Though, Kai should have stepped up and said that Amy wasn't pushing for commitment. So in reality, he's somewhat in the wrong here. I think the problem is both Kai and Amy. Kai started things too fast, but Amy didn't slow things down or even speak up. She allowed herself to get swept away in the moment, too.}}

A simple suki da would have done it back home.*

((Yay for Tes whee Absolutely correct. As you can see from that post, Kai immediately regretted using the word "love." It was too strong, but under the circumstances I couldn't think of anything more appropriate that would have been understood and have never said it again since for that reason. Besides I thought it would have given Kai who was normally so impulsive and confident a more human element when I have him questioning his feelings and second guessing himself like he was. Things were moving fast and he needed someone to confide in and a reality check. Kai is normally so independent that he didn't know quite how to handle being in a relationship where he saw someone quite frequently. It's almost a miracle in itself that kai would admit he needed some help dealing with his feelings and Ryzan is easy to talk to. That's all.))
