The swordswoman hoped to get a little more out of her companion, perhaps get a better idea of what was troubling her, but the pillow colliding with her face made it clear it wouldn't be quite so simple. Lucatiel let out a breath and withdrew her arm, using it to peel the plush cushion from her face. "Well, believe what you want, it was an accident." She set the pillow down on the mattress before finally getting up, leaving Sylva to sort out her clothes on her own. "Teasing you with words and jokes is certainly simple, but a warm body in a warm bed is hardly a joke." Keeping her back turned, Luca fumbled with the words a bit, trying to piece her thoughts together.
After a minute or two, Luca finally set about collecting her own clothes, taking a seat on her unused bed as she dug into her bag. Once she had everything, she got up and started making her way towards the bathroom to get changed, stopping before she left the bedroom to get one more thought out. "...I'm not gonna pry, but it won't do you good to bottle yourself up like that." As if uncertain of her own words or if they would actually earn a response from Sylva, the swordswoman shuffled out of the room and disappeared into restroom, shutting the door behind her as she changed back into her white suit.

Sylva kept her gaze away from Luca, pursing her lips at the woman's words. She still claimed it was an accident. Well, maybe it was. Luca was one for teasing, but thus far as far as Sylva knew, she hadn't lied to her before. Still, she kept silent, thinking more on it as she pulled up her pants and tightened the belt. Stopping in her place as Luca mentioned not bottling up herself, the red-head looked up towards the window staring at her reflection until she heard the bathroom door close. "Yea... maybe I shouldn't." The red-head muttered to herself. "But some things don't need to shared." She added, though the words felt like a lie as they left her lips; which they were.
Moving closer to the window, the red-head lifted it up to let some fresh air enter the room, only to open a passage way for something to fly through the window and pelt Sylva in her ribcage. "Ugh!" Falling back onto a bed, she held her hand to where the object had impacted her. It'd moved so fast it felt as though it'd actually with through her shirt. Low and behold she found a small hole had opened in her shirt, and what looked like a small triangular rock rested in the punctured area. Pulling it out, blood slowly started to pour out. "What the ********> She grumbled. Looking up she saw the majority of eyes in the room on her. She winced in pain... suddenly her entire body hurt. Clumping her shirt she pressed the cloth to the wound then started her way over to the bathroom, falling against the wood door banging on the door with the side of her first. "Lu-luca, open up!" She shouted, nearly doubling over as the pain extended to her head and feet. Her eyes were tightly shut, so she for the most part was unaware of the stares she was getting.

Though she hadn't heard her companion being struck from within the bathroom, Luca practically jumped in the bathroom when she effectively collided with the door. She hadn't even been in the bathroom long enough to finish changing before Sylva began beating on the entrance, demanding she be let in. "s**t, what is it?" The swordswoman shouted from inside, suddenly rushing to the door with steps loud enough to be heard through the walls. Half-dressed and startled, Lucatiel finally swung the door open to meet her wounded friend.
...Only to remember a moment later that, the door she was leaning against, opened inward to the bathroom, resulting in the redhead falling face-first into the half-dressed swordswoman. Fortunately, Luca reacted quickly enough, reaching out and catching Sylva before she could slide off her body and fall to the floor. "Hey, you alright?" She tried to get a better grip of the girl, only to accidentally lift her up slightly off the floor for the moment, as if the redhead weighed considerably less than she had the night before... Though, perhaps the most obvious sign of change was said head of hair losing its hue, and transitioning into something akin to pale lilaic. "S-s**t, Sylva... Did you get smaller all of a sudden?"

