they are nice to gay couples so I think they're open minded... but they dont even know what is yaoi... exept for my sister who loves shounen ai.... I'm not planning to tell them anyway.. I'm sure if I tell them , they will be really dissapointed since I'm supposed to be they're perfect daughter...you know... smart... pretty..err cute... and very lady like (which I'm not when I'm not infront of them) I know being smart and agreeable is not good... sweatdrop

My mom knows. She was realy mad at first
and said-- yelled that I was reading porn.
"IT'S A PORNO!! IT'S A PORNO!! WHAT IS THIS?
GAY MEN!? IT'S A PORNO!!"
Even though it was just shonen-ai and the most they did
was kiss on the lips.

She says I'm 'obsessed' with two guys being together.
I wonder what makes a person who like two straight
people then. :/

They really dont care. My parents have no problem with gays since most of our family are. They even buy me my yaoi manga. For them its like as long as they dont see it then its okay. But thats stupid because I've seen my mom looking at some of it and my dad ask about it to so I'm like huh?

My mom and dad probably mind what I read, but my dad doesn't know about it because he's busy all the time and my mom is probably starting to grasp the the trems, and she never asks me about it.

Teehee, my mommy thinks Yaoi is funny. I collect Yaoi with my friends, and it's hard to hide things from my mom anyway, so I tend to tell her. Even so though, when I decided to be bisexual my mom told me she EXPECTED me to be gay, so why would she care if I read gay stuff? lol!

I want to become a writer forcusing on man on man couples, but my parents don't know yet, and i plan to let them know with the release of my first novel...if ever. but my brother lknows i like yaoi, he's still younger than me but he's already come to terms with his sexuality, and likes yaoi, he's become my book buddy! heart

Well I live with a family of homophobes. This is really bad when you are gay. They would freak if they knew I was reading yaoi! This doesn't bother me though, cause I like what I like.

There's a don't know, don't tell rule about that sort of manga in this house... They don't know, and I'm don't tell them. Keep in mind that my family sometimes acts as if you can catch gay from people, so that rule is staying in place indefinately.

My family dosen't realy care. My sister makes fun at me & doesn't realy like it, my dad doesn't realy know , mom doesn't care because it's my choose, but I don't tell them that I own any or that I read itjust beacause

My parents don't know what I read. My mom knows I read manga and has flipped through a few - luckily cleaner ones or ones that aren't BL - but I think if she know eactly what I read.... well we'll just say you wouldn''t here from me again ^.^
Although, most of my friends know what I read and I've gotten them hooked on a few of my favorites and me their's.
My family just thinks "Well, she's a good kid. Every person has their quirks."
I'm just obsessed insanely with some weird foreign-stuff =^.^=
