Oh...I didn't realize people on this thread were that anti-ENT.... Oh well.
Anyway, I re-read my question...it's a little out there...so I'll answer it.
The actor who played the head MACO (though the name escapes me at the moment) is/was Steven Culp.
Steven Culp also played Clayton Webb on JAG - a major recurring role throughout the series - and a minor recurring role (the same season as the MACOs; Elizabeth Corday's lover) on ER, although that name escapes me as well.
Three roles...in one season.... eek
I swear I knew both of them when I posted the question...it's just been a long week....
(A bit off topic, but JAG is an incredible show...well, if you disregard the first season.... The first season is kinda like TNG's second season...just doesn't fit.... ER's okay, too, but by the time Steven Culp was there, I was kinda starting to get out of it....)
But as to the Nog question...not really sure.... I haven't seen DS9 in so long, it's not funny.
Now, if you were to ask a Voy question, I'd so jump on it.... whee

Steel Sterling NEW question! By request, a Voyager question. The writers borrowed from the urban legend about people who steal organs, and made aliens in the Delta Quadrant who did that. They stole Neelix's lungs. *shiver* The holographic doctor kept him alive by making a set of holographic lungs that kept him breathing while he was within range of the holoemitter. (And staying very still so the improvised connection would stay.) Ensign Paris initially protested, saying that holotech lungs wouldn't work- since there's no MATTER involved. How did the Doctor rebut the physicality of holodeck "matter" being non-solid?
Crap.... stressed
I know the episode, the title, the season, the storyline.... It's got something to do with the cohesion of his program...but I can't remember the exact term...grr.... stressed stressed
Usually I'm 10x better than this at Voy stuff.... Augh.... scream

Wait. I think I remembered.
Didn't he slap Tom to show him that he could be solid if he wanted?
(I'm with you YoukaiLuvr, I could name a lot of things about the episode but couldn't remember this... I think I remembered, anyway... sweatdrop I may be wrong)

You were CORRECT.
My Voyager questions are pretty limited, but that scene stuck with me, where the rest of the episode didn't.
It was beautiful. The Doctor moved quickly, setting up the equipment, not slowing for anything. When Paris was only going to prove a distraction, he slapped him in passing, not even losing a full second of preparation.

YoukaiLuvr Steel Sterling I remember it was against an all-Vulcan team. I remember Sisko's adage to O'Brien: "Those who can, do, those who can't teach", when O'Brien's injury sidelined him. I liked when Worf, Dax and Odo showed that Vulcan that he wasn't so "perfect" as he thought, but I'm not sure what the Worf adage would be. Yup - the other team was all-Vulcan - Capt. Solok and the T'Kumbra crew. (Though, I admit I looked them up before asking the question...I knew it was a Vulcan that started with an 'S,' but there are too many of them.... xp ) Oh, and here's the Photobucket icon I told you about with the quote from Worf...I freakin' love this one.... whee xd whee Someone else's turn now! He never said the Logicians which is the name of the vulcan baseball team.

YoukaiLuvr I'm out of town right now - Spring Break, baby!!! - but as soon as I get home, I can start posting some questions from my ST trivia books. They're 'official' - only from TOS, TNG, DS9, Voy, and the movies - although they only cover until Insurrection and about half of Voy.... Past that we'd have to continue to make up our own, but until then, how do the questions from the books sound? I just thought of them because it seems like we're having a tough time thinking of questions that people can actually answer.... lol
Enjoy your time away from your home. smile
I think the questions from the book are alright. It's Steel that made the rules, so I guess the final word is his. smile I think we enjoy our twisted questions, tho. But it would be fun to be able to answer questions without spending a week thinking about them first. xd

Steel Sterling So long as any question is "fair" as I defined it- meaning any fan who just watched the show should reasonbly be expected to answer the question- then I'm fine with it. If you get the questions from a source, please give the source. (I know you don't mean to plagiarize, but I like to uphold the principles as well as the laws, and stating the source is both.)
I'd quote the book and it's writers, of course. I'm too much of a nitpicker not to do that.... Some of these questions can throw you for a loop, though.... I'll post one or two in the next day or so...gotta get back into the swing of things at school, first.... lol

Steel Sterling NEW question! No less than FIVE characters (not regulars) have claimed (or can be claimed) to be, in effect, direct relations to Lt Commander Data, in the course of ST:TNG. Name, or describe in detail, four or more of them, and which relative they claimed to be (or could be claimed.)
Lal - His daughter
Dr. Ira Graves - His 'grandfather'
Lore (does he count?) - His brother
Noonien and Juliana Soong - His mother and father (I think they were on there...I'm pretty sure Juliana was, anyway.)
I think that's it. Unless I'm totally missing someone.... sweatdrop
