. Crowmon laughed mockingly, then drew his swords and dived towards the insect digimon, ready to put an end to the fight once and for all “See you in hell ugly!” The black feathered warrior flapped his wings and took aim at the virus digimons head, raised one of the swords to swing it at the beings head, avoided the insect digimons torn wings, he grinned. Victory!… “KARATENMON NOO!!” Karatenmon managed to recognize the voice of his tamer before a pain greater than anything he had ever known rushed through his body like liquid fire, boiling the blood in his veins and shattering his data into pieces. He felt his heart stop just before everything went black and he fell to the ground below whilst Kaya screamed.
Diaytrymon stared open beaked at the falling body of Karatenmon, he couldn’t believe it, the lightning had struck him! Diatrymon growled in both fear and anger, then in shock as he saw the human run towards her digimons lifeless body.. a body that lay only meters from the enraged GrandKuwagamon. The bird digimon could see how the mega level prepared to attack this new opponent coming at him, not recognizing it as a human in the heavy rain. Diatrymon screeched, then leaped forwards and started running faster than he had ever run before, he had to save the girl, if only he could get to her before it was too late!
Kaya was crying furiously, she could not stop the tears from falling, could not stop her voice from crying out Karatenmons name over and over again in the hope that he would somehow get up and tell her everything was okay. Her heart hurt, her chests hurt, everything in her body had tensed up until she thought she had been hit by the lightning as well. She had seen the lightning towards Karatenmon before it hit but she had been too late to warn him, her digimon, HER partner. Oh god what if he was dead? She would never forgive herself, never, NEVER!
Diatrymon cried out in frustration when he slipped into the pit once more “Girl! Stay away! He´ll kill you!” His voice fell for deaf ears, the girl couldn’t see or hear anything around her. Her entire being seemed to be locked on only Karatenmon. Her eyes were desperate and fearful, filled with unadulterated horror of a kind Diatrymon had never seen before. The bird digimon took a deep breath, he had to be strong, for the tamer and for her digimons. Kaya fell to her knees next to Karatenmons limp form. GrandKuwagamon roared and lifted one massive claw to kill the human. Diatrymon crouched down, gathered all his strength and pounced with a loud screech..
A flicker of lightning crossed the sky, thunder roared and a female voice screamed.. then there was only silence…
Two days later, Feather Valley in the Village
Karatenmon opened his eyes slowly. The first thing he saw was Kaya, her face streaked with tears and her eyes tired from long sleepless nights of watching him heal. The crow digimon groaned softly, the sound made the girl stare into his now open eyes. For a while they were both silent.. Then the girl placed a pale, fragile hand on his clawed one and smiled “The rain has stopped” she whispered Karatenmon turned his head to the side. He could see Diatrymon sleeping peacefully in the corner of the hut with his beak tucked in under one of his armor clad wings, both Patamon and Gomamon were sleeping next to him, snoring softly. He sighed, then held out his arms and looked at his tamer, might as well get it over with “come´ere” Kaya screeched and threw herself at her digimon coiling her arms around him. He could feel her tears against his feathers. All the other rookies Kaya had joined in, crying, giggling and thanking the digital gods for the life they had spared, Kaya thanked her own god. Diatrymon stayed quiet but there was gratefulness in his eyes as well. Even Elecmon had moist eyes, he cursed Karatenmons stupidity and swore that the next time Karatenmon tried dying he would personally kick his a**. The crow digimon felt tears gather in his own eyes “Okay, okay enough with the group hug therapy, I didn’t die okay!” The only answer was a “shut up” from all of the digimons.