Falling face first into the half-dressed Luca would have normally upset Sylva, but with her abdomen in pain she didn't really notice until she was being lifted up into the air. "Urg... I don't know, I just know my entire body hurts right now." She stated through winced eyes, her teeth gritting beyond the pain. But then, suddenly... the pain was gone. The red-head opened her eyes, to find herself facing Luca, feet dangling above the floor. "Huh? The pains gone?" What the hell had that been about. Looking down she noted she was indeed being held up in the air. She hadn't been that much shorter than Luca before. So how was she able to hold her up like she was... a child?
It was then, her gaze fell upon the large mirror that rested above the sink. Her eyes widened as one of her free hands touched her hair. The once firey-carrot orange hair was turning... purple? Like a light lilac or something. "What in the actual ********> She demanded. Not only that her skin, her face... they were all distorted. Not in a way that made her look ugly, but... cute. "Put me down! What the ******** is going on right now? Why do I look like some stupid pop baby icon!?" She demanded, though she deep down know Luca couldn't very well give her an answer. Still... more importantly was the wound to her stomach. It hadn't been that deep to begin with, and the bleeding had otherwise already coagulated so it'd stopped for the most part. It also did help that her body, though shorter and a bit more filled out than previously, still couldn't hold up the male pants that Sylva was wearing, thus they were starting to slip dangerously to the point of falling off.

Luca still seemed stunned in disbelief by the time Sylva noticed her own changes, blinking a little faster than usual as if she were just imagining things. It was almost as if she'd lost a full foot in height, or damn close to it, while her shrinking body put that mass elsewhere and even draining the color from her hair. Even her eyes had taken on a different hue, one that made the pop baby comparison all the more apt. "R-right, sorry about that," The swordswoman finally responded, only hearing what her companion had said a minute after the fact. She still hesitated for a moment--worriedly looking over the girl she'd just spent the night with--before her hands finally moved to put her down. Gently, of course, in the hopes that those pants didn't come tumbling down.
Well, it was a hope, at least. Her hip size wasn't going to change no matter how softly Luca let her down, so it was really up to gravity to know if they were safe. "Arceus... What the hell happened to you?" The now towering woman crouched down to meet her companion, running a hand a short ways down to the point of impact of the stone that struck Sylva. "Guess we should probably save the investigation for later... Does this still hurt? There's a medicine cabinet right there, so we should be able to patch it up." She motioned towards a container bolted to the wall next to the door, just beside the two of them. For once, the aloof air and perhaps "free spirited" attitude towards the red-turned-purple-haired girl had been pushed to the side, now replaced with a genuine concern.

Much like Luca, Sylva could hardly believe what exactly she was looking at. She hated just about everything about this new look of hers. She dearly hoped it wasn't permanent. Of course she wanted her own body to look better, but this was a step beyond where she was willing to go. Fussing with the now light purple semi-wavy hair, she furrowed her brow to Luca's question. "I have no clue. I was in pain a moment ago when something hit my stomach, but now I'm perfectly fine, but... different." Had the pain she'd felt been her bones shrinking, muscle and fat building? Whatever it was, Luca made a point to mention the very red and very sore second bellybutton Sylva had been given. Lifting her shirt a bit more, (Which was also now even more baggier than it had been previous) She noted the triangular-shaped puncture hole. "It's kinda sore, but it looks like the bleeding stopped." She mentioned. Looking to the Medicine cabinet Luca pointed out, the exred-head nodded.
Pulling out a bandage and some cotton balls. Though her pants had managed to stay fast to his hips, they were still in danger of being pulled off at any given moment. One tug and down they'd go. So, the now small girl undid her belt and tied it as tight as it could go. She kept her gaze on the wound the entire time they cleaned it up and banadged it. "I really hope this change isn't permanent... though at the same time, I hope when/if I change back to my old self it isn't as painful as it was the last time." Sylva mentioned. Though the prospect of her 'changing back' seemed far out of reach. A pipe-dream really. "One things for sure, my old clothes, new clothes and your clothes even aren't going to fit me anymore. " Her frown deepened and her brow became even more furrowed ."I guess this means... I need new clothes." Wearing baggy clothes was one thing, but... this was ridicules. She looked like a child wearing mens clothes. With her bright hair and plump features there wasn't any way she'd be able to truly hide the fact that she was a female either... which meant... girls clothes were what she'd be shopping for.

