Philip waited for Chelsea to arrive on the pitch so that he could wish her good luck, and to apologize for any bruises he may give her during the game. However, she never showed up. And instead, another girl had replaced her for this game. Concerned, the beater decided he'd focus on the game for now and find out what happened after. He hoped she was okay.

Philip was a little distracted by his friend's absence when the game had started. It looked as though the seeker replacement had spotted the snitch, so Phil took aim at Eve.

Mary easily enough caught the quaffle passed to her from Shui and was readying herself for the toss to attempt a goal when she heard the unmistakable hiss and whistle of a bludger her way. Unfortunately, she already knew time was not on her side as she had lost a second to catching the toss to her. "Ow!" She exclaimed as the bludger slammed into her right leg. Oh, she hoped that she didn't get any additional distractions because then she knew she'd have no chance at scoring.

Taking a deep breath she aimed towards what appeared to be the left goal, adding enough spin it would end up heading toward the center goal. Hopefully luck was in her favor and she used up her bad luck with the bludger hit.
