I heard them off of MTV. I saw the Helena Video and immediatly fell in love with all their music.

my friend saw their old school video for i'm not okay... and at that time i was more interested in anime... so she called me up saying there's this really good song and this really good video.. and the guy shows hhis drawings... so i watched it and i loved the band

Well, I was watching TV when it happened.
I saw this really hot guy on this music commercial or something.
So, I thought: "Oh well, just another guy." and I didn't think much about it...
Until the next time I saw the commercial with a friend and she was like: "That's the lead singer of MCR... isn't he hot?"
Then I searched for their CD and bought it.
IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE.

I heard I'm Not Okay ( I Promise) on the radio, but at first I didn't like it much. Then I heard songs like Helena, Vampires Will Never Hurt You, and Give'em Hell Kid, and I said "I gotta have the CD". I know I sounded a bit gay, but, oh well ninja

i was watching mtv and they had the video for i'm not ok(i promise) but the on they play is a video mod thing.(but now i have fuse which plays the original video which is much better i luv it! thank u fuse heart ) and i fell in luv with the song but i nvr saw the artist then helena came out and my best friends sister got the cd and now we luv them!!!!!!!!!!!!! mcr rocks! heart

my sister got i brought u my bullets u brought me your love. she played it. and i fell in love with them. needless to say i stole the cd and she still doesnt know and that was like forever and a half ago

Well...my friend Michi introduced me to Ghostmelody (yes, we know each other from the big scary world outside of the computer), and Ghostmelody had me watch some music videos of theirs (actually, all of them--THEY NEED MORE). I liked 'em but I only knew three of their songs, so I did what I usually do--go and buy stuff randomly on ebay. After one unsuccessful purchase and another that took a loooooong time to get to me, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge came into my possession. I went on vacation shortly after, listened to them every waking moment, and was hooked. What can I say, the obsession spread, and now all of us party in Ghostmelody's basement and my attic, singing along tunelessly (but soulfully!!!) and having more fun than I've ever had before in my life. Yeah. ^_^

My friend was on his myspace, and he was randomly playing music and having me guess who does the song. After Under A Killing Moon by Thrice he played something I didn't recognize. It turned out to be Demolition Lovers. The song was pretty good so I decided to check My Chem out, and then I got hooked.
There's my story. =3

Well for awhile my friends ALWAYS talked over the internet about them and I was like "Dude wtf is a my chemical romance?" they all laughed and we just kept talking and stuff while I just nodded and smiled
Later on in life I some how heard Helena either from the radio or from lime wire or the internet somethind and I was like "hey this song is pretty awesome who sings this wow" and then I realized it was MCR so I literally screamed and told all my friends how I got into them so quickly
They all laughed and said "Chicklet MCR was so like 2 years ago" but i was like "I DONT CARE I NEED MCR!!! RAWR!!!" it was kind of funny but i cant stop listening to them now lol.