Sylva's report hardly gave her companion any clues on the situation, the swordswoman scratching her head as the confusion continued. "I see... Well, where's the thing that hit you now? It's a shot in the dark but we might be able to gleam something from it, hopefully." As much as she desired to sort out whatever caused this, and return her friend to normal, Luca was simply at a loss. She'd heard of pokemon capable of creating illusions around people, but this was hardly a trick on the mind. The skin her fingers traced was very much real, as was the now healthy amount of fat that caused her digits to sink into them slightly. Was there even a quick fix for something like this?
She had to put that out of her mind for the moment however, and focus her attention on getting Sylva patched up and dealing with the situation that they're in now. "You've got that right," she noted, when they once again returned to the issue of clothing. "Even that belt doesn't seem like it's helping much to keep your pants on, so you might not even be able to wear those while you're like this." While they focused on cleaning up the wound and getting it covered up, Luca looked over her companion's new body again, taking stock again of just how much she's changed. "...Well, there is a shopping mall right next to here, but the problem is going to be getting over there. If you try running out there with those clothes we're liable to get stopped along the way, or worse, some of it might just start falling off while we're walking."
Finally, the swordswoman got to her feet and stood up, stroking her chin thoughtfully. "I guess we could just try having you use my pajamas again until we get there, at least for the top? It'll be too big for you, sure, but at least it'd look a little more natural than someone your size trying to wear men's clothes. We can just say your normal clothes got damaged in a fight or something. Then..." Her voice trailed off for a moment, suddenly remembering how this situation played out the first time they needed to make a shopping trip. "...Come to think of it, do you even have enough money left over to buy clothes?"

As much as she hated this new look, the feeling of being inside a healthy body was something... nice. The liliac-haired girl poked at various parts of her body, noting the almost sponge-like response it had. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had a good concentrated amount of fat on her bones. Looking up to Luca when the swordswoman inquired about the object in question that had caused the little hole in her stomach, Sylva looked back towards the room. She noted the various pairs of eyes looking her way. "It's over there." Sylva mentioned. "Towards the window."
After she was patched up, Sylva strode across the room, darting a glare at Leirsa who seemed, finally, interested in Sylva's new look. The pseudo dragon grinned in amusement. Going from near dead looking to a pastel doll was laughable to the Charmeleon. Leaning forward, she picked up the strange rock. It was shaped kind of like a pyramid, though perhaps one that had been cut in half. It's sharpest point was the point that had stabbed Sylva's stomach. The stone itself looked as though it was made from some sort of smooth, black mineral.Turning towards Luca as the swordswoman mentioned her clothes, then the talk of a mall nearby. "As much as I hate another shopping trip, you're right. I can't function with clothes 3x to big for me." Again, as much as she loved baggy clothes, her clothes now were too baggy. "Well, this shirt I'm wearing now is practically a dress so if my pants were to fall, It'd look more like I was wearing a bikini, which I think is somewhat exceptable in this region." She noted. After all her underwear were black, and at first glance it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between underwear and Bikini bottoms. On the subject of money however... The lilac-haired girl searched her bag, pulling out a small fistful of cash. "Not likely. Maybe enough for some cheap socks..." She noted. " Well, let's go anyway, maybe I'll get lucky at get a blue-light special." The last remark was sarcastic, poking fun at how some woman talked when it came to their type.

