Pain shot through Yuuji's leg, and from how he was sitting on the ground he could easily see the blood pooling... starting to coat Michi's fingers... "Look we need to..." but he winced, a particularly deep shard making it's way out of his skin. "We can worry about washing it later. Right now we need to..."
But then he heard the sirens.
"I think it was bad..." Takagi spoke, pushing himself to his feet before leaning over and hauling Michi up too. "Come on. We're going to 'borrow' the limo... get as many people as you can on the way. Damn thing should at least carry ten, maybe twenty people if we pack them in like sardines." he said, rushing back into the parking lot.
Course, his rush was more like a very hurried limp, but he made it to the abandoned limo. Luckily it hadn't been locked. But there were no keys... so... Takagi lay on the seat and started hot-wiring the thing. Easier said then done, but after about three minutes he had the engine running.
He needed to find Izzy... find Akihiko... If he found them, they'd find Shou and Hayato. But where the hell could he look?! His cell wasn't getting service so it wasn't like he could just call them! Now the police were going to have their hands full.
"Kuso... first chance my phone works I'm getting the gps chip in Akihiko's phone activated..." he cursed to himself, getting in and pulling the limo over to where Michi was. "Get everyone in. We have to move NOW."
The devastation that Takagi could see from the car was... well... worse that he'd first thought. Now that he looked into town... looked along the beach... the man realized that it had to have been a 6.5 or 7.0 quake... which meant the tsunami it was going to cause... could easily swallow up everything he could currently see...
"Come on!"

Let the Memories of the Evening be... the first think that you think of------------------------------------------------}:- Tanaka Michi Physical Therapist
Fingertips...walking up your spine...a tongue sliding right behind..
"This isn't Japan so I guess the building codes might not be as strict." he muttered as he rose with Yuuji's help. "Borrow? Wait you're going to...." And what came next was exactly what Michi thought Yuuji would do. It was kind of like the movies but far cooler. Although Michi wasn't going to say that not in the mild of this mess.
Instead, he followed Yuuji's request and started to try to get people but it was harder with his limited English. However he formed the words as best he could and managed to get people close by to come to the area were Yuuji brought the limo. Many more people were pouring out of the building and first responders had shown in the air trying to assist; calling over loud speaker to evacuate.
Michi guided people in, a mix of Japanese that understood him and Americans following the flow. A few people were translating in between so the motley group poured into the limo as fast as possible. There was about 18 people packed in the limo by the time they took off. Many shaken and some injured by the glass.
"A few injuries kind of like yours but no one that's really hurt." said Michi as he watched Yuuji drive. "Hey thanks for saving me back there. I never even saw the chandelier falling." This was the first moment he even had the opportunity to reflect on it and thought he should say something before something else happened.
Other cars were racing down the road. People either doing the smart thing and trying to get to higher ground or people doing stupid things and trying to get to homes or various other 'important' places. All the while, further out in the ocean a large wave was forming.
"My cell phone is working either but I'll watch it." he said as he looked at the zero bars on his flip phone. But he doubted that Yuuji was going to have much luck getting the through even if the phones came back up. Most everyone was probably trying to call here.
Looking down, Michi flicked on the radio knowing that there was probably a station delivering news of some sort. Although he could only understand bits and pieces of it.
FM News: A 7.0 earthquake has impacted in the ocean off the coast of Honolulu. We suspect it has something to do with the rumblings of Mauna Loa to the south. If you are receiving this message, you are advised to move away from the water as it is suspected a possible tsunami will reach the beach and parts of the inland. Please get to higher ground.
As of this moment, our helicopter is surveying the damage and from what he reports the southern beach has suffered severe damage. First responders have arrived to try to assist people and get them off the beach quickly. Several buildings have sustained damage but many are unharmed due to the new building codes that were established in.... "I hope that the others are alright..." Michi said quietly as he listened to the news. One woman in the back translating it from English to Japanese and so Michi knew exactly what was going on. He prayed that they would be found ok. Especially after all this, he didn't know what he'd do if Akihiko and...everyone else perished.

