Specifically how does Unexpecting work?
I will obtain Grademon soon and there's a 2/6 probability to obtain either TigerVespamon and Gaiamon. The others I don't mind getting since I will gamble a vaccine any day.
Do I have to roll a dice until I get either a limited or restricted because the digimon resulting from Grademon don't make a normal type, but i've also seen some artist just list Digimon and generate a number. Do I roll it or does the artist do it?
I'm a bit confused.
you have to roll three 6 sided die in order to determine if you can get a limited restricted or normal 3 similar (i.e 2 2 2) you can get any of the three (restricted limited or normal) 2 similar (i.e 2 2 3) You can get limited or normal no similar (i.e 1 2 3) you can only get normal after that depending on your roll the artist will do a randomized number according to the digimon it can unexpectedly digivolve to then based on that number is the digimon you get makes sense? Bloddy she is asking since the digimon can't digivolve into a normal digimon how would it be different, since the lowest is limited, confusing.

Ah, that made sense now. So then 1/3 to get Gaiaomon. (No royals either) Plus I saw Dorugoramon is a special too.
Tigervespamon used to be limited, then restricted. I've lost track, but I wouldn't mind listening to the idea, Zadoc.

Nevermind, Giga Seadramon is an X-Digimon which arn't allowed.
If I unexpect Grademon then I only have

Gaiomon

Since it's only two restricted, I assume the only possible solution is for the artist to randomize a number 1-2 for either Digimon.

i would think that with circumstances like that the artist would have no choice but to do so

Well if the only thing it can digivolve into would be restricted i think it would just skip the first part and randomize to see which you would get(one of the 2 restricted). seems logical but very confusing.

It's not confusing, it just makes sense to just skip to the generating a number.

personal vote: restricted or limited meand that the artist randomizes betreen them. Normal means you get the normal digivolurion

yes because it will be a little bit easier to get the digimon you want (WIZARDMON and SORCERMON you will be mine!)

I would personally say that since you have them both at restricted you should be allowed to choose.....but the rules say a randomized number...
