Round 4 Results (post 2 of 6)
Results for couples who chose path 23 ONLY
======================================================
Quote: 23. You swear that the statues are just statues. They're made of marble, and have no color, and last you checked, the Graces were very colorful, so it obviously was just your eyes playing tricks on you in the low light. You approach the statues and knock on one of them to confirm that it is indeed, made of stone.
When tapped, the sound would indicate they are indeed made of stone. While you are focused on the statues in the fountain, the statues of the Spartan Graces moved slightly to point down the corridor the golden arch lead to, as if answering Mo's question. When the pair approach, the way lights up with the fancy lanterns lining the green corridor. It looks like some sort of ceremonial walkway as the golden arch design repeats ever few feet. There is no sign of the dark and dreary effects of Eris's magic in this corridor. It is very suspicious that Eris would put you back into the maze at a spot she forgot to enchant.
There's no where else to go but through the corridor.
Round 5 Part 1 (of 2)
As you walk along, you start to notice a lovely fruity scent. At the end of this corridor is a vineyard, and the grapes look ready for harvest. It's just a small vineyard, maybe a quarter acre, but it's the biggest open area in the labyrinth yet. There's exits on each the west and east hedge wall, and in the back is a small shed with several barrels stacked up just outside. There is a single window, and single door facing the couple. From where they stand, they can clearly see someone inside the small shed.
Notable items scattered in the vineyard include wine barrels; empty wine bottles; all the grapes you can pick and carry (obviously); a red blanket with a picnic basket (there is sandwiches, a watermelon, glass of wine, two wine flutes, and a yellow cake with white frosting inside) on the grass in the corner, looking like someone had planned a little picnic; a small book of poems sits beside the picnic basket along with a pretty turquoise summer dress folded neatly on the blanket.
28. You don't want to know who is in there. There is no way to know if this area is under Eris' enchantment or not, so best to not stick around and chance running in to one of Eris' other party guests. You head for the exit on the east wall.
29. This area is clearly on the outside of Eris' enchantment and you think maybe whoever it is might be able to help you out of this horrible nightmare once and for all.
30. Not convinced that is someone safe to run in to, you decide the exit on the west wall is the closest and safest to escape through.

Round 4 Results (post 3 of 6)
Results for couples who chose path 24 ONLY
======================================================
Quote: 24. Following the doe, but staying cautious in case this one of Eris' traps, you notice the doe stops at the another glowing white doe, but this one appears injured. You decide to make sure the injured doe is not really hurt.
Both of the spirit does seemed to be paying close attention to the pair that approached them. Seeming satisfied with what they had witnessed and heard, the two glowing creatures stood, positioning themselves on either side of the couple, neither seeming injured in the slightest at this point. Their glow became brighter, then brighter still, nearly lighting the entire area before a sudden, blinding flash caused everything to go white!
As the light faded, the couple found themselves back in the ballroom, before the goddess, Artemis, had a hand laid on either of their shoulders. She gave the couple a warm smile, they both suddenly knew that they were safe. "I knew no one with wicked intent would have stopped to tend to my does." Her voice is soothing and the fears and horrors of the maze seem to grow just a bit hazy, losing their clarity. "And there is such wickedness about tonight. You've proven yourselves pure of heart though," she continued, reaching into a pouch at her side and removing two pendants on silver chains; two crescent moons in the same wrought silver as the fine chains. Placing one around each of their necks, she smiled at Moana and Terran. "These pendants are my blessing to you both. Wear them and know that you are under my protection. As long as you wear them, in times of need, you may summon a spirit stag to come to your aid. Hopefully, you will have no such need of them tonight." With that, she squeezed their shoulders gently, a reassuring gesture, then turned to help what others still needed her aid.
Moana and Terran have been saved from the labyrinth, and received Artemis' Blessing!
-----
Artemis' Blessing takes the form of a silver, moon-shaped pendant. As long as it is worn, the bearer can summon a spirit stag for aid in times of need. If this item is sacrificed to be used as a breeding additive instead, the breeding will be blessed by Artemis herself, and the children will receive edits related to the Goddess' blessing.

Results for couples who chose path 25 ONLY
======================================================
Quote: 25. You don't want to fall into an obvious trap, so you decide to wander in the dark, hoping to find an exit somewhere on the opposite side of the obvious trap. You've also by this time, discovered this is some sort of apple orchard.
Quote: 25. You choose to go in the hedge hole on the left.
Wandering around in the dark, in a strange place is usually not the best of ideas. But the injured glowing doe was just too much of an obvious trap.
Round 5 Part 2 (of 2)
Slowly making your way further into the dark orchard, you hear a voice. You can't make it out at first but hearing it a second time, you realize it's a girl's voice, and she calling for help.
"Help me!"
It's hard to tell where the voice is coming from, but you try to follow the direction you think the girl is.
30. You follow the voice southwest, tripping over apples, baskets and various farm equipment along the way. You find an exit which leads towards a path, but there's no trees, so the moon provides enough light to navigate. You follow winding path, hoping this isn't a trap.
31. You follow the voice to the east, and find a natural gap in the hedge that leads away from the trees to a moonlit path. The path is littered with various smashed wooden furniture.
32. You are a smart pae and will not fall for Eris' tricks. That girl's voice is clearly a trap. Instead, you keep on walking towards the corner of the orchard, out from under the canopy so you can at least see with the moonlight. The moon has revealed you are very near a path which, fortunate for you, is dimly lit with wrought iron lanterns.