Now that Sylva's body seemed to be settled and her injury was taken care of, the taller woman followed her out to inspect the strange stone that had pierced her body. She leaned in to take a closer look, trying to spot anything that might clue them in on how it caused such a dramatic change. But unfortunately for any investigation, it didn't look terribly out of the ordinary. From sight alone, all Luca could see was a normal, if finely cut stone, leaving her at a loss. "...I guess it was a little too much to expect an easy answer, huh?"
Well, dwelling on it wasn't going to get them anywhere it seemed, so the swordswoman turned their attention on the more immediate problem of Sylva's state of dress. "Hm, true. I think there is a beach a little ways down the road too, so that wouldn't be too much of a stretch. Guess it's a good thing this happened here in Alola huh?" While they spoke, Luca went about fixing her own clothes as well, covering her hands and feet before securing the straps on her arms. "Still, I wasn't sure you'd be comfortable literally getting caught with your pants down in public... But I guess we don't exactly have a better solution at the moment."
Unfortunately, the second issue didn't have nearly as neat a solution as the pants situation. The swordswoman wasn't exactly surprised at the news--For all they talked about taking on the trials and getting some training in, they really hadn't been afforded a good opportunity to actually do any fighting. Still, they had to make due with what they had. "I figured as much. Well, if worst comes to worst, I can try buying you... Something, I guess. I hear clothing in a few regions can get pretty expensive, even for the basics."
Regardless of how it came to this, the two weren't going to get anywhere talking about it. With a deep sigh, Luca finally moved to pick up the rest of her items. She slung her bag over her shoulder and settled her sword onto her back, ready to head back out into the world. "Either way, we'll just have to figure it out when we get there. Once you're ready we'll run over to the shop right away."

Of course the first suggestion that came to Sylva's mind was to ask the police to do some sort of forensics on the stone, but what if they also found the DNA from the blood on the stone belonged to her, she'd be setting herself up to fall. Biting the inside of her cheek for a moment to think, she then recalled some individuals from her home city that could help instead. "Let's keep it regardless, just encase we come across more like it." Sylva stated, snatching the stone she placed in into her bag.
The stone dealt with, Sylva then slung her bag over her shoulder. It felt.. lighter than it previous had. It was amazing what a bit of muscle and fat could do to one's core strength. The lilac-haired fem then took one last look down at her self. Her clothes were uncomfortably saggy, and of course Luca made the point of her having her pants down in public. "I think I have a solution for that." Sylva replied, suddenly thinking of something as she spotted Shane float by after the AC's fan kicked in to blow additional cold air through the room. Grabbing one of shane's tendrils, the girl pulled in down. "Shane, why don't you hold onto me by one of my belt loops?" Sylva stated, running a finger through one said belt loop. The balloon Pokemon seemed rather... confused at first, but obliged Sylva, wrapping one of his tendrils around a belt loop, and the other around one of Sylva's wrists. Shane wasn't entirely to strong, but holding up some pants should be all that hard, right?
The very idea of another shopping trip was driving Sylva mad, but in this case it had to be done. Her lack of funds noted, Luca mad mention of buying her some more clothes for the time being. That made her even more mad. She wasn't keen on Luca buying her clothes the first time, a second time was drawing a line. But what could she do? Have Luca pay or beg for some cash to buy new clothes? In her experience, people weren't generous souls... they always wanted something in return, and that something when it came to a woman... was often more than not degrading. "Yea. I'll pay you back someday, I swear." Sylva stated, finally making peace with herself.
