___ ways to annoy your band director

Here are some ways we tend to annoy ours...

Dance during an 8measure rest at a foot ball game (*cough kristen cough*)

scratch while at attention (I HATE when people do that)

Eat in class

Wear hats in the band room

BE OFF STEP WHILE MARCHING

Don't run back to set.... Just casually walk...

Um, that's all I can think of for the moment...

Ask him if you can decorate his bald head with your glittler glue.

After I saw this, i totally asked my BD if I could. xd

That's awesome! My BD always get extremely offended if you mention anything about his being bald. It's kind of funny really. In eighth grade I just randomly said in the middle of band "You're bald" and he got really mad. That's a good way to annoy a bald band director.

Omg.... I have to try the glitter glue thing.... But, Our BD doesn't care when people make fun of his solar panel.... XD

The band memebers used to comment our middle school band teacher on his bald head. He never got offended, he used to joke about it as well. xD

what we used to do was eat sumflower seeds and other types of seeds (he hates that) uhm wear ax he hates the smell of it and use laser pointers distractes them very well.

These are some things I am sure would annoy my BD...
1-Take the batteries out of the Long Ranger and hide all of the rest in a random person's bag. Don't tell them.
2-Put the yard line markers in the wrong spots. For instance, put the 50 marker on the 20 yard line.
3-Dump the contents of your bag on the band room floor, then complain to him about how messy the band room is.
4-Constantly chew gum, when he tells you to spit it out, stick it on your instrument, or behind your ear, and say "I believe in conservation."
5-Keep saying his name, when he asks what? say his name again.
6-Hide his conductor stick.
7-Write your name on his chalk/white board, and when he erases it, scream "What are you doing! That's my baby!"
8-Tell him you're pregnant with the DM's baby. (Last year that wouldve killed him cuz he specifically told us NOT to say we were pregnant with Johnny's baby. Don't ask.)

Okay here's some more...
9-Show up for other people's band lessons.
10-Bring a guest with you to your band lesson.
11-Throw things at other sections.
12-Throw your instrument on the ground, stomp over to him and say "I need some valve oil..." (or something like that.)
13-Move the percussion instruments around the room, better yet, move them all into the hallways.
14-Tell him/her that you love them.
15-Call him up on a day when you have early morning marching band practice, when there's little white puffy clouds, fog over the field, etc.(be creative) and ask him if there's still gonna be marching band practice. (In other words, play the weather man. That would piss off our BD so bad because, well, he told us not to.)
16-Drop your instrument under the stands at a football game, and refuse to get it until 5 minutes before half time.
17-Name your instrument after him, then forget it one day. Then when he asks "What happened to -----?" Say "Oh, he kept telling me to play out and keep in step, and it got annoying so I killed him." Bring in a new instrument, or borrow someone else's and say "This is ----(Name of someone he dislikes) I like him/her much better than I liked -BD's name-"
18-Call him by his first name.
19-Constantly ask him "When are you bringing the doughnuts you promised me?"
20-Complain about how messy his office is and tell him you think that's the reason he never gets any work done. If he aggrees, look satisfied and say "So you admit it..."
(Okay that's all I've got...for now...If we did some of these to our BD he'd either laugh it off or kick us out of the band! biggrin Actually, he'd never kick anyone out of band...)

Nobody is ever here when I come on this guild!!! Oh well. On the pink list above me...#14..If I said that I loved them...they might actually believe me, 'cause my band director and me are like really close. She rocks like that. Some...ok...MOST people think that she's a b***h, but she's nice to me.

Yeah on my list my favorite one is number 3, because everyone is always complaining about how messy our band room is, once, when it was actually clean (practically spotless) some smart@$$ goes "Hey you can actually see the floor!" it was funny. So if we did that, he'd get pissed because he's always trying to get us to clean up, but us being lazy band nerds...well. The job just never gets done unless of course people who are determined to make our band room an actual learning space. It never really works out though, that's just the way we are.

~'trip' durring a preformance...and if you're in a line, be sure to take it with you
~play blantently wrong (senior ufonium)
~play a differant section's part (trumpet played tuba part)
~take it up an octive (trumpet and clarinet)
~miss all the step-offs (flute)
~be out of step (flute and trumpet)
~miss the horns up (trumpet)
~miss the horns down (barry sax)
~miss the halt (tenor and alto sax)
~mock the other band (all)
~yell 'wingardium leviosa' or something to that affect when a player is down on the field (bass drum)
~generaly mess up the show

One of the mosy annoying thing to da as a flute player is to use the fingerings for your low C but to take it up an octave or two it makes a pretty strange sound and is out of tune so it can make your band instructor really annoyed.

Slouch.

Play loud during pianissimo and soft during fortissimo

Hold notes over during rests

Pretend like everything is your own personal solo, with no regard to balance

Randomly play someone else's instrument

Talk while he's talking

Answer every one of his questions with, "More air?"
