2011 House Spirit Week: pg 268- pg 272

Welcome Students, House-elves, and Staff!
It's fall term, and you know what that means! That's right; House Spirit Week!
During House Spirit Week, we show pride for our House and HPGoG.
But what kind of term here wouldn't begin with a little trouble? I'm starting to think it's not possible, because yet again we have a big problem that we need everyone's help to fix. More information about that can be found in the posts below.

Secondly, less in spirit of individual houses, but more in spirit of interhouse unity, we have decided that the themes this year will be completely different for each day. So throw off those uniforms and get ready to come up with some crazy costumes, because these are the themes! (You may dress up using your avatar or Tektek, but either way make it fun!)

Monday: Pajama Day (Stuffed animals, slippers, and of course PJs.)
Tuesday: Best Weather Day (Make your avatar express what kind of weather you like best.)
Wednesday: Whiteout Day (Wear as much white as possible and be creative.)
Thursday: Rainbow Day (Wear all the colors of the rainbow.)
Friday: House Colors Day (Show off your House Pride!)

Finally, let the feast begin! This thread will, of course, be the headquarters for the Event, which lasts until September 18.

General Rules

• Show your Guild Pride!! Remember the themes (see above) for each day!
  
  
• Take part in the Celebration!! We really want to see some posting during this event. All general chatting should be done in the Great Hall. Please do not post in your common rooms until classes begin
  
  
• Spirit Week only lasts a Week, so lets keep everything fun and clean. Nothing wrong with healthy competition (hint, hint)

Relay Race


As was mentioned before, there is once again trouble at Hogwarts!
Somehow an animal from each house has sneaked its way into the castle and I need your help to get them out!
This is a competition between the houses, so you must be a student to participate.

Best Dressed


Throughout the event, the mods will be making note of who they think has the most creative, eye-catching outfits.
At the end of the event a winner will be announced so keep an eye out!

*Calliope yawns hugely, snags a bit of toast to go, and then hurridly runs to North Tower to see the Badger for herself.*

Lyra walks into the Great Hall still dressed in her pajamas. I like Pajama Day. Makes getting up very easy because I don't have to get out of my comfy pajamas. xd Lyra sleepily takes a bit of toast and nibbles on it, waiting for more people to arrive.

Yami walked into the great hall wearing his favorite red paw-print pjs with his Radio Jack slippers, not forgetting his sleep buddies, his ghost doll from back home in Japan, and his pink teddy bear. He smiled to everyone as he went to the Hufflepuff table and sat down to enjoy the festivities.

Chanell (or rather Nellie) liked the idea of pajama day and walked comfortably to the Great Hall with her all time favorite and oldest toy Toto the Erumpet.
