Erika Zumaya can come off as abrasive. Yet, she's very rarely ever unkind. She speaks what she means, acts on her impulses, and is unapologetic for the results, doing so without a filter. She understands and values concise communication, no matter how it's delivered. Every word holds purpose. Sometimes this puts her in a worse situation than if she were able to just shut up once in a while. Other times, it bails her out of grave situations. It can also lead to some funny and unpredictable dialogue in regards to situations. You never know when she'll have a comedic quip.
Erika tends to rely a lot on her intuition. Many times, this intuition helps her see personality flaws within others. This is especially helpful in attempts to persuade and influence. Erika Shinomori Zumaya was born the second child to a family of devout Jashinists. Growing up Jashinist, Erika's first memories are of suffering. Se was taught that one must know pain before one can inflict it. Love thy blood, love thy sweat, love thy tears. However, even from a young age, Erika had always been seen as behind the pace expected, at least in comparison to her older sister, Sora. She suffered much from fatigue, and seemingly endless amounts of illness that local medics could never quite comprehend. She was seen as a blight, a sickly child for much of her youth.
Erika and Sora were forced by their parents to make a choice early in their lives: Pay tithing to Lord Jashin through sweat, or pay it through blood. This ultimatum philosophy helped to save Erika, and gave her an insane drive to hone her body...or else. The sisters quickly decided to follow the path of the Shinobi, as their blood, sweat, and tears could be seen away from the watchful eyes of their parents. As heavy fighting and bloodlust could serve the purposes of the Zumaya family's desires to spread Jashinism, the parents approved of both Erika's and Sora's involvement as ninja. To Erika, she saw it as a way out, breaking free of the chaotic confinements of the religion. She saw the teachings of the Shinobi and becoming a ninja as a way to escape Jashinism, which in her eyes were nothing more than a violent cult of indoctrination.
Sora joined the ranks of Kohonakagure's shinobi four years before Erika entered the academy, in her quest to spread the word of Jashin. After every successful mission and return to the village, Sora told Erika of her exploits, more proof to her of her devotion to the Jashinist cause. Erika became more enamored with each telling. Not for her sister's Jashinist pursuits, but in the way she was able to leave and go so many places.
At the age of ten, Erika entered the academy. However, as expected, Erika fell behind in her performance. Where Sora graduated as any normal future ninja, Erika produced lackluster results in the academy, only further cementing the idea of her being sickly. She wasn't a strong combatant, and her only saving grace was that of the basic medical tools, something she had been accustomed to for most of her childhood. That first year was pivotal for Erika in making her theperson she is today. A year in, Sora went missing, having not returned from a mission to Amekagure. After a week-long search for her, the trackers found her body, a victim of battle. To this day, Erika blames Jashinism for the loss of her sister.
That was eight years ago.
After four tries, and finally gaining enough stamina to last the physical regiment, Erika Zumaya finally graduated the academy, at the ripe old age of fourteen. SInce then, Erika has been a loyal dog for the Hidden Leaf, biding time, gaining trust, gathering resources and experience necessary to abandon the village in order to make it on her own. Every mission before now, every time she left the village, she gathered more intelligence on the surrounding three villages, learning how to best blend in as a foreigner, waiting for the day she could make her break.

He was quite skilled at lifting items from stalls without being noticed and pick pocketing with his friends. His dad was always out working, so he had no one to play with since he mom seemed to get sick quite often. Sometime during August, he had saved a baby raven from near death that was laying at the base of a tree. After nurturing it back to health and setting it free, he hadn't seen it for a while. During the time which he was taking care of it, he had lost his touch at theft. So one day he went to steal some fruits, the stall owner caught him and attempted to unmask him. He tried to tear away, but right before he had his makeshift mask taken off the raven he had saved, came to his rescue. The bird pecked at the stall owner so he would let go. As soon as the owner did, Kitai escaped swiftly, nowhere to be seen. As he arrived home, the raven was waiting for him a small basket of fruits that he stole when Kitai escaped. Since then, Kitai and the raven, Nero, had been together, training, stealing and doing all else a child life could entail.

