illyrianth AyameKage One of them even said to me "Sort your 'air out mate!"... Have you EVER seen a chav with a good hairstyle? I haven't. If they had good hair they may not have to hide it under those ugly hats of theirs! Ewww. Burberry chavs. I once got the cry go up of "It's not 'Alloween luv!" from some chavvie personage as I strolled about in town one summer afternoon. I just turned, looked at him and replied "Indeed - so why don't you take that mask off?" and wandered off while his friends fell about laughing. I felt GOOD that day wink Better a Goth than a Chav, any day. Haha nice one. Well I'm neither goth nor chav. Although I've been called both. Dunno how that works but y'know... kinda gay. Just because I have longish black hair (natural, I'll add), wear a bit of black and have gold jewellery, that doesn't make me a goth OR a chav. I hate stereotypes. I think we should all get along. This could only be achieved by killing all chavs! WHEEHEEHEE!

Pixeluscious Blergh, I think most Americans are under the impression that being a chav is a fashion statement. 0_o It's getting that way in Britain too... since chavs are now a majority. I think I should move country...

Invictus_88 Ah, quizzes might give mor detail for you. Goodle gives me this:http://www.getlippy.com/play/quizzes/chavquiz/I gave a few 'yes' answers and it gives me this:Quote: You are 15 % chav You clearly know you are not, nor will you ever be anything even closely resembling a bonafide chav but that doesn't stop you from jumping on the bling bandwagon every now and then. There's nothing wrong with a bit of pretending though you'll never be able to hold your own with the true Burberry brigade. I can, however, justify all of my responses as 100% non-chav acceptable.
3nodding And I got... Potential chav You are 28 % chav Do you find yourself reaching for the hair gel in the morning instead of your straighteners? Does the thought of your man in gold chains and sovereigns get you all hot under the collar? You've still got a fair way to go yet but there's definately something of the chav in you and who knows, carry on the way you're going and one day you might even be able to show Brian Harvey a thing or two. Yeah, ok... because eating Pot Noodles, having an uncle named Kevin, and riding in a limo to your gothic girlfriend's 18th party makes you a chav. Right.

I came out as being around 10% chav. The problem I see with many of these 'are you a chav?' type quizzes is that they commonly confuse chavvy traits with the sort of things any ordinary person without much money might do. And being less wealthy than average and being a chav are not the same things - I've met middle-class chavs, who are even more unintentionally hilarious than the council estate ones.

3nodding I was three percent...As was your brother, I think. And that's simply because of the dialect word 'tea'.

Gold and pearls.
Admittedly, that would be more authoritative if I actually knew members of either group.

Am I the only one wondering how the chavs are going to die out when they breed so fast, or change themselves when they remain so socio-culturally degenerate?
