mute_coyote Where and when is the Solstice Ritual? I've never been to anything like that before and it sounds interesting. I'll PM the details to you. Quote: Yikes! I hope your Grandpa is okay. And that you can locate the heaters. My Grumps had surgery. I haven't heard the results yet. We found the heaters, but they blew the fuse. So it's taking longer than I had hoped. Madrona's engine turned over- but it is making an awful noise. crying

I don't think I'll be anywhere near the area that close to Christmas, so I won't be attending. Thank you very much for the invite, though! Quote: Quote: Yikes! I hope your Grandpa is okay. I hope your trip across the mountains is a safe one. Quote: Well, here's hoping that the surgery went well and that all mechanical difficulties resolve. The surgery went well. He has to have another one in a week. As for Madrona... I'm really worried about her. I'm going to see how she is doing this afternoon and she might have to take a trip to the doctors Mechanics.

Whee, I won a £10 voucher in a random draw. Hopefully it'll be for borders or waterstones so I can buy some books biggrin
I want a book I saw called 'sacred geometry' and some others.

patch99329 *edit* I was mistaken about the title. This Is the book smile I've glanced at that one. I enjoyed Lundy's commentary as well- simplistic as it was.

There weren't any similar books on the shelf, so I couldn't compare it to others, but I think I'll get it all the same.
Recently, whenever I've had spare money I've been looking to expand my library of 'Books about things I'm interested in'. Being a major maths and science geek, plus a theology and mystism geek, a friend described my library plans as being 'acedemically cool'. lol

In other news- I am past the halfway point in my quest. I was thinking about writing a story to go along with it.