The Grace finished her enchanted dance with a flourish, flashing the pair a malicious grin as she knew her curse had been cast. "Writhe in your sorrow, foolish mortals," Euphrosyne crooned, eyes glowing deep purple. Her smile was touched with venom, her voice dripping with sweet poison. "Let the weight of your despair pull you to the earth's warm embrace..." She moved fluidly around the pair, her natural grace making her every movement another part of her dance. She wove her spell with skill, none other could so effectively do as she did.
Her attention was captured by the woeful wails of the Faun, beautiful music to her sweet ears. She practically purred, drinking in his laments, like sweet...sweet...win--
She froze, seeming distracted for a moment as she squinted at the curved glass, wine pouring down, splashing lightly against the glass walls. "All of life is anguish, mortal," she answered in a monotone voice. Quick as lightning, she made a grab for the glass and it's precious contents. "Why deny it? It is hopeless to try, when you will surely fail."

Round 4 Results (post 6 of 6)
Results for couples who chose path 27 ONLY
======================================================
CHALLENGER! The original Cupid, very charming. His True Love arrows have a permanent effect.
Quote: 27. You noticed when the doe jumped through to the maze path, there was two exits on that side, so you decide to try the one the doe did not go down.
Quote: 27. You choose the hedge hole on the right.
Going through the hole on the right, you emerge in what looks like some sort of love den. There's a red velvet loveseat, a tray with some chocolate-covered strawberries, some Valentine's Day candy boxes laying around everywhere, only this one they're mostly eaten, except the coconut ones were spit back into their compartment. There's a table beside the loveseat with a few candles and a photo of Psyche. She's even signed it and kissed it with lipstick. There is butterfly confetti and rose petals all over the ground.
Among the romantic date swag, are a few items that look like they obviously belong to a child. Teddy bears, hair ribbons, dolls, and little plush pegasus ponies.
You might have interrupted something here... but there is also something a little off about this setting, aside from the fact that it's in Eris' enchanted playground complete with a swing set just to your left. One of the swings is still moving.
((Sei: you control Eros here. Remember he's under Eris' control so he can be as crazy as you want him to be. He has been instructed to hunt the couples, and prevent their escape. His arrows have been tampered with, so they do more than the normal "True Love."
You must first find a way to subdue, knock-out, stun or otherwise distract Eros just long enough to put his bowtie back on -- good luck, he hated that thing. Choose a logical item, RP your Pae'il trying to use it on Eros, and roll one ten-sided die. The combined total of the couple's dice must be greater than Eros's health ( 7 ). Roll in pairs until you roll a combined 7 or higher. The longer it takes, the longer he has to do harm. Once the bowtie is on his neck, Eris' enthrallment ends and Venus can help.))

The hum was ... eerie, at best.
Eros sat on the swings, humming a singular note to himself, picking it up and lowering it to create the song he swung to. He looked to be rather content where he sat, with little leftovers of Psyche and odd toys strewn all over. Perhaps he ... missed, something, or somethings, but it was hard to say, not seeming to have a singular care in the world for anything other than what he was surrounded by.
The rustling caught his attention, and blues popped open to reveal purples, staring straight at those who entered. They were unblinking, and unmoving, except to follow those who dared enter his path. What came from his lips was a low hiss, almost reptilian, as he got up from the seat he had taken, all humming crashing to a halt as he strode through the love den with an oddly calm, stony exterior.
Eros had never necessarily been the most emotive of the Erotes, at least not for the last few years with the absence of his beloved wife, but it was very obvious he was not himself, even now. He made no move to show any kind of happiness or deviousness or anger... just flat. The only twitch of his lips hinted to a smirk, but it was diminished as he reached behind him, taking an arrow out of the holder, while positioning his bow properly against his body and arm.
"I am afraid you will not come any closer," declared Eros, loading up another arrow, now two on his bow at once. "I am also afraid that you won't be leaving, either."
With that, he let go of the bow, the arrows flying forward at the intended targets with a blazing, unstoppable speed. When they hit their targets, they would find that the one next to them was ... much more ... adoring ... lovely... beautiful... how could they have ever had any flaws?
There was a small, eerie chuckle under his breath.
"Mm, good luck, there."
Would they remember their task with this new, heady feeling? It was up to them, really.
=================
Congratulations! Louise and Tariq are now in love. This effect is permanent unless Anteros interferes! That being said, he can't really interfere with the other effect. They are also going to be having babies!
Can they still remember to subdue Eros before they become overwhelmed by a burning lake of emotion?~
