S'not too bad.

But what's with the all-white eyes?

xd I painted the figure and gave it back to my friend, assuming it was done... little did I know I forgot to fill in the eyes, but we both agreed that we are lazy folks that don't want to bother getting those eyes painted in. (might have to do with me taking so long to bother painting his models xp )

I can't wait for that real camera sad

I just finished painting this up this morning.
It was really difficult to get the shoulders due to the shining gold and lack of natural light, so I didn't bother.

You'll notice I've put Blue Ink on areas of the skin. I did this to represent over stretched, dead and dying flesh.

Ugh also, this is a Word Bearers Obliterator.

Camera issues aside, that looks damn nice. The blacklining (heavy inking?) really makes the colors snap, even with the washed out lighting.

for anyone that hasnt seen them in the main painting section on the tabletop forum, here are some elements of my ex blood raven army that i sold in june. the army was built up while i was working in games workshop.

freehand detail on power claw, ace of spades with scroll.

chaplain "mephisto" front view

devestator squad gamma

tac squad alpha

tac squad beta

predator destructor "ALKOR" with freehand detail on track armour.

drednought battle brothers "DIABLO" & "BAAL"

other parts of the army consisted of: forgeworld vindicator, 5 terminators, 10 scouts with sniper rifles.

Very very nice. my only question is, in the first part of the post you said your 'ex blood ravens' may i ask what you meant by that? Some fluff thing Im unaware of due to not playing DoW?

the ex bit isnt due to any twists in dawn of war just due to the fact that i sold the army so i could aford an HDTV, lol.

Duno why, bu the men and tanks and dread look amazing compated to the Chaplain at the top.

i changed my painting style on the chaplain as you cant really drybrush black i had to take a different aproach, lol. usually when i paint i drybrush everything and then ad blocks of colour, but the chaplain had to be done a bit differently.

OKAY! Andreis has done an experiment with his wraithguard after nearly completing his re-vamped wave serpent and I want thoughts on it, the wave serpent is just there to show how I tried to match the colorations.

i never really liked librarians, i was in the process of converting one when i sold the army, maybe he'll get painted for ebay? who knows?