I can no longer return to those days free of bloodshed These deep scars rooted within me will not disappear...
"Sorry...I just...I hate being stuck in a small space. Being caught off guard like that doesn't make things any better." Hayato let go of Narcissus, taking a few deep breaths, trying to get his racing heart and racing thoughts under control. This was a bad situation, to say the least. They needed to find a way out of there. For all he knew, the elevator could break loose and kill them if they were in there too long...or if there were an aftershock. Question was....what could they do to take care of themselve........ And then reality hit. "Oh ********!" Jun suddenly cried out, scrambling to his feet and tackling the bent elevator doors, pushing at them, trying to pull them apart. "Narcissus....we have to get out of here! Shou...and Izzy....their in trouble. Oh my god, for all we know, they're hurt or...or...." he couldn't even bring himself to think it. All the crazed vocalist could focus on right now was getting out, and getting to his lover. And if he found Shou, then Narcissus would find Izzy. Jun knew that had to be important, for those two to find eachother. And Yuuji and Michi...he was concerned for them too. "Help me! Come on!" Hayato yelled, turning to face the man on the floor, his eyes full of determination and fear. And then the sound of sirens came echoing through the city. Jun knew what those sirens meant. He also knew that Shou and Izzy were much closer to the beach. His heart sank as he began to tremble. "No....oh no...." Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

What a shock, it was so surprising, You looked so small and frail------------------------------------------------}:- Izzy Lucky At times life can be so enlightening .uoy no nrut nac ti tuB
Shou and Izzy dug people out they could see by the collapsed building but Shou had a deeper concern. How were they going to get far enough from the beach? Jun....where was Jun? He had never told the man that he....The thought caused him to choke just for a moment as his heart pounded with worry. What would he do if he never saw the man again? What would Naoko....Why was he thinking so hard on his band mate who was safe in Japan?
But looking up, from the dirt and wood, Izzy seemed to have gotten himself together and forced out the fear replacing it with what he must do. "Shou, grab that wood and lift it so I can pull her out!" he yelled and Shou immediately followed. From what Shou could tell, Izzy used his management skills to steel himself against the onslaught of horrible scenes around them. Although he wondered deep inside what the manager was thinking. Was he thinking about Akihiko?
Izzy pulled out the woman and helped her to her feet. Then, Izzy moved on to the next sound he could hear and immediately started to dig through the rubble. He didn't want to think about Akihiko. If he did, he would be worried sick. Akihiko he had loved so much and now...working was the only thing that kept him focused. They parted in such a hurtful way from each other. It wasn't easy at all to think about, especially if that was the last thing he might ever say to the man if for some reason...No. He had to believe that Akihiko was alive. But if he wasn't... There was nothing he could do. He knew that...
Back and forth he and Shou worked in tandem with others. Digging out people and trying to help the injuried. But then the emergency crews that showed up on the scene were ordering them to get out as fast as they could. So both of them dropped what they were doing and raced up the side of the bank on to the streets taking anyone with them that they could haul.

Laying there, Narcissus carefully eased himself into a sitting position, wincing as he did so, before getting to his feet. He exhaled sharply, shaking his head in an attempt to reorient his senses.
Then he realized it. Hayato was panicking.
Maybe he himself should have panicked... after all, this mean Izzy and Yuuji and Michi and Shou were all stuck somewhere else probably.
Were they alright? Were they hurt? Dead?
Narcissus cleared his throat and looked directly at Hayato. When the other man turned around to order him to help, Narcissus did the only sane thing he could think of.
He pulled back and slammed his fist into the side of Hayato's face in a perfect right hook.
"Calm down." Akihiko spoke, his blue gaze narrowed and yet perfectly serene. "I figured punching you might knock some sense into your head. That door is dented for a reason, dumbass. Do you really want to force it open and, subsequently, force whatever the hell's on the other side in here too? I'd rather not be skewered with debris."
The man was silent for a long moment. His eyes just scanning the elevator.
"Yes, we have to get out of here. The others could be in trouble. We don't know that for sure yet. Eventually... this elevator will give way, but I'm betting we're stuck between floors so... before that happens..." the musician moved with catlike grace, planting one booted foot on the railing and half jumping, his fingers hooking into the remaining light grate overhead.
He pulled enough to get both feet on the railing and angle his body so that it was possible for him to tear the rest of the ceiling off. Glad that it didn't fall on his or Hayato's head, Akihiko smirked as he jumped back down to the floor.
The elevator shook and rumbled... not a good sign.
"You're taller than me and right now I'm lighter than you." Narcissus spoke, pointing to an emergency hatch on the top of the elevator. "Give me a boost. I'll get on top, secure myself, then reach down for you. You'll have to jump though."
He didn't say anything about his own worry. What good would it do? They needed to get out... to focus on their own survival... before they could focus on any one else...