Nindo: Whatever, someone's gotta do it. Personality: Hiro tends to not give a damn about personal feelings. He doesn't particularly like the people who call themselves "Ninja". What he's seen is they tend to leave a wake of destruction in their path, rather than help to rebuild for the common man. Most of them he finds disgusting, war-mongering cretinous ingrates who couldn't swing a hammer unless it was to bash somebody's face. While the rest of his village celebrated ninja to the point of worship, in his opinion, he was one of the few who settled into cleaning up the mess.
This is where Hiro thrives. He takes a lot of pride in his work, rather than the magics of chakra. Unfortunately, as it turns out, he's actually got a decent amount of the magical stuff within him. Hence why he was forced to undergo the trivial training of the Ninja Academy in Kohona and learn the ways of what he typically refers to as "ninja bullshit". For whatever it's worth, it has helped his ability to do good work, at the price of exhaustion at the end of the day.

Borh to a man who slaved over a blacksmith's furnace for fourteen hours a day, seven days a week, Hiro Tanaka only saw his father sweat and work his fingers to the bone. Meanwhile, his mother often sat lazily by until going out to buy dinner, rather than cook it herself. Needless to say, there was a lot of strife between the couple in the Tanaka house.
Hiro himself was the oldest of three children, a testament to the father's strength and stamina. There was very little love, and most of the time growing up in Konohakagure, very little positivism from the house. The grandfather survived the third and fourth ninja wars, and instilled in his sons the disgust for the ninja way of life. The father in turn passed that disgust to Hiro. However, as he lived in a ninja village, everything business and work related went through the path of the ninja. Thus, sometime after being sick and tired of being sick and tired of his family, Hiro Tanaka joined the academy in order to get more work and be rid of them once and for all.
Having no natural skills in ninjutsu, taijutsu, or genjutsu, Hiro struggled greatly in his studies. His saving grace was the fact he was without question the hardest working man in show-business the academy. Through pure effort, and a modest understanding of the science behind the magical techniques all ninja performed, he was able to use what little chakra he had of his own to do some of the most rudimentary jutsu, and pass as one of the lowest ranks in the history of the academy. Where he was pretty decent with ninjutus and taijutsu he wasn't by any means a prodigy. During his time in the academy he was always at the middle or lower end of his class and never really tried all that hard to show what he can do during the sparring matches. However, when it came to taking someone down without mercy, his true skill would come out. He was a master at elimination and assassination style training during the academy which did scare his teachers but to him it was nothing more than a game, in fact it was almost like he enjoyed the idea of killing someone too much. Kōjin always had a fascination with the Anbu Black Ops and how they were mysterious and deadly, but at the same time they were also powerful and merciless. His dream was to aspire to be a Anbu Black Ops member and as such he kept his true strength hidden from most of the people around him. Now that he has graduated the academy he was ready to start his training to be the silent killer of the leaf, the assassin of the night, the Uchiha of Death.

Borh to a man who slaved over a blacksmith's furnace for fourteen hours a day, seven days a week, Hiro Tanaka only saw his father sweat and work his fingers to the bone. Meanwhile, his mother often sat lazily by until going out to buy dinner, rather than cook it herself. Needless to say, there was a lot of strife between the couple in the Tanaka house.
Hiro himself was the oldest of three children, a testament to the father's strength and stamina. There was very little love, and most of the time growing up in Konohakagure, very little positivism from the house. The grandfather survived the third and fourth ninja wars, and instilled in his sons the disgust for the ninja way of life. The father in turn passed that disgust to Hiro. However, as he lived in a ninja village, everything business and work related went through the path of the ninja. Thus, sometime after being sick and tired of being sick and tired of his family, Hiro Tanaka joined the academy in order to get more work and be rid of them once and for all.
Having no natural skills in ninjutsu, taijutsu, or genjutsu, Hiro struggled greatly in his studies. His saving grace was the fact he was without question the hardest working man in show-business the academy. Through pure effort, and a modest understanding of the science behind the magical techniques all ninja performed, he was able to use what little chakra he had of his own to do some of the most rudimentary jutsu, and pass as one of the lowest ranks in the history of the academy. Her new husband never gave Nariko the time of day due to the fact she was raised on another man's morals. As she became neglected by her step-father she found her way into the world of a shinobi. Taking after her own father she charged through the academy with a will of steel. Wanting to remember the good times with her father she managed to work her way onto a select assignment where Konoha and Kusa traded students for a year. This was to see if the other village's training could aid the others. As well as evaluate their comrade's training methods.

