That happened once at my school too! The emergency lights went on and all. Some students were really mischievous and started wreaking havoc in the darkness. The traffic lights around the area were out too >.>

You should have seen everyone.
When they announced for us all to go home, this was when I was out for lunch, everyone was like running. And I was very terrified because it look like they were going to trample people.

They looked like they were running to see a fight or something.

Yeah, not fun. Some of the bad students at my school were tipping over garbage cans and stuff for fun. Other students step or trip on the stuff. It was really mean.

Another time, class was canceled due to a water leak problem somewhere. o_o

Well, I had Choir after Lunch and that's when they told us to go home so, wasn't able to go that day. :/

.:. Oh this reminds me when we had a blackout at my school during a lecture
the projector turned off and the kids were all cheering and throwing papers in the air
but my teacher said
"Don't be too happy"
and she started writing the lecture on the board
the kids were
"Awwwww come on!".:.

Well, if you think about it. Your teacher suffered too because she has to write out and such.

yes, it does suck
but it is usually quite sunny outside because of this damn drought
