Fei Lian is a trickster at heart. He's small, even for a wind tribe B'alam, but his size makes him all the more agile in the air. His swift, acrobatic flight is his pride and joy and he's not exactly modest about it. In fact, his boasting can be downright intolerable to those with limited patience. He also delights in making the lives of the earth-bound B'alam miserable. It's not beyond him to not only snatch what he can from below, but to take extra pains to make someone's life miserable as a none-too-subtle reminder of their place in the grand scheme of things according to Lian.
To his fellows he's playful, bright, and always thirsty for a good competition. He's among those who gather from the ground below to provide for their tribe. Honor, to him, is something he reserves for those on the wing.
[► ]•••Plots?
• Lots of interaction with the wind tribe. I want him to be everyone's friend or a collective pain in the neck depending on how they take his...isms.
• Land-dwellers to torment.
• Eventually I want him to pick a fight with the wrong B'alam and end up being grounded and in the mercy of those he harassed. I want him to grow up and become something of a benevolent creature after a while. Whether this comes about by kindness or cruelty is up to the plot. I want something very involved and well-thought out.
• An eventual mate! While I want him to learn to play nice with the surface, he'll still only take a feathery lady as his mate.