Yuuji was so very glad that people were being rather civil in their driving.
And that the limo had a GPS...
He turned a corner, taking the group of twenty, eighteen passengers plus himself and Tanaka, inland. Traveling at a north, northwest direction, he had just turned onto Interstate H1, making a left and traveling along the coast as the limo made it's way toward Highway 61. It should, according to the GPS, take them inland and into the mountains, their direction heading toward Nu'uanu Pali. It was the highest point in the vicinity, because Yuuji guessed... by now... they probably had about twenty minutes before the beach and land surrounding it was washed away...
Michi started talking to him, telling him about the passengers.. about their injuries. "If it's like mine, they'll live. Besides, provided the tsunami is lessened on the other side of the island, there will be a hospital within a few minutes distance from where we're going." he spoke, keeping his eyes glued to the road.
But then he looked at the physical therapist. "You don't have to thank me, Tanaka-san. I couldn't let you get squished. I mean... there IS the fact that I'm our group's bodyguard... and that it makes survival easier if there's more than one person... but... well... I like you. You're a good guy. A whole helluva lot better than most people in this business."
Both men listened to the radio. Yuuji had been about to translate, but a woman in the back was doing it instead, which allowed him to focus on driving. Especially on weaving around slower traffic.
"Aki has to be just hearing the news..." Takagi whispered, and there was an obvious tone of regret in his voice. Regret and... guilt?
"How the ******** am I going to tell him about this... his grandson's missing! His best manager is nowhere to be found! And members of a rival company are just gone!" his hands tightened on the wheel, the man obviously a bit emotional about this sudden burden. "He'll send teams... I know he will... but will it be enough? Hell, I'm betting Matsumoto will send them too. Shou's the biggest money maker SMASH has. Sure, they've got Ryu to fall back on if they have to... but Shou is there Narcissus. We've at least got Chiyou and Nakai and yourself to re... to replace Narcissus." the words stung in his throat, but it was the truth... From the business end of things.
And right now, Takagi didn't want to think about the personal end... Akihiko, b*****d as he was, was like a little brother to him... Izzy had become a good friend in the few days they'd known each other...
"This is a ******** disaster..."

Being punched certainly wasn't the help Hayato was expecting, but when the hook caught him in the face, he simply turned the other cheek, glaring daggers at the other man through slanted eyes. He would have been on him like an animal for that if he wasn't so painfully aware that there were more important things to worry about than fighting. Without saying a word, Jun just listened and assisted, grabbing Narcissus easily by the waist and hefting him up, putting one hand on the other man's a** and pushing him to the ceiling in a cheerleader lift. It was surprising how light the vocalist was, but that could partly be attributed to his own strength. He had been working out considerably more the last few weeks. "You got it?" Jun asked, gazing up at the only part of Narcissus he could see at the moment....his butt. Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

For a moment, Akihiko almost lost his balance as Hayato hefted him into the air. But he placed his hands on the other man's shoulders, then reached skyward, lithe fingers grasping the edge of the exposed panel.
A push was all it took to open the top of the elevator and soon, the young Koyasu had pulled himself up, hands grasping metal bars outside of the elevator itself.
"Yeah, I got it. Stop staring at my a**." he teased before pulling up and disappearing into the ceiling.
Sure, he hadn't eaten much in the past few weeks... nor slept all that much either... But that didn't mean he wasn't still strong. Though, the musician doubted that he could have given Hayato a similar boost...
'I need to work out again... Izzy was right...' he thought to himself before hooking his feet over another metal bar and half tumbling back through the ceiling, arms outstretched for Jun.
"Jump!" he spoke, ready to catch Hayato and half pull, half drag him back through the ceiling.

"I'm hardly trying to stare at your a**." Hayato rolled his eyes, looking up at the other man's outstretched hands. He wanted to get up and out of here in one go. Jumping up and down would disturb the elevator and could very well be their undoing if he wasn't careful. Looking at the angles of the narrow walls, Jun knew the best method to go about almost immediately. Backing up a step, he darted toward the corner, planted his foot in it, shifted around, grabbing Narcissus' arms, and pushed himself from the side wall all the way up into and through the emergency hatch. Once on top of the elevator, it took a few moments before his eyes could adjust to the dark. "So....what do we do from here?" Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

"I'm glad you wouldn't let me get squished." The words amused him for a moment but he kind of understood what Yuuji meant.
"Everyone is going to hear about it soon enough. I'm worried that the volcanos around these islands are going to blow. Man, I didn't think that there was even a chance in hell we'd be caught in something like this. But...I can't even imagine what my mom's going to say when I get home." His voice faltered for a moment because he he knew how worried and helpless she'd feel.
But then he looked up seeing the emotions flare on Yuuji's face and in his words. "It's not your fault Yuuji. Sure you're good at your job but no one could have stopped this. And you're probably right. Aid is going to come from everywhere. And...." His voice stuttered to a stop when he realized what Yuuji said. "Replace...him?"
That stabbed at the man's chest. He had only started down the road of stardom and...suddenly the weight of those words crashed down upon soft shoulders. "You're just going to do your best, Takagi-san....that's all you can do."
Look out the window, he stared for a long moment and prayed that they were ok.
FM News: Emergency report - The tsunami has hit the southern beaches and is climbing at a fast rate! There is no details on how high the wave is yet but the coast line has felt the impact. If you are in the path of this wave seek the highest place immediately. Leave anything behind. Boats and cars are floating along with buildings and debris in the wake of this wave.