Sylva, for the most part was ready as she ever would be. When both girls were ready, they began their trek to the Mall next door... which was literally next door to the Pokemon Center. At the rate the size of the mall was, the Pokemon Center should just be attached to it. Regardless, the familiarity and dread of the mall soon wafted over Sylva as the two girls entered. Of course Sylva couldn't ignore the occasional glance over towards her, but much like many malls... at least people minded their own business. There were a couple chatty cathy's and gossip seeking Gertrude's here and there, but they were easy to ignore. Another pro of the mall was the vast difference in clothing one could pick from. If she was going to be forced into girls clothes, it might as well be something she liked. Sadly... a con of the mall was the prices. "Do you even have enough money to afford this?" Sylva stated, holding out the price tag of a generic black and white striped polo.
It was then, as if born from both a blessing and a curse, a woman approached Sylva and Luca. Big brown eyes, dark brown hair, dressed in a business suit obviously meant for a fashion statement rather than actual business. "Good morning, girls. Is there anything I could help you with?" She inquired. "Yea... do you have any shirts cheaper than this?" Sylva replied a bit of sarcasm in her tone. The woman only smiled. "Sure, we do have a clearance section. Though... to be honest I didn't really come over here to ask if you need help. Truth is, I need help. Two of my models called in sick, and I need someone to show off the new outfits we got in." The woman caught Sylva's gaze, looking to luca with a smile. "Truth is, I'm running a new line for family orientated fashion. Just as eager to settle the clothing issue as Sylva, Lucatiel lead the way to the nearby shopping mall, feeling none of the dread or apprehension of her companion. When they entered, it was almost precisely how she expected it to be--big with a wide selection, almost all of which is overpriced. She scratched her head when Sylva stopped to ask her about them, bringing her attention to some of the more "reasonable" attire the store boasted. "Honestly, I don't know if I can get a full outfit with everything like this. Unless there's a discount section, you might have to make do with an actual swimsuit until we can get more fight money." It may not've been the most desirable option for the former redhead, but they didn't have many alternatives.
But before they could explore further, what she could only assume as a sales representative suddenly approached, giving them a token greeting before elaborating on her intentions. "That so..." She looked around for a moment when the woman explained the situation, surprising herself a little upon realizing that she didn't even notice the men and women standing around where there would normally be plastic dolls. She certainly couldn't deny the offer was tempting--especially if it meant they wouldn't be burning completely through their funds repeatedly on clothes. Still, she seemed a touch hesitant, briefly returning Sylva's gaze before speaking up again. "...Well, if she wants to do it then that should be fine, she needs new clothes anyway. Sylva not being sure about Luca purchasing her new clothes in the first place was rather relieved when Luca mentioned not being able to buy an entire outfit with the prices of the clothes being what they were. But there was also a bit of disappointment, some of the shirts and pants were actually kind of appealing. When the woman appeared to give them bot ha job offer it seemed rather... suspicious. In the end though, could Sylva really deny free clothes? Looking over to Luca, the swordswoman made note that Sylva needed new clothes anyways, but the woman didn't even blink an eye.. she'd spotted Sylva a mile away most likely. Though when the comment about the mother slot being unfilled happened, the woman seemed to stare before smiling once more and gesturing towards Luca. "Well, you look young, but I think you could fill the position easily enough. Perhaps not so much a mother-role, but just an 'adult' role I can settle for." The 'adult' comment struck a cord with Sylva.
While she wanted nothing more than to growl at the woman, the ex-red-head grinned and bared it. She hadn't necessarily called Sylva a child. She was filling the role of a 'teen' after all. "I'll do it." Sylva finally spoke up, stepping over to Luca. "I need the clothes, so I can't really refuse the offer. You did say a few hours right? Like, 2 or 3?" The woman nodded. "The back-up models I'm waiting for are coming over from Ula Ula Island, so they shouldn't be long at all. I'd say you girls will be out of here by lunch tops." She added with a kind smile, a bit of sparkle in her eyes.

