Eagerly, Olan hurried up the stairs, glad to be away from the staring contest going on between the spirits. He really didn't want to be caught in the middle if they decided to fight, though it wasn't likely. Somu definitely wouldn't start a fight, but maybe Demitri-san wouldn't either.
When she saw her brother walk up the stairs, Somuka immediately followed. She could hardly stand just floating there and staring at Demitri any longer. That spirit looked threatening, though she was grateful that it was Demitri who was able to repel the Demon.

Demitri made a 'psh' sound as her brother swooped in to rescue Olan and Somuka. Any longer and Demitri may have tried to hack off the poor spirit's head. When the two Fluffsworth turn and walk away, Demitri immediately vanished and reappeared next to her brother.
"I thought I told you to play nice." Dustynn hissed under his breath, turning as he continued walking down the hallway. Demitri smirked, and the young gang leader had to contain himself from trying to smash her, knowing full-well that he wouldn't make any contact.

Somuka stood very near Olan, taking frequent wary glances at Demitri from time to time. She really didn't trust the other spirit to just stay where she was. For all she knew, Demitri would disappear and reappear nearly too close in striking distance, if she wasn't already.

"Somuka.... It's nice to see you again." Dustynn smiled kindly. "Are you doing well? I hope Demitri didn't bully you too much." He said quietly, refraining from saying the phrase 'my sister'.

"Nah, she just stood at the bottom of the stairs," Somuka replied, managing to smile a little at Dustynn, though the smile was twitchy. It was pretty obvious that she was very, very annoyed, but she didn't say anything related to that. There wouldn't be a point in it.
Olan, seeing the smile, grew a little worried. Maybe he should expect a spirit fight soon, according to the circumstances here. The tension was just very ominous, if not too ominous.

Demitri rolled her sleeves up, obviously ready to fight. Hell, if this Somuka creep wanted a fight, she better be damn ready for one. But before she could move, Dustynn's hand was already in front of her body. It was nearly transparent, proving it to be a spirit hand.
"Don't try anything." The young gang leader hissed without turning. "Otherwise I'll have no choice but to make you disappear for good."

Somuka was prepared to strike out when she saw Demitri roll up her sleeves, but a strange hand had stopped her. To her surprise, the hand had belonged to Dustynn. She hadn't expected the young man to be able to make such a hand, but apparently she was wrong.
Olan had flinched at first when he expected the worst to happen, but there was surprisingly nothing. A sigh of relief was let out and he disregarded the matter. Hopefully, nothing else would happen.

Dustrynn's hand returned to normal as he brought it back to his side, finally turning to look at his sister. "Demitri, disappear for a spell." He more or less ordered rather than asked like he usually did.
"Oh, just you wait. You won't wake up to see tomorrow's sunshine." The older twin hissed, disappearing in a flurry of shining particles. The dark mist began slowly becoming thinner and thinner until it finally disappeared into the air itself.

What Demitri-san had said worried Olan a bit, but he thought nothing about it. It was probably just a sibling's bluff and nothing more. He and Somu had told threats to each other before, but since they were born in a normal family at the time the threats were less extreme.
Somuka could feel her brother's uneasiness and so she put an arm around his shoulders. It probably felt like wind to him, but it should nonetheless calm him down.

Dustynn smiled lightly, the final particles disappearing behind him. "Somuka... it's been a while since we last met." He started off. He knew the demon was close by. He wasn't just going to allow Dustynn and Olan to walk around like nothing was wrong. Whatever the hell that damned spirit wanted, he wasn't going to let off so easily.

"Yeah, I have to agree. Forgive me for that," Somuka said with a polite smile. "If I knew that Demon was after Olan, I would have returned sooner." She listened for any unfamiliar sounds that could be made by the Demon or his lackeys. They're not all that clever, really.
'You don't have to get yourself involved, Somu,' Olan thought, not wanting his sister, though she was now a spirit, to get hurt. 'We're perfectly fine. It's not like the Demon has succeeded or anything.'

"Well, he's succeeded in strangling both of us to unconsciousness." Dustynn pointed out, showing the bruising on his neck. "Well, he also threw me on the ground... so I guess he can destroy physical things. However, his flames are quite... simple illusions, shall I say?" Dustynn said, thinking back to the first attack that Dustynn had witnessed.
"Anyway, I would like you, Somuka, to hang around Olan for a while. Hopefully I'm not asking for too much. Just trying to find something more... suitable than Demitri." Dustynn said, laying his plan out flat. "If the demon were to appear, just whistle."

"It's no trouble at all," Somuka replied. "I would love to watch over my little brother. It'll be just like the old days." Of course, she immediately felt a little nostalgia then. She really missed being alive, but she was very much glad that her brother was safe. Now all they needed to worry about was that Demon.

"At least it is no trouble. About my sister, however... I'll take care of her. She won't bother you anymore." Dustynn smiled slightly, then brushed past the two Fluffsworth. Taking a running leap, he slid down the banister on the heels of his shoes, landing gracefully at the bottom.
"I hate you. Do you know that?" Demitri hissed, glaring at him from the doorway. Dustynn just looked at her for a very long time, not saying anything. "Of course you know that. Why do I ask such redundant questions?" She sighed.

After Dustynn left, Olan continued to wonder about the Demon's motives. It had been quite a while now, and there was still no clue as to why he was after him. It wasn't like he was going to appear now that Somu was here, but what if she had to leave?
He shook his head. Somu wouldn't leave him at this time of need. She wasn't that kind of sister. If she never left him alone in the dark when they were children, then she wouldn't leave him now. Sure, there were some who would leave their younger siblings, but Somuka just isn't one of them.
