the pretender- the foo fighters.
dave ghrol is a music god. the first album he was the only member and played ALL the instraments.
that said, their current incarnation has beautiful bass rythems, awing drums, and the way the lead guitarist and daves rythem guitar sync up is just amazeing.
also take a gander at big me, my hero, darling nikki, and echos silance patience and grace.