Where he was pretty decent with ninjutus and taijutsu he wasn't by any means a prodigy. During his time in the academy he was always at the middle or lower end of his class and never really tried all that hard to show what he can do during the sparring matches. However, when it came to taking someone down without mercy, his true skill would come out. He was a master at elimination and assassination style training during the academy which did scare his teachers but to him it was nothing more than a game, in fact it was almost like he enjoyed the idea of killing someone too much. Yuto grew up in Kumogakure with his Father, Takeru Uchiha, his mother, Asa Hakate, and his older brother, Kenshin Uchiha. He took on the last name of his mother for the simple fact that he took after her when it came to bloodlines, hence why his last name was Hakate. While growing up he tried desperately to keep up with his brother in everything whether it be helping their father with the crops or helping his mother with the house, it didn't matter to him all that mattered was beating his brother. Then one day when Yuto was five his brother Kenshin now ten joined the Academy to take after their father and become a Shinobi of the Cloud. Trying desperately to keep up, Yuto began to practice techniques like shuriken training or stealth on his own but sadly failing. His brother wasn't in the academy for a month before his father was getting praise about him being a genius and prodigy of the Uchiha Clan. This news brought Yuto down slightly but, it was his mother that always kept his spirits up by tell him that his time to show his brother up was coming soon.
A year after his brother joined the academy he had graduated with honors as his teachers said he was ready to become a shinobi when he first walked in. Yuto's anger grew each and every day as his brother began taking on missions with a squad and even leading a few small ones here and there. On Yuto's eighth birthday his brother never showed as he was competing in the Chunnin exams and his father being so proud of his oldest left to watch him. His mother did her best to cheer him up but nothing worked as Yuto simply locked himself in his room and cried. About a year later his brother became a Jounin and an Anbu all at the sametime and this was when Yuto had enough. Gathering his things he left his home and ventured into the woods to find a place to train swearing he wouldn't return until he was better than his brother. It was here that he learned the truth.
Secrets Reveled
While wandering a path he heard a conversation going on in the distance as he noticed his mother and brother talking. She seemed distressed or angered he couldn't really tell until she drew a kunai and attacked her son. Kenshin easily dodged her attacks and disarmed her before grabbing her head and snapping her neck. Unable to contain what he just saw he screamed and ran back towards his home but his brother was indeed better as he caught his brother in the back with a kunai creating so much pain in Yuto he passed out on the ground. That night Kenshin vanished from the Village leaving Yuto and his mother dead or so he thought.
The next morning Yuto awoke in the hospital with his father outside the room. Two members of the Anbu were speaking with him about his brother and asked if he knew his whereabouts. Takeru simply shook his head before the two Anbu vanished and he returned to his younger sons room. He then informed him that his brother had gone rouge and what he saw last night was no lie his mother was dead. Yuto sat there in shock not moving, speaking, or even crying as he knew himself it was the truth he watched it happen. Later that evening, he decided he was going to get revenge upon his brother and without the approval of the nurses or his father he left the hospital and went home to gather some things and rest in his own bed. The moment day break came he was at the academy signing up and joining to learn how to become a strong shinobi.
Life in the Academy
Yuto quickly learned what he was doing wrong when it came to his shuriken training and quickly picked up on it. Like his brother he was a quick learner but his teachers knew better than to tell him that. He put his focus purely on training and getting stronger and as such developed faster than his brother or even his father had. His teachers however, kept stressing that he focused on the ethic of a shinobi and what the responsibilitiesof one entailed. Not wanting to turn out like his brother he agreed and took an extra class about shinobi ethics. It was here that he developed his nindo of "Obey Orders Fully and Without Question" which was something he began practicing more and more as he grew. He spent three years in the academy before he graduated at the age of twelve but he wasn't ready to become a full blown ninja yet. Declining the graduation for now he went to his father and asked him to take him into the forest and leave him there for five years so he can train in silence and to see if he could survive on his own with what he learned. His father reluctantly agreed and took his son deep into the woods and mountains before leaving him there.
On the day of his seventeenth birthday his father returned to the site where he left his son, only to find a cottage with a fire roaring inside. Knocking on the door, Yuto answered and nodded to his father as he knew it was time for him to join the ranks of Kumogakure and followed his father home leaving the fire to destroy his cottage behind them. Completing the graduation exam from the academy again without any error he graduated and took his papers. It was time for him to show his Village he is better than his brother.