Call me Ishmael who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth------------------------------------------------}:-
Shou turned and looked back once they were on the bank at the sound of the screams of the people caught on impact of the heavy wave. The noise sounding like a fierce slap against the tender beach, then a roar overwhelming the sirens.
Izzy glanced back once terrified. His voice couldn't scream as he paled. Suddenly Shou grabbed his hand and yanked him along. That brought the man back to focus when the sore arm was pulled so sharply.
"RUN!! Keep up with me! Don't give up!" Shou yelled as he raced not away from the wave to the land. They had no chance against the wave on land! But further right where he had seen a older boat that was being dry docked. Scrambling up the planks, Shou pulled Izzy up by his shirt and threw him in the older bayliner boat.
The cruiser moaned as it felt the blast of water rushed it....

"Yeah well... hadn't exactly thought that part out yet." Akihiko spoke, pulling out his cell phone and using it like a small lantern.
His blue eyes looked hauntingly eerie... otherworldly... as if the man were possessed somehow. The way the soft light glinted off his contacts... making his gaze a never-ending swirling abyss.
"Okay so, we're obviously stuck between floors..." the man said, his cell phone shinning just enough light on where the doors were. The elevator was half up them.
"I'm guessing that whatever is in the doors to the elevator... is on the floor below us. Plus since the power is out in the building, it's safer to go up than down. Wouldn't want to have been trying to go through blocked doors, only for the elevator to fall and cut us in half... I think we can force the doors open, here..." the young Koyasu handed Hayato his phone and moved over the top of the elevator.
It swayed slightly, but nothing to be too concerned about. Yet.
He gripped the doors, fingers prying and pulling. But they were stuck fast.
"It's going to take both of us. Just pocket my phone once you get over here. I don't want you falling down the shaft."

"I know it's not my fault... but I should have made sure they all stayed together, damn it. This would be a lot easier if I knew they were at least alive..." Yuuji replied, turning right and onto the highway.
He hit the gas, speeding around a guy on a bike who was peddling like mad in his own attempt to escape.
Takagi's expression softened, "That's all any of us can do... We're going to survive, Takana-san... and then we're going to get back to that beach... and look. Akihiko unable to speak English makes this very difficult, damn it... he's not going to understand what the damn sirens mean or the emergency reports or anything!"
Sighing, Yuuji propped his left elbow up on the door, rubbing his forehead as he drove on. "I hope Hayato is actually with him... I'm not as worried about Izzy and Shou in that sense but...." he bit his lip. "I'm just hoping they didn't go somewhere to eat on the beach..."
Then came the new news broadcast...
Thankfully, the limo was already going uphill and into the mountains... but that didn't do too much to lift Yuuji's spirits.

Slowly, Jun moved on his knees toward where Narcissus was, positioning himself close beside the man as he pocketed the cell phone. To say that he wasn't scared would be a lie. It was dark, there were ominous sounds echoing all over, and they were very high up. Terrified would more closely fit how Hayato felt at the moment...but he didn't let it consume him. Sliding his fingers into the crack of the door above, he began to pull. Hard. Grunting away as the two worked at it together. "If we get out of this alive, I swear Shou better be ok. Frankly, I'd rather be dead than without him...." It sounded ridiculous, but Hayato was obviously dead serious. He knew what he was before he found his lover...his Sai, his Shou. To return to that would likely be worse than death for him, especially now that he had tasted what it was to truly love. Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

"Hey look Akihiko and the rest of them are grown men. You can't babysit all of them 24/7. You can't prepare for crap like this." Michi commented as he tried to suck in his own doubts so he could be a little objective.
"I'll try to look on the bright side of this. Maybe the quake will get Akihiko's attention and he won't do anything stupid to himself. That would be good right?" He had to think of one or two positive things. Or then again, maybe Akihiko already had been stupid and then pummeled by the ocean. That brought Michi to silence and all he could do was listen to Yuuji rant some more.
"Yeah, Ishi-san and Shou-san....are smart guys. They're probably fine. Ishi-san's can speak fluent English so they'd be able to understand what was going on. But even so, Akihiko would know what a Tsunami siren was and certainly what quakes are. We get plenty of little ones in Tokyo." At least he thought Akihiko would understand. Michi understood and his English wasn't great.
Of course, the news broadcast didn't help Michi feel any better. Especially when Yuuji was hoping that they didn't eat on the beach. "Good lord I hope not." was all that Michi could respond with.