The swordswoman nodded quietly as the employee seemed to elaborate on the position, trying to spin it in a manner that would be more "generalized" for Luca. Although, when it was made clear that she was supposed to be the mother, the taller woman seemed to get the implications just fine. "O-Oh, I see," she replied, still nodding as her eyes blinked a few more times than necessary. She brought an arm up to brush her hair back as she glanced away, returning her gaze to the lady in front of them a moment later. "I uh, I guess that's fine. If you think I fit the bill..."
Though the idea of standing in for a "mother" slot still seemed to throw the swordswoman off balance, she caught herself by the time Sylva made her decision. The girl did have a point--and quality clothes were almost certainly going to be better than whatever she could afford in the bargain bin--so they didn't really have much room to refuse. Taking a breath, Lucatiel shook her head and did her best to put the context out of her mind, and focus on what's in front of her. "Well, I guess you've got your substitutes then," She finally agreed, letting her arms fold over her chest as she focused on the saleswoman. "Just show us what we need to throw on."

Seeing as the woman hadn't known Luca that long, she simply noted Luca's nervous response as her being shy. Sylva on the other hand found it strange. Was being called a 'mother' so off putting? Or was it something else? Perhaps she finally had some ammo to use against Luca now? She contemplated it for a moment before pushing the thought to the side. Maybe one day she'd use it, when Luca was teasing her.
The woman on the other hand was ecstatic when the two girls agreed to be her puppets for the morning. "Splended! I'll show you the outfits right away." She replied, ushering the girls to a back room meant mostly for employees and the other models to use. Once they were in the back, she quickly grabbed two piles of what appeared to be 4 separate outfits in each pile. "It's summer now, so these are actually my summer wear. For you, miss..." "You can call me Sylva." Sylva introduced herself. "Sylva, what a pretty name. Okay, for you I have these;"
From there the woman showed off each outfit, generally consisting of a shirt, pants, shorts or just a dress by itself. "You can add any accessories if you'd like. Though, er... I would ask if you could maybe leave that sword... in here, it doesn't really... seem like anything I would sell here." The woman asked, having noted that the blade on Luca's back was indeed real and not just some fancy accessory. "Other than that, I'd ask you wear all four outfits at least once, maybe for about a half-hour each. All you need to do otherwise is just stand in the stores window or walk around the store posing here and there to promote the outfits as best you can. Hmm, I think your hair would actually look real cute up in pigtails." The woman added, pushing back Sylva's hair to hold up either side of her heads hair in her hands. "Maybe keep your bangs down... is this your natural hair colour?" She looked shocked as it did look quite natural down to the roots. "You could say that." Sylva replied, a bit begrudgingly. "Well, I think it's pretty. I've always been rather jealous of girls who could pull off pastel or bright coloured hair. I've always had brown and nothing else looks good on me." She mused. "Anyway.." Pulling away from Sylva, the woman gestured towards two stalls with a curtain hanging over them. "You can change in those. Come on out when you're ready."

Moving past the semantics of Lucatiel's precise role, she composes herself back to normal by the time the saleswoman guides them into the back of the store. The swordswoman seemed a bit surprised at first, half-expecting the rooms beyond public vision to all have a sparse, almost standardized layout to them, as opposed to the fairly loose and comfortable space for employees to duck into for a short time. She wouldn't go so far as to call it a lounge, but at the very least more furniture than plastic chairs was a vast improvement over her expectations. Once they were there though, it was time to get down to business, and she slowly drew out of the strap that kept her blade's sheath slung across her back. "Alright, I'll set it by the door then. I doubt it'll go anywhere." A soft clink of metal sounded off as she found a spot to set down her blade, the silver-redhead leaning it gently against the wall after adjusting a few things around it for support.
After that, it came down to sorting out the logistics of their task itself. The rotation itself seemed straightforward, with the outfits already picked out it would just be a matter of getting changed quickly. While the store employee--Or perhaps she was the manager or owner? Luca hadn't quite determined which yet--set to work preparing Sylva to go on display, the swordswoman went ahead and inspected the first of the outfits meant for her. Considering it was a "family line", she wasn't entirely surprised to discover that it was made up of a small sundress, pale white and frilly towards the bottom, and a matching skirt that almost blended in with the top. A pair of sandals were set underneath them, seemingly unused and fresh from the box, a little thicker than what one would normally find and slightly raised at the heels but otherwise ordinary. Harmless enough for a starter, she supposed.
By the time the employee had finally concluded working with Sylva's hair and gestured towards the simple changing rooms, Luca had already disappeared behind the curtains and begun changing. Emerging a few minutes before her companion, the swordswoman stepped out from within, her suit folded up neatly and the rest of her normal clothes gathered up in her bag. The sundress she found appeared short but loose; a few proportions were seemingly meant for someone more compact than herself, the length only just overlapping with the skirt while the cloth around her chest and shoulders seemed unfilled. Although, it was entirely possible that it was simply how they were meant to be. She was hardly an expert on fashion. Regardless, it fit her well enough that they wouldn't need to make any radical changes, thus all that was left was to wait on Sylva to come out to present herself in her own display outfit.
